Transcript [00:04] Right now, a quiet but incredibly [00:09] dangerous deception is slipping its way [00:12] into the American [00:14] church. [00:16] As believers, we are called to watch the [00:20] world stage with biblical [00:23] discernment, looking for the signs of [00:27] the times. [00:29] We're suspicious of globalism. We see [00:33] secularism spreading in the culture [00:36] and traditional values, which in my [00:38] opinion are girded by common sense, [00:41] under attack everywhere we look. [00:45] And therefore, naturally, when someone [00:48] stands up on the world stage and [00:51] fiercely denounces that secular [00:54] globalist system, [00:56] we lean in. [00:59] But what happens when the enemy of your [01:03] enemy is actually building a counterfeit [01:08] kingdom? [01:09] Recently, Tucker Carlson delivered an [01:12] extended monologue, nearly an hour and [01:16] 40 minutes long, [01:19] in which he diagnoses what he believes [01:22] is ailing America. [01:25] And it is a long litany, some of whose [01:29] points would easily resonate with the [01:33] average conservative American Christian. [01:37] But as it pertains to the remedy that [01:40] Tucker suggests for what ails America [01:44] and the wider Western world, it is a [01:46] concoction laced with the language and [01:50] concepts sprung from the mind of one [01:54] Alexander Dugin. [01:57] Dugin is often called Putin's brain [02:02] or the philosopher of the modern Russian [02:06] empire. [02:07] To the casual conservative Christian, [02:10] Dugan would sound like an ally. [02:13] He critiques the woke West. He defends [02:16] tradition and he speaks in deeply [02:19] religious terms. [02:22] But thankfully, this Tucker monologue [02:24] did trigger an immediate urgent alarm [02:27] bell from some prominent conservative [02:31] Christian observers. [02:33] Within minutes [02:36] after Tucker's monologue, Jeremy Boring, [02:39] the co-founder and former CEO [02:42] of The Daily Wire, released a powerful [02:45] episode whose panel members warned of [02:49] the sinister philosophy that Tucker is [02:53] trafficking. [02:55] Listen to this clip of panelist James [02:58] Lindsay in which he defines Dugan's [03:00] aversion to globalism, [03:03] which he calls mondialism, which [03:06] [clears throat] term is derived from the [03:08] French word le monde for world or globe. [03:13] >> And what he does is he says that there's [03:15] this value system that's the continuity [03:17] or the continuation of the Atlantic West [03:19] that he calls mondialism, which he [03:21] attributes to the French word monde, [03:24] which means world. I would summarize [03:26] this term for a new person to the word [03:29] as one worldism or as as our democracy, [03:32] actually. George Soros is a devotee of [03:34] this. The World Economic Forum [03:37] has been pushing this. The Democratic [03:38] Party has been pushing this. And the [03:41] Bush doctrine of democracy building [03:43] abroad, which of course Tucker alluded [03:44] to a bunch of times, is the right-wing [03:47] aspect of this. We're not going to go [03:49] have a big grand open society like the [03:52] left like Soros wants, we're going to go [03:54] to Iraq and we're going to bust their [03:55] heads until they have democracy. [03:58] It's the right-wing and the left-wing [04:00] versions. This thing that they call the [04:02] neocons refers to the Bush doctrine, not [04:04] to the Reagan doctrine, not to the [04:06] Goldwater or the William F. Buckley. [04:08] They're specifically talking about this [04:10] nation-building, democracy-building [04:12] project. Well, okay. [04:15] So, here's where Tucker's pointing at [04:17] things that are right and where Dugin is [04:18] pointing at things that are right and I [04:20] will say behind Tucker, which is that [04:22] mondialism is a failed project and the [04:25] vast majority of the American [04:27] conservatives [04:28] have recognized that it's a failed [04:30] project. President Donald Trump's rise, [04:33] MAGA, [04:34] and the kind of the America First [04:36] movement, everything, and I mean the one [04:38] that President Trump leads, not the one [04:39] that Nick Fuentes leads, which are [04:41] completely different. This entire [04:43] project is a awakening to a rejection of [04:47] a mondialist [04:48] program. You could date it from World [04:51] War I with the League of Nations, World [04:52] War II with the United Nations, or [04:54] really it kind of coming into its [04:56] fullness in the late 1960s going into [04:58] the early 1970s. And it gripped both [05:01] parties. Tucker's not wrong. So, there's [05:03] this huge MAGA opposition to this [05:06] mondialist thing. Now, [05:08] Dugin's hypothesis is that is being a [05:11] Westerner. That is the logical [05:13] conclusion of being a Westerner is being [05:15] a mondialist. [05:17] >> So, you can see how the average American [05:21] conservative Christian would be nodding [05:23] in total agreement with Dugin, [05:25] possibly taking the bait. [05:29] But, from this point onward, Dugin's [05:32] philosophy, [05:33] and as we'll soon see his theology, [05:36] takes a very sinister twist. [05:41] But first, let's return to Jeremy's [05:43] guest, James Lindsay, who explains the [05:47] Dugin-Carlson political strategy [05:50] before he hints at the spiritual agenda. [05:55] >> And what Tucker wants to do is to take [05:57] to your question was what's his project? [05:59] He wants to take MAGA conservative [06:02] Americans, red-blooded Americanists who [06:04] believe in the founding, who love [06:06] President Trump, and convince them that [06:08] while they hate this globalist aka [06:11] mondialist project [06:13] the way the Russians are doing it is [06:15] better. They're resisting it better. [06:18] Tucker's resisting it better. So, [06:20] abandon President Trump and get behind [06:22] them, whatever his new project is going [06:24] to be, because that's what's really [06:26] going to resist. What I think he's [06:28] trying to do is that there are two [06:30] opposing [06:32] things, two opposing movements or causes [06:35] recognizing that mondialism was a bad [06:37] job that it has if it was ever useful, [06:40] it's reached its logical conclusion and [06:42] should be jettisoned, should be left [06:44] behind. We can't force an open society. [06:46] We can't democracy build. This is not a [06:48] good deal. And there's two ways to [06:50] oppose it, MAGA and whatever [06:53] this multipolarist project is. And [06:56] Tucker's trying to siphon MAGA people [06:58] off into the other project, which is [07:01] more angry, which is based in a critical [07:03] theory, which like you said in your, you [07:05] know, opening has this idea of being [07:08] kind of like occultist and mystical in [07:10] the the the not just sovereign state, [07:12] but the sacred state. James is entirely [07:16] correct to be worried, but what most [07:19] political commentators miss is the [07:22] theological trap beneath all of it. [07:26] Alexander Dugin has constructed what [07:30] I'll call a mirror image eschatology. [07:35] He looks at the exact same end time [07:39] events that we read about in Ezekiel [07:41] chapter 38 and Revelation, [07:44] but Dugin has flipped the script. [07:49] In Dugin's theology, Russia and its [07:52] Muslim allies are the holy remnant, [07:55] while Israel, [07:57] the Jewish people, and the West comprise [08:00] the empire of the Antichrist. [08:04] Today, we're going to unmask this [08:07] deception. [08:09] We're going to look at how Dugin is [08:11] uniting Russian Orthodoxy and Shiite [08:15] Islam [08:16] to build a counterfeit end-time script, [08:20] and why American Christians must not [08:23] fall into the trap. [08:29] Now, [08:30] to understand exactly how Alexander [08:33] Dugin is flipping Bible prophecy, we [08:35] have to look [08:37] at Ezekiel chapter 38. [08:41] If you open your Bible to Ezekiel [08:44] chapter 38, you find a prophetic road [08:48] map concerning these latter days. [08:51] Ezekiel warns of a future time when a [08:56] massive coalition from the outermost [08:59] parts of the north [09:01] will march against a re-gathered [09:05] Israel. [09:06] For decades, Bible scholars have [09:10] identified the land of Magog and the [09:13] prince of Rosh is likely referring to [09:17] modern-day Russia marching alongside [09:21] Persia, which definitely is modern-day [09:25] Iran. [09:26] The aggressive invasion of Israel by [09:29] this unholy alliance is ultimately [09:32] judged by Yahweh himself. [09:36] But if you pick up Alexander Dugin's [09:38] foundational book, The Fourth Political [09:42] Theory, [09:43] you discover something very shocking. [09:48] Dugin looks at the same global [09:51] alignment, Russia and Iran standing [09:53] shoulder to shoulder, but he changes the [09:57] identities entirely. [10:00] He doesn't see Russia as an ungodly [10:03] invader, he sees Russia as a holy [10:07] empire. [10:08] Dugin pulls a specific Greek concept [10:13] from the book of 2 [10:16] Thessalonians chapter 2, this Greek word [10:19] being the katechon or restrainer. [10:24] While dispensationalists [10:26] teach that the Holy Spirit is that [10:29] restrainer holding back the revelation [10:32] of the Antichrist, [10:34] Dugin teaches that the physical Russian [10:37] nation is the katechon or restrainer. [10:40] Listen to the panelist, Michael Waller. [10:45] >> Dugin is very different. He sees Russia [10:48] as as something eternal, [10:50] something holy, [10:52] great holy Russia, [10:54] that's to be divinely led on a divine [10:56] mission. [10:57] And as Ryan just said, as the [11:00] katechon or the the restrainer of the [11:03] Antichrist. [11:05] >> Wow. [11:06] >> So according to Dugin, it's not the Holy [11:08] Spirit that's the katechon or the [11:11] restrainer, but Russia is that [11:14] restrainer of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. [11:19] All right. Now listen to another [11:21] panelist, Ryan Mauro, tie this together [11:25] with the Russian Orthodox Church [11:28] and the Shiite Muslim end-time figure, [11:31] the Mahdi. [11:32] >> What's so important about this is that [11:34] what's happening with Tucker is a [11:35] microcosm of what's going to be coming [11:37] to people's churches. And this is a [11:39] conscious deception that Dugin has [11:40] actually written about. Is they're [11:42] trying to merge these ideologies through [11:44] end times prophecies. So, what the [11:46] Russian Orthodox Church, which is [11:48] controlled by Putin and it's long been [11:49] controlled by the Russian intelligence [11:51] and Dugin is associated with, is now [11:53] preaching that the end times that [11:55] they're headed towards, that's imminent. [11:57] Uh there will be two figures that battle [12:00] the Jewish Antichrist, which will lead [12:02] the West. And it will be the Islamic [12:04] Mahdi, yes, they're endorsing the [12:06] Messianic figure of Islam as being an [12:09] ally of Russia. And then the uh Katakon, [12:13] which will be an entity or a leader, [12:14] they say it's Russia, that allies with [12:16] the Mahdi to wage the battle of [12:18] Armageddon against the evil Jewish-led [12:21] Antichrist. [12:22] >> So, in summation, [12:25] in Dugin's mind, Russia's alliance with [12:28] Shiite Iran will be a holy crusade to [12:32] hold back the Western and Zionist or [12:36] Jewish Antichrist. [12:39] Now, Ezekiel 38 explicitly states that [12:43] Persia, or modern-day Iran, is a primary [12:48] ally of Gog in that end time invasion of [12:53] Israel. [12:54] To a Christian conservative, [12:56] intuitively, [12:58] an alliance between an Orthodox nation [13:02] like Russia and a radical Islamic [13:05] theocracy like Iran seems completely [13:08] unnatural. [13:10] In Shiite Islam, they are waiting for [13:12] their own Messianic figure known as the [13:15] Mahdi. [13:16] And if you followed my series that I did [13:20] just over a year ago, Understanding the [13:22] End Times, you know that according to [13:25] Shiite Islam, [13:27] that Mahdi plays a central role [13:31] in defeating the Christian world, [13:36] which they call by the name of Rome. [13:40] But, Dugin actively teaches that the [13:44] Shiite Mahdi and the Russian Orthodox [13:47] Church are fighting the exact same [13:50] enemy, the secular individualistic West, [13:55] and of course those Zionist Jews. [13:58] He has created a syncretic multi-faith [14:02] alliance that fits together perfectly as [14:06] a direct counterfeit to the true [14:10] biblical narrative. [14:12] You could say that Alexander Dugin is [14:15] taking the exact same prophetic [14:18] chessboard of Ezekiel 38 and flipping [14:22] the colors of the pieces. What the Bible [14:26] calls an unholy rebellion, Dugin calls a [14:31] holy war. [14:33] And if you are an anchored in the word [14:37] of God, and I mean both Testaments, the [14:39] Old and New Testaments, you might find [14:42] yourself cheering for a system that is [14:45] actually setting the stage [14:48] for the great deception. [14:51] The ultimate danger of Alexander Dugin's [14:54] theology isn't just that it flips Bible [14:57] prophecy, it's that it also tries to [15:00] subtly guide conservative Christians [15:03] into changing their allegiances, their [15:07] very world view. [15:09] I can't presume or vouch for Tucker [15:12] Carlson's audience, but as it relates to [15:15] my own, I know your unyielding [15:19] commitment, like mine, is to the literal [15:22] fulfillment of God's word, the whole [15:26] word of God from Genesis to Revelation. [15:30] Accordingly, we believe that Yahweh is [15:33] fulfilling a plan [15:36] foreseen and forewritten thousands of [15:39] years ago in which Israel lays at the [15:43] epicenter. [15:44] Jesus's return is [15:47] intimately associated with this plan and [15:50] he directly intervenes in history [15:54] when he returns to utterly defeat such [15:57] an unholy and global alliance that [16:00] invades Israel [16:01] in order to destroy it. [16:04] For anyone who has any biblical [16:08] discernment at all, [16:10] the explosion of blatant anti-Semitism [16:14] that we've seen blossom since the events [16:16] of October 7, 2023 shouts from the [16:21] rooftops that we are at the precipice of [16:24] these events. [16:26] Dugin's and Tucker's counterfeit script [16:29] wants you to lose sight of all of this [16:32] and instead look to an unholy [16:36] Russian-led alliance with Shiite Islam [16:39] to save you from Western decadence, the [16:42] woke culture, and the overthrow of [16:46] traditional Christian values. [16:49] Don't [16:50] fall for it. [16:53] Just because a worldly leader uses [16:56] Christian symbols or speaks out against [16:59] modern woke culture does not mean that [17:02] they're building the kingdom of God. [17:05] The Apostle Paul gave us [17:08] a timeless command in that same [17:12] Second Thessalonians chapter 2 from [17:15] which we get that very term katechon or [17:18] restrainer. [17:19] There Paul also tells us, "Let no one [17:23] deceive you by any means." [17:27] If a political philosophy requires you [17:30] to rewrite Ezekiel chapter 38, if it [17:33] requires you to view a radical Islamic [17:36] theocracy in Iran as a holy ally, [17:39] and it forces you to root against the [17:42] Jewish people, it is not biblical truth.
