History of Kehila.org

  1. 2006

    Joseph Magen founded and launched Kehila.org as a private member-only bulletin board for Israeli believers to publish classified ads and events as a way to facilitate inter-congregational communication among the Messianic community in Israel.

  2. 2010

    Added a directory listing of congregations and ministries.

  3. 2012

    Launched Kehila.com as a public website that included aggregated links of articles from Israeli Messianic related websites.

  4. 2014

    Registered 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization called Kehila Ministries International to fund the vision of Kehila.org.

  5. 2015

    Launched KehilaNews.com to publish articles, blogs, and videos.

  6. 2019

    Rebranded all sites under the kehila.org domain. Redirected Kehila.com and KehilaNews.com to Kehila.org.

  7. 2026

    Redesigned Kehila.org and added new features for videos, YouTube channels, better search, and more.
