Transcript [00:09] A: Hey, Shalom and good morning from Melbourne, Australia. [00:13] Pastor Barry is also here with me, not in the same room, but a few floors in between. [00:23] And good morning to you, Pastor Barry. [00:26] How are you, my friend? [00:27] B: Good morning. I'm doing well. Good to see you. [00:30] A: Yeah, thank you. [00:32] You joined me here in Australia for this last leg of my five-parts ministry tour. [00:42] It started with the conference on board our Alaskan cruise. [00:48] It continued with Spokane, Washington for the Israel Decree. [00:52] I did another conference in Dubai, seven different teachings in New Zealand. [01:00] That's the last one. [01:02] We've already been to Brisbane a couple days ago; [01:05] it was awesome. [01:06] The place was packed, and thankfully no protesters and none of that nonsense. [01:12] And the Lord is truly present, and we are thankful for that. [01:19] So Pastor Barry, before we dive into the questions that we couldn't ask from the stage in Brisbane because of lack of time, [01:28] why don't you start with a prayer? [01:30] B: Absolutely. [01:32] Father, we are so grateful for all the things that You're doing around the world. [01:36] Thank You for this trip and all those who have heard the truth. [01:40] We pray that truth would not only go out today, but it would prevail in our hearts and minds. [01:44] And would You not only touch our lips as we speak but anoint the ears of the hearers as well [01:50] and bless them, God, as they are further equipped for the work of ministry through this time today. [01:55] We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen. [01:59] A: Amen. Amen. [02:00] Just want to beg your pardon for coughing sometimes and all that sneezing and coughing. [02:10] This whole transition between summer and winter air conditioning and heating and all of that probably affected me a little bit. [02:22] B: It got you. [02:24] A: Yeah, but I'm sure that today I managed to rest after this one and I'll be like new tomorrow. [02:33] So, Pastor Barry, you've got all the questions. [02:37] And again, this is different than Q&As before where we actually asked people to ask questions online while we were doing things. [02:47] This time, we're actually going to have the questions already with us [02:54] because when we did the event in Brisbane, it was beautiful, but we ran out of time. [03:01] We wanted to use the last 20, 30 minutes that we could keep that venue [03:08] to do the meet and greet and thank people personally for arriving and sign books and all of that. [03:16] So we promised everyone in Brisbane that [03:20] the questions that they asked, that they submitted, will be actually addressed on a special Q&A from Melbourne. [03:28] So without further ado, why don't you, Pastor Barry, start? [03:34] You have all the questions. [03:35] We fed them into the system so people will be able to see them in the lower third of the screen. [03:42] You've got the questions, so let's go. [03:45] B: Yeah, normally, as Pastor Mike asks, the people give their name, [03:50] and therefore we can associate the question with the person. [03:53] And the cards that were filled out didn't come with the name, most of them, few of them added their names. [03:58] So these are just random questions from the attendees at the Evening of Bible Prophecy in Brisbane, Australia, as Amir mentioned. [04:06] And Amir, I think this is probably the question of the century, or at least of these last days. [04:12] And this question is something I think that is so important and needs to be addressed. [04:19] I'm waiting for it to pop up on the lower third. [04:21] Not sure what it's doing... [04:23] A: There it is. [04:23] B: And the question is, "What is the single most important biblical truth or current prophetic sign [04:31] that we want the global church to understand or see right now–and why is it important?" [04:40] And from my mind or for my mind, there's an easy answer to that, but I'll let you address that. [04:47] What's the biggie here? [04:49] A: Well, you know, I think the return of the Jews back to the land [04:54] and the fact that they possessed Jerusalem also [04:58] and they're now in the center of the world's attention once again is definitely it. [05:03] If you want to go more specific, [05:08] I would say even within that time frame of the Jews returning [05:14] we are already at the scale of expecting the next war [05:19] and we see the preparation of all of our enemies for it. [05:25] So we're way into the fulfillment of the return of the people of Israel back to their land [05:32] and we are right before the Ezekiel War. [05:36] That's where we are. [05:37] And so obviously the Ezekiel War could not happen before the return of the Jews back to the land, [05:42] which, by the way, is mentioned in Ezekiel 38. [05:45] And so again, the fact that I'm from the tribe of Judah, [05:52] I was born in Jerusalem after 2,000 years of being away, [05:55] it's not just fulfillment of prophecy, it's personal for me. [06:01] I am the embodiment of that fulfillment of prophecy. [06:06] And again, I'm sure you will agree with me that what we see today, [06:11] with the nations arising against us once again, it's also very prophetic. [06:16] You know, they didn't like us when we were away from the land, [06:20] and they don't like us when we are in the land. [06:22] And that, of course, is also something that the Bible has been telling us about forever. [06:29] And so I always resort back to Balaam's words (Numbers 23:9): [06:34] Behold, a nation standing alone, not reckoning itself among the nations. [06:41] So this is it, in my opinion. [06:45] B: Yeah, I agree, Amir. [06:47] And one of the points I think that needs to be made in light of this age of rampant replacement theology that we live in is [06:56] how many other things hinge upon that one fact of the Jews coming back into their national homeland. [07:02] Zechariah 12:3 couldn't happen (A: Correct.) if that didn't happen, [07:06] the whole world couldn't find Jerusalem to be a burdensome stone if the Jews were still scattered all over the world. [07:12] The Ezekiel scenario in 38 and 39 couldn't develop. [07:16] Chapter 37 of Ezekiel hasn't come to pass or wouldn't come to pass. [07:21] And one of the points that I like to make regarding replacement theology is that [07:26] if replacement theology is true, [07:28] there are portions of the Bible that are not. [07:31] Because there are unfulfilled promises and prophecies made about and to the nation of Israel. [07:36] And so, you know, this question comes up a lot about replacement theology. [07:40] And we actually have one coming up later. [07:42] But it's a dangerous, basically anti-biblical position. [07:48] And everything began to move on May 14th, according to our calendar, May 15th for you, 1948, [07:57] in the direction of fulfilling unfulfilled Old Testament prophecies regarding Israel. [08:02] Now one of the questions that follows this, Amir, I think is important as well. [08:07] And we've talked about this before and a lot of people want to know, [08:11] and I think J. Vernon McGee believed all the Jews had to go back to Israel, all 15.5 million from around the world. [08:17] But are there a percentage of Jews from the West that will eventually return to Israel? [08:24] And should Christians live in Israel if they're able to? [08:28] A: Well, first of all, we have to distinguish [08:33] between the fact that the Jewish people have a promise, a physical promise of physical restoration to the land [08:41] and the spiritual promise that is for all Christians eventually to rule and reign with Christ in the Millennial Kingdom. [08:50] Until the Millennial Kingdom and us being back with the Lord, with our glorified bodies, [08:57] Israel, especially Jerusalem, is still, you know, that's still the fig tree that came back to life [09:05] and that is still national Israel and the promises for national Israel, basically. [09:14] And so... [09:16] I'm not sure why, but [09:20] there is an automatic thing that is bringing down the... [09:25] I don't know how it works here. Never mind. [09:27] B: It's the window cleaner. [09:30] A: Yeah, and the lights turned off and everything. [09:32] But listen, bottom line is this. [09:36] Bottom line is that Christians are Christians, Jews are Jews. [09:43] The promise of the return of the Jews to the land is for the Jews to return. [09:47] I always remind Christians that, [09:51] we have interesting descriptions of Israel in the Bible when it comes to shrubs and trees. [10:01] We have the olive tree, we have the palm, [10:05] and then we have the fig. [10:06] And the olive and the palm are the spiritual and religious privileges of Israel [10:11] that later on Christians who were grafted in [10:14] now share the same fatness of the same oil. [10:17] And so obviously we have now the same God, [10:20] the same scriptures, same... all of that, it's wonderful. [10:25] But then there is the fig tree, [10:27] which was always about national Israel. [10:29] The fig tree that pertains to the land [10:32] and to the capital language and anthem, I guess, the flag. [10:36] All of those things that are the description of a national part of a nation. [10:44] And that is something that Christians aren't to be grafted into, but they are to see. [10:51] When Jesus spoke on that in Matthew 24, He says that [10:58] when you "see" the fig tree coming back to life or becoming tender, [11:05] When you see, you don't have to be the fig tree, you have to see the fig tree. [11:11] So I'm the fig tree, you, Pastor Barry, you're the one who sees the fig tree. [11:18] And in a way, that's how it is. [11:24] Now, are there a percentage of Jewish people who need to return to Israel? [11:29] Look, eventually, I believe eventually, all of them will have to just because they will be so persecuted everywhere else. [11:41] And we already see that happening. [11:43] There's already a massive influx of Jewish people from what used to be very, very safe and secure places where Jews felt at home. [11:52] Some places like Australia and North America and even Western Europe [11:57] where people... that's these are the biggest Jewish communities outside of Israel. [12:03] And now there is a massive wave of Jewish people coming back because they don't feel safe anymore they are being persecuted. [12:12] So I believe that eventually everyone will understand that [12:18] there is no other place for the Jewish people but the land. [12:22] And you and I always teach that Ezekiel 36 describes the presence of Jewish people outside of their land as an offense to God. [12:31] We teach that because God says in His word in Ezekiel 36 that [12:38] wherever you go, people are asking, "Aren't you the people of God? [12:43] Why are you not in your land?" [12:45] And that is something God is bothered by and God is offended by. [12:50] That's why God said, "I'm going to bring you back for My name's sake, [12:55] not because you're suddenly a perfect nation and you deserve it. No, for My own sake. [13:02] In fact, we need to start looking at things that way. [13:04] God is doing things not according to man's perspective and view, [13:09] but according to His name, promise, word, character, nature. [13:14] That's who He is. And so... [13:17] Again, there's no certain percentage that activates something [13:25] I think that they are coming back and eventually... [13:29] If anything, the Tribulation is going to obviously make it very clear [13:36] that Jewish people are safe nowhere but where God wants them to be. [13:42] And I will end up with this: [13:44] Jesus will judge nations according to how they took care of the Jewish people during the Tribulation. [13:52] And He's going to severely punish anyone that did not take care of His brethren, brethren in the flesh. [14:01] And so there's no doubt that a promise like that and a prophecy like that, [14:07] it's because of the severity God is taking this whole thing of going against Israel [14:17] and trying to destroy them and trying to cancel them and curse them and replace them and all of that. [14:23] So, yeah, eventually they will all return back, but I don't think it's going to happen within one moment, [14:30] it's a gradual thing. [14:32] And eventually when He comes back, [14:35] those that are in Jerusalem, those that are in Israel, look up to Him. [14:39] And I believe that when they look on Him whom they pierced, [14:44] they will then invite Him [14:45] and they will say as He promised, [14:47] Baruch haba b'Shem ADONAI, [14:49] blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. [14:53] B: Yes. Amir, it's interesting [14:56] there are those who teach that the fig tree in the Olivet Discourse has nothing to do with the nation of Israel. [15:03] And yet we're told that when Jesus encountered that fig tree in Mark's gospel, [15:07] that it was the day after the triumphal entry. [15:10] So it was Monday of the Passion Week. [15:12] And Jesus came and there was no fruit on the tree because it wasn't the season for figs. [15:18] Now, why would Jesus get aggravated with the tree knowing full well that it wasn't the season for figs [15:27] unless there was some type of spiritual lesson? [15:29] And obviously, I believe the fruitless fig tree points to Israel's rejection of the Messiah, not in totality, but by and large, the majority. [15:39] And then the next day, you've got the encounter with the fig tree that Jesus cursed. [15:43] And the second day of the Passion Week on Tuesday, the observation was made that it was dried up from the roots, [15:51] which I believe is prophetic of Israel being pulled up out of their land [15:56] until it's time for the fig tree to get tender and put forth leaves once again, [16:02] which is taught on Wednesday, the Olivet Discourse. [16:05] A: Correct. [16:05] B: And Jesus said, learn this parable teaching from the fig tree. [16:11] And when you see these things, as you mentioned, [16:13] you know that there's a generation that will not pass away. [16:16] So it's quite clear, I believe, that the fig tree, without question, [16:20] is representative of Israel initially in their unbelief, [16:25] then their regathering back into the land, [16:27] and then finally how they are dealt with by the nations, as you mentioned. [16:31] So once again, I think we're pretty safe in understanding [16:35] the fig tree represents national Israel. [16:39] Now, Amir, there's another question that comes up rather frequently. [16:44] Actually, I was just asked this the other day, [16:46] and that's about the tribe of Dan. [16:48] We do know that they are absent from inclusion in the 144,000 who are going to be the primary witnesses of Christ during the Tribulation period. [16:59] And yet they are mentioned during the millennial reign of Christ. [17:04] And so what's that all about? [17:06] What can you tell us about the absence of Dan? [17:09] A: It's judgment and restoration. [17:11] I guess it's the story of Israel in a nutshell. [17:16] Dan could not be a good fit to spread the gospel [17:23] as it was the spearheading factor in the race of Israel [17:31] to assimilate and to worship other gods in those days. [17:36] And if you remember, the tribe of Dan had a double problem. [17:41] One, it actually rejected the original inheritance [17:47] that God gave them and was seeking for a different place [17:51] and thus went up to the northernmost part of the land. [17:54] They were thinking that it's safe, secure, and prosperous up there. [17:58] And yet they did not understand that they were the first to be destroyed because the enemy came from the north. [18:05] And the second thing, of course, if you remember, [18:08] is that when Rehoboam and Jeroboam, [18:14] the kings of the southern and the northern kingdom of Israel were rulin, [18:26] Jeroboam, if you remember, introduced alternatives to the temple in Jerusalem. [18:32] He actually built two places, one in Dan, the city of Dan, [18:40] and one in the city of Bethel. [18:43] and basically put a golden calf and said, this is Jehovah that brought you out of Egypt. [18:52] I think that that alone can show you that it probably was hard for God to say [19:01] they're the ones to preach the gospel during the Tribulation. [19:04] But again, remember the restoration of Israel will come when Jesus will come back. [19:09] And then when the division of the land to the different tribes will be done again Dan is back in the picture. [19:16] So there is the element of judgment [19:21] as well as restoration within the story of the tribe of Dan. [19:26] B: In your wrath, remember mercy. [19:30] I think that's something we always have to remember. [19:33] And you know, Amir, this question does have a name associated with it. [19:37] Julie asked, I think, a very, very important question for two reasons. [19:41] One, we need to understand the answer to the question. [19:44] And secondly, to point out, she mentioned that Google has a different answer to what Zionism is. [19:51] And one of the things I think people need to be cognizant of regarding Google searches as well as ChatGPT is that [19:59] these are simply searching humanly generated information sources. [20:06] and just garnering the majority opinion and gathering the majority opinion. [20:11] And that's where they get their answer from. [20:14] Well, when you live in an age where Zionism is viewed negatively, [20:18] well, of course, there's going to be an answer that's generated by Google or ChatGPT [20:24] that is negative in view because that's largely the perspective of people around the world. [20:30] But maybe you can tell us, Amir, what is real Zionism? [20:34] What's it really all about? [20:36] A: First of all, we have to remember that an algorithm is basically driven by traffic. [20:45] And traffic is always proportionate to the number of people using a specific thing at a specific time. [20:55] And we definitely know that there are hundreds of millions of people that are feeding the worldwide web with their own anti-Jewish opinions. [21:12] and there are not enough of us to counterbalance it at all. [21:18] But when you want to understand the definition of something, [21:23] go to the one who coined it. [21:26] Go back to see when "modern Zionism" was born. [21:32] But Zionism as a whole, by the way, the word Zion appears so many times in the Bible. [21:37] It's a biblical word referring to a biblical thing, a God-given thing that was given to the people of Israel. [21:46] Talking about first, it was about a mountain, then it was about a city, [21:50] then it was about a country, then it became a synonym for a nation. [21:55] And anyone who believes in or holds on to Zionism, at least according to the definition of it, [22:04] is believing in the right of the Jewish people over their land. [22:08] The right gives you the right also to return to your land because it's yours. [22:13] So a Zionist is by definition a person who believes in the right of the Jewish people, [22:18] not just over the land, but to return back and live there and possess it. [22:23] This is our ancestral homeland. [22:25] It was never promised, given, and maintained and restored back to anyone else but to the Jewish people. [22:35] When we were away from it, it became basically a marshland and nobody lived here. [22:45] Mark Twain came to bear testimony to how a barren wasteland this place was and how it was underpopulated. [22:56] Nobody wanted to live here. [22:58] The mass influx of Arabs into the land was due to the return of the Jews [23:05] and the innovation, technology, work opportunity that the Jewish people brought. [23:10] The Jewish people came back originally because they knew that's where we belong. [23:16] For the longest time, they've been praying, [23:19] they say, "My body's on the west, but my heart is in the east." [23:25] Wherever they were in Spain, whether Spain or Europe, they were always west. [23:30] And there's this famous song and poem about how "I am in the west, but my heart is in the east." [23:39] And the saying that "Next year in Jerusalem," while we were away it was always "Next year in Jerusalem." [23:48] We pray wherever we are, we pray towards Jerusalem. [23:52] And whereas, if you go now to the Muslim holy site on Temple Mount, they don't even face that holy site. [24:02] They turn their back to that place and face Mecca in Saudi Arabia. [24:07] Mecca is their holiest site. [24:09] And so Zionism in its purest form is the belief in the right of the Jewish people over their land. [24:17] That's it. [24:18] I think every person who believes in the Bible, whether Jew or non-Jew, should be by definition a Zionist. [24:25] And we should never, ever dance by the world's music to "it is a bad thing." [24:35] You see, they take a good thing and they turn it into a bad thing. [24:41] And people are now embarrassed to identify with it, although it's the most biblical thing. [24:47] That's the way Satan does things. [24:51] He always takes some good things and associates them with some other things. [24:56] And then you become embarrassed of them. [24:58] I mean, think about a simple thing of what happened after the flood, the rainbow. [25:04] And you know exactly where it is today. [25:07] But I'm thinking, you know, [25:12] I don't care about what Google says or what ChatGPT says. [25:16] They're all driven by, obviously, what the masses are inputting in it. [25:23] For me, again, and for all of us, it should be very simple– [25:29] Zionism is the belief in the right of the Jewish people. [25:33] the God-given right of the Jewish people over their land. [25:38] And thus it allows us and encourages us to return, live there, [25:44] and see the blessing of God upon us. [25:47] B: Yeah, Amir, you mentioned earlier Ezekiel 36, [25:51] and the Lord's saying, I will bring them back. [25:54] Well, that implies the diaspora, the scattering of Jews around the world. [25:57] And then He follows that with "I will bring them back into their land." [26:03] And I think we need to recognize that the words from "the river to the sea" should never come from a born-again Christian's mouth. [26:11] Israel is pivotal to last days prophecy. [26:14] There's the unfulfilled 70th week of Daniel. [26:18] Everything is going to turn and focus on that 8,800 square miles you call home. [26:23] And this is necessary biblically, prophetically, as well as for the infallibility of Scripture. [26:29] These things have to happen. [26:31] This is the Jewish people's land that God gave them as an everlasting, unconditional inheritance. [26:40] And the fact that they were out of the land for a season is irrelevant because God said, "I'm going to do this. [26:46] I'll scatter you among the nations." [26:48] They never lost their national identity. [26:50] They stayed within, to a degree, their understanding of what tribe they were from. [26:55] And therefore coming back into the land is as biblical as anything else that we look at today that is clearly prophetic. [27:04] So it is their land, not the Palestinians. [27:07] A: I actually think that it is relevant that we are out, we were out, because it shows that God is not done with us. [27:15] If God was done with us, He would have not continued to fulfill His Word. [27:20] And part of His word was "I'm going to disperse you among the nations." [27:26] That was part of it. [27:28] And then He said, "But I will gather you from all nations and bring you back to your own land." [27:32] That's another thing. [27:33] So you cannot enjoy this part and say, "Well, this one is no longer valid" when they're together in the same chapter. [27:41] They're together in the same Word of God. [27:44] You don't cherry pick what you like and feel good with and leave out the other part. [27:50] And you look at the famous verses of the prophet Jeremiah. [27:59] And, you know, in Jeremiah about how He's going to kick them out of the land [28:10] and... [28:13] Look at what He actually said. [28:18] He basically said the following thing. [28:21] I'm talking about Jeremiah 29, verse 11. [28:25] And He said this, [28:28] "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." [28:42] Okay? [28:42] Now it's interesting because when is He saying that? [28:46] This is Jeremiah 29. [28:47] Read the whole chapter. [28:49] This is one minute before He kicks them out of the land for 70 years. [28:54] Just before He kicked them out of the land for 70 years, [28:59] He's already telling them that He has a good word to give them. [29:02] And that good word is that once the 70 years are over, [29:07] I will immediately bring you back. [29:09] And He says, because I have a future and a hope for you. [29:13] This is the God of Israel. [29:15] And so to hang on to the judgment part without... [29:22] And I love it because it's interesting; [29:24] everybody takes those verses and they adopt it to women's conferences and other things [29:31] and they love it. [29:32] And they sound so beautiful. [29:34] These are words that He gave to a sinful nation a minute before He kicked them out of the land. [29:39] And He says, I'm not done with you. [29:41] I'm not done with you. [29:43] And then it is the last time I checked, God is the same God. [29:46] That's why in Malachi 3 (v6), He says, I'm God I do not change. [29:51] "For I am the Lord, I do not change;..." [29:53] He says, "therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. [29:57] I do not change. [29:58] Therefore, if I promise, I will deliver. [30:01] I'm the same God." [30:03] It's the same God of Jeremiah 29 that is the God of today. [30:07] And regarding the gathering in Ezekiel, the difference is Ezekiel is no longer talking about just the diaspora in Babylon. [30:15] Ezekiel is speaking about from the four corners of the earth. [30:19] This is something that happened to the Jews after the second temple, not after the first temple. [30:26] And so definitely Ezekiel is speaking about the return of the Jews in modern days, back to their land. [30:32] And it's phenomenal. [30:35] And you know what? [30:36] I'm saying you don't even have to go that far, look at the facts: [30:40] We are back in our land; [30:42] We were attacked by five very, very well-equipped Arab nations and yet survived; [30:49] We have been attacked throughout the years by so many powerful nations, backed up by evil powers; [30:56] And we are still here and even stronger than ever right now. [31:00] And that's not because we're that good or that smart or that great. [31:07] And eventually the last victory, while we're still here, before the rise of the Antichrist, [31:15] will be a victory that will not even involve a single gunshot or a single sortie of any F-16, F-35, F-15. [31:23] It will be a victory by the Lord God of Israel on the mountains of Israel by supernatural means. [31:30] So I'm saying, you know, Zionism is a godly thing, biblical thing, [31:40] and everyone should be a Zionist if you truly believe in the God of Israel, in the Word of God, and in the plans of God. [31:48] And if it's the same God, then His plans are also final, [31:54] His promises are final. [31:56] And if God is in the habit of changing His mind, then all of us should worry. [32:02] B: Amen! A: All of us should worry. [32:04] It doesn't only apply to the Jewish people. [32:06] B: Yeah. [32:07] Yeah, Amir, I think it's important what you just said at the beginning of this section. [32:13] You know, you can't read or interpret Jeremiah 29: 11 without reading verse 10. [32:18] A: Exactly. [32:19] B: The Lord states the duration of their being cast out of the land. [32:23] He said 70 years. [32:24] A: Exactly. [32:24] B: He told them exactly what's coming. [32:26] A: And then "I have a good word." [32:27] He said, I have a good word for you. [32:29] Can you imagine a prophet speaking the Word of God to the people and says, [32:36] "I have a good word for you. [32:38] When the 70 years are over, I'll bring you back because I know My thoughts for you." [32:45] Because that's God. [32:47] Okay, so everybody, stop thinking as using human thoughts when it comes to God. [33:00] God's ways are higher than our ways. [33:02] His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. [33:04] B: That's right. [33:04] A: Stop interpreting the Bibles in human eyes and human values. [33:10] B: Emotionally. [33:10] A: Yeah, exactly. [33:12] B: Yeah, I think if there's a takeaway from that pair of verses, it's all things work together for good. [33:18] God said bad things are coming, but remember the good truths of His Word. [33:22] Amir, our next question, I think, is one that's often on everybody's mind. [33:27] I think about it. [33:28] We've had this question before. [33:30] And I think the audience needs to understand, you know, Netanyahu's thinking and his association with the scriptures. [33:40] And the question is, [33:43] "Is there an awareness in the Israeli government that there is a spiritual move happening in these last days [33:51] or things prophetically are lining up?" [33:54] I mean, is that into the thought process and strategy forming of the nation of Israel to any degree at all? [34:02] Is there an awareness where we are along the biblical timeline? [34:05] A: Yeah. [34:07] Yes, there is, but a very limited. [34:11] The one that we have now is a belief that we're here because of God. [34:17] We are here because of the story, our story, and our story is in Scriptures, [34:24] and backed up by historical facts and archaeological facts [34:27] but it's Scripture, it's God. [34:30] It's all about God. [34:30] Yes, there is that understanding. [34:33] But I don't think that they go down to the very small details of Ezekiel war and stuff like that. [34:44] I think that everybody is now simply trying to survive. [34:48] Everybody is simply trying to stop this evil and, stay strong, get more Jewish people to return, fight anti-Semitism, fight the lies. [35:00] We're busy in the day-to-day things and relying on God, [35:08] but the understanding of the prophetic is a little limited. [35:14] And I think a lot of it has to do with, and I know it's going to sound very odd, [35:23] but only when you believe in the Messiah, you're being sealed with the Holy Spirit [35:31] and so He's no longer coming upon you and He can leave you, [35:36] it can be on specific people for specific purpose, all of that. [35:41] That's the way God used to do things in the Old Testament. [35:45] That's the way God is going to do things in the Tribulation period. [35:49] For us as believers, we don't have to ask God, "Don't take Your Holy Spirit from me." [35:57] So among the believers, the fact that the Spirit of truth, who leads us to all truth and explain to us the Word of truth, [36:09] I think it gives us a greater and a deeper clarity of the Word of God in the details also. [36:17] And so if the Jewish people would have gotten to the details of the Messiah, [36:25] they would have come to the conclusion that it was Yeshua, obviously. [36:30] I mean, all the prophetic portions about the Messiah in the Old Testament pointed at Him. [36:36] But again, they did not go into the details as much as believed in the concept and the idea. [36:44] And for them, the idea of the Messiah is not associated with persecution and death and atoning death and all the whole Isaiah 53 thing. [36:56] It doesn't register here. [36:57] For them, Messiah is about resurrection from the dead, third temple, [37:02] Jewish people are back in their land, [37:04] and once again, Israel is a nation above all nations when it comes to how it handled things with God. [37:10] All of these things are associated with Messiah, which by the way, it's true for the second coming. [37:14] So again, there's a limited understanding of parts. [37:22] And there's more of a holding on to the concept rather than to the details. [37:29] And that's why I think that not so many are bothered by what we are talking about almost every day. [37:39] the Ezekiel War, the coming war, the next war. [37:41] They don't take Turkey as an enemy because Turkey is in Ezekiel. [37:48] They take Turkey as an enemy because Turkey appears to be now an enemy. [37:51] But they're not seeing it the way we do, [37:55] for the most part, maybe there are some that do. [37:58] I don't want to generalize. [38:00] But in the government, there's an element of Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox Jews. [38:06] And of course, for both groups, it's all about the Bible. [38:10] It's all about God. [38:11] It's not like we did it all because of us. [38:15] They understand the God factor. [38:19] But again, once you don't have the Holy Spirit in you, [38:23] and you don't read the scriptures in the same conviction and the same understanding, [38:32] it will never be the same level of what we and how we see things. [38:41] B: And Amir, it's interesting in light of what you just mentioned regarding not recognizing the things [38:50] that the Scripture says about the first coming of the Messiah, [38:53] or even recognizing that there's two comings. [38:55] He's coming to atone for the sins of the world and coming back to rule in righteousness. [39:00] And yet we've got the same type of thing happening in the church today [39:05] via allegorizing prophetic Scripture, replacement theology, and these other things that are so rampant in the world today. [39:13] And somebody asked a question or the realm of churchdom, I should say. [39:17] Somebody asked a question about, you know, [39:21] they're talking about Brisbaneites, again, all these questions came from the conference the other day in Brisbane last Wednesday night. [39:27] And, you know, what do they do? [39:29] How... because there are so many replacement theology churches here, what do they do? [39:35] In light of the fact that Hebrews 10:25 says, [39:38] "Don't forsake the assembling of ourselves together with other believers. [39:42] And all the more as you see the Day approaching." [39:46] And so here we are watching the fig tree and all the things that are surrounding [39:52] the regathering of the Jews that are prophetic in nature. [39:55] And yet the effort to find a church that teaches the whole counsel of God, [40:02] accurately sees Israel in its place in God's redemptive plan to this very day. [40:07] What do you do when you can't find a church that is teaching the Bible accurately? [40:14] A: Yeah. Well, first of all, as we heard, [40:20] the last thing you need to do is sit in the basement and watch YouTube [40:26] and go down deep into rabbit holes of conspiracies and some weird theologies. [40:33] You need to be around believers. Okay? [40:36] Now, not all believers, it's true, not all believers are into Bible prophecy and into the prophetic part of the Bible. [40:44] And simply because they're not being taught. [40:47] Okay? [40:48] Now, if you have to choose between not attending any church and attend a church that is not teaching Bible prophecy, [40:55] I would say go to the church and then look for a supplement for that specific thing. [41:04] And I think that this is where our ministry, our ministries, if I may add, yours and ours. [41:12] Yes, this is it. We are not to replace church. [41:16] We're not here to tell you, "Don't go to church, just watch us." [41:20] God forbid, chalilah! Go to church. [41:23] B: Certainly not. [41:25] A: Yes, certainly not. [41:26] Be among believers and have the koinonia [41:30] and then if you feel like there is an absence of that part in the teaching at your church, [41:37] then obviously... This is why everywhere we go, we see it's packed houses. [41:43] I mean, we were in Brisbane and the people of the conference can attest to that. [41:48] It was packed. [41:49] And by the way, the pastor told us that if we could have found a bigger venue, it would have been packed as well. [41:58] I mean, we could only find a place that holds a little bit more than a thousand people. [42:01] But we could have filled it with 2,000 people. [42:04] And there's a hunger. [42:05] There is a hunger among so many Christians to study that prophetic part of the Bible [42:13] and to understand what Israel is all about, to understand what's coming next. [42:17] They truly want to know that because they know they don't get it at the church. [42:22] So I'm saying if you have to decide between not going to church at all [42:29] and going to church and then finding teachings and conferences [42:36] that will give you an understanding of the times and the seasons, [42:40] choose the second option. [42:42] Don't forsake the assembly. [42:46] Do not be one of those that are hopping and thinking that, you know... [42:53] Now, unless you started a home group that is growing into a church, [42:59] It's a different story. [43:00] That's how churches start, obviously. [43:01] B: That's how ours started. [43:05] A: Exactly. [43:06] It's how most churches started as a home group. [43:09] And I encourage that. [43:11] And I also encourage every church and every pastor to teach the full counsel of the Word. [43:16] Not just part, you know. [43:18] But again, not going to church at all, [43:22] not at all being in the Word and studying... [43:25] Let's say 30% is still prophetic [43:29] but what about the other 70%? [43:30] You don't want to sacrifice not studying the other 70% just because they don't teach the 30%. [43:35] So this is where we kick in. [43:40] This is our calling. [43:41] This is our mission. [43:42] This is what we do. [43:43] And we ask you to look into that [43:50] and to help us to do that and support and pray and give whatever you can do [43:56] in order for us to continue and answer that need that is getting greater and bigger all over the world. [44:05] Look, I came from New Zealand, it was the same thing–Packed places. [44:10] I was in Dubai, if we could have gotten a room bigger than 250 seats, we would have had it full as well. [44:18] I mean, we were in Spokane, Washington; whatever the church offered was immediately taken. [44:26] And it's not because we're superstars, [44:28] we are great, not at all! It's because there is a hunger and thirst among believers for that. [44:34] And some churches, God bless them, are teaching that [44:40] but most churches don't. [44:42] And this is why we are so committed to doing that. [44:48] Look, it's not easy, I've been in my suitcase for 35 days already. [44:51] And as you can see, I'm not feeling great today at all. [44:55] But the sense of calling and focusing on that which I believe is so needed overrides everything else. [45:10] Yeah. [45:11] B: Yeah, it does. [45:13] And Amir, I think one thing to encourage those out there, especially those who have this same question, [45:19] you know, there are people that hold to replacement theology as an interpretive mechanism, [45:26] and there are those who are actually more like a hatemonger. [45:29] And I think if you've not got someone from the pulpit [45:33] who's preaching "from the river to the sea" and all that, [45:37] but they hold that interpretive position, [45:40] it's not good, but it's probably a safer place [45:44] than someone who is actually calling for the destruction of the Jews and things of that nature. [45:49] So, you know, it's a sad place to wind up. [45:53] And yet there are people, we hear this all the time, no matter what country we're in. [45:56] You know, how do we find a Bible teaching or prophecy teaching church? [46:01] And Amir, our next question is a little bit interesting. [46:06] And I know that someone informed you that you're one of the two witnesses. [46:11] So who's the other one? [46:12] A: Yeah. [46:14] Remember, I don't know, was it with you? [46:18] No, no, it was in Jan's conference. [46:19] B: Yeah, it was with me. [46:20] A: Oh, you were there? [46:21] B: Yeah, yeah. [46:23] A: Okay, then. [46:24] So, you know, I mean, I have a... You know, God bless them, [46:28] a lot of people are very excited. [46:30] And to some degree, some of them have never met a Jewish believer before. [46:36] And they think that we are different. [46:39] I don't know. [46:40] Maybe. [46:40] Anyway, that person was super excited. [46:44] and he wanted to let me know that I'm one of the two witnesses. [46:49] Um... No, I'm not. [46:53] In fact, I don't have any plans to be here for the Tribulation, (B: Amen to that!) [47:00] which is when the two witnesses will live and pray for three and a half years. [47:06] I think that the two witnesses are characterizing specific things that only two or three people in the Bible ever were able to do. [47:21] And so it might be that this is them or working in their spirit. [47:26] I'm not sure. [47:27] But all I know is this, [47:29] it's not for us. [47:31] It's not... I'm not bothered who they are. [47:34] This is not something I have to. [47:35] It's the same way of I'm not bothered with the Antichrist is. [47:38] It's nothing I lose sleep over. [47:41] I know that once we are out of here, he will then show his face. [47:45] We are the restraining factor now for him not to be able to be exposed. [47:52] And the same goes with the two witnesses. [47:55] Once that happens and the Antichrist rises and there will be a temple in Jerusalem, [48:01] There will be great deception [48:04] and you know, there's nothing good that can come out of an embodiment of Satan ruling the world, even from Jerusalem. [48:12] And I think that these are the times when the two witnesses, [48:19] and again, the fact that the church is not there is why there's a need for two witnesses, is why there's a need for 144,000, [48:29] it's why there's a need for an angel that will proclaim the everlasting gospel in the... [48:36] So all of that is because we're not there. [48:38] Because our job in this world is to proclaim the gospel. [48:42] That's all we need to do. [48:43] And when we're taken out of here, God will bring about new and effective things, [48:52] for the most part, by the way, out of the nation of Israel. [48:54] The two witnesses, as well as the 144,000, I believe, are of the nation of Israel. [49:01] So that He's not done with Israel, [49:03] He's going to use Israel. And elements from Israel to preach to Israel and to the world, just as He did 2,000 years ago. [49:12] When people say, "the Jews rejected Jesus," I always say that who were the disciples and the apostles, if not Jews? [49:19] What was the first church in Jerusalem, if not Jews? [49:21] I mean, the Jewish people are the ones that didn't know what to do with the Gentiles in Acts 15. [49:29] And so I'm saying... not all the Jews rejected [49:33] that's why Paul said blindness in part has happened to Israel. [49:36] And I think that even throughout the Tribulation, God is going to use elements from among the Jewish people [49:41] to reach out to the whole world with the everlasting gospel, with the good news. [49:46] that even then there's still hope and the only hope for Israel and the world is the Messiah Yeshua. [49:54] There is no other name under heaven by which man can be saved. [50:00] B: ...can be saved, that's right. [50:01] Yeah, we have to remember the church went from about 120 Jews to 3,000 [50:07] at the first preaching of the gospel by Peter under the inspiration and direction of the Holy Spirit. [50:13] And the question ends with, you know, that some scholars say it's Moses and Elijah, [50:18] representative of the Law and the Prophets. [50:21] Others say that it's Enoch and Elijah because they did not die. [50:25] And I think for the latter, we have to understand there's a whole generation of people that are going to skip death. [50:30] And you know, Hebrews 9:27, the appointment to die, [50:34] that's talking about man's basic end throughout the course of history. [50:38] Sin was introduced into the world, so it's appointed unto man, [50:42] an appointment with death, but there's a whole group of Christians that are going to skip and [50:47] bypass the whole death thing. [50:49] So I think in answer to the question, we can say without hesitation, [50:53] we don't know! [50:55] The Bible doesn't say who they're going to be. [50:57] A: So we shouldn't be bothered. [50:59] B: And so speculation is unnecessary. [51:02] A: But I know I'm not one of them. That I can tell you 1000%. [51:08] B: Amen to that. [51:10] We also have a question coming up regarding the book of Revelation as well as Isaiah. [51:17] And we do know clearly there's going to be a new heaven and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. [51:23] We're told there will never be anything in the New Jerusalem that causes a lie or defiles. [51:29] And the question comes about what is this the dogs and sorcerers are outside [51:35] and where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched. [51:39] Where are all these things happening is how the question is framed. [51:44] And one thing I think we have to remember when we're talking about dogs and sorcerers being outside; [51:49] that's not like they're scratching on the gates of the New Jerusalem or the walls of the city. [51:53] That's just figurative language talking about they have no part, no access into the New Jerusalem. [51:59] And I believe this is part of why there has to be a new heaven and a new earth. [52:04] Satan will have never entered there. [52:07] Satan will have never roamed the New Jerusalem like a roaring lion, seeking those whom he may devour. [52:12] He will never defile, never cause war. [52:15] He'll have no part in our eternal city and home forever and ever and ever. [52:22] So the fire not being quenched and the worm not dying speaks of the eternality of the lake of fire. [52:29] And the dogs and sorcerers being on the outside means they will never, ever get in. [52:35] And there's a rather chilling verse in Revelation (22:11) that talks about, you know, "He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; [52:43] ...he who is holy, let him be holy still.” [52:46] And this is talking about the eternal state of those who both accepted Christ and those who rejected Christ. [52:53] There's no reversal after you die that has established your eternal condition. [52:59] So any comments on that? [53:02] A: No, I think you said it all. [53:04] And I think that we have to understand that eternal is eternal. [53:12] And if there is eternity for us in the New Jerusalem, where there is life, where there is communion with the Lord, [53:23] where there is fellowship with the Lord, where He is with us physically and spiritually, [53:29] where His light is the only thing we need, not the sun, moon, or stars. [53:33] where there's no need for temple because He is there... [53:38] B: ...the Lamb is the light. [53:40] A: Absolutely. [53:41] All of that always comes in contrast to where He is not. [53:49] And wherever He is not, that's death. [53:53] And look, there are some people that teach that all men are saved. [54:01] And if all men are saved, then what about that? [54:05] Who are these that are outside? [54:09] And so my point is that, as you suggested, [54:16] if there is no more sun, moon and stars, [54:19] obviously the galaxies that we know aren't going to exist. [54:22] That's why it's not only new earth, it's new heavens. [54:25] And everything will be different. [54:27] And yet there are two things that remain. [54:31] There are those who accepted, [54:33] that are written in the Lamb's Book of Life [54:35] that are in the New Jerusalem. [54:37] And there are those that rejected, [54:39] that have been judged in the great white throne [54:42] because their names were not in the Lamb's Book of Life [54:46] as they rejected the love of the truth that they might be saved. [54:53] So that's it. [54:55] Bottom line is, this is where the universe is going to eventually come down to. [55:06] Two groups, two types of books. [55:10] There's the Book, which is the Book of Life. [55:15] And the books, which are the names of everybody else. [55:20] And so you can't ignore that there is the other. [55:25] And you must remember that it's by faith alone that you can be part of this one. [55:35] People are always using this, [55:41] "I will not blot you out from the Book of Life" as a threat, [55:47] as if "I can do that, but I will not if you are loyal." [55:50] And I'm like thinking, [55:53] no, if anything, the only way you can be blotted out of any book is from the books, because you were condemned already [56:04] then you are moved to the Book of Life, where it's eternal life. [56:12] And that's the blotting, if anything. [56:16] It doesn't work the opposite. [56:19] This is my opinion. [56:20] And I think that's what Jesus is basically giving a promise rather than a threat... [56:24] B: That's right. [56:25] A: ...when He said that. [56:26] B: Yeah. Amen. [56:27] Two more questions, Amir. [56:29] And I've been kind of hanging on to this one because for you and I, it's very encouraging to see young people at these events. [56:37] And this question comes from Micah, who's 11 years old. [56:42] And I love the question. [56:45] He said, "Will there be any good pastors in the Tribulation?" [56:49] What a classic question. [56:52] And, you know, I think the general answer, Amir, is that the good pastors will be gone. [57:00] Now, I do believe that there could be some pastors who weren't so good that become good after the Tribulation [57:10] or after the rapture of the church and realize their error. [57:14] And, you know, there's a lot of people, Amir, that teach that [57:18] if you didn't receive the love of the truth prior to the rapture, you can't receive it after the rapture, [57:22] which is kind of inconsistent with the rest of life during the church age, [57:28] because people don't respond to the gospel the first time they hear it all the time now [57:33] and the second or third or fourth or fifth time. [57:36] And we have this progression taught in Scripture, you know, that one plants and other waters and another harvest. [57:42] I mean, you know, it doesn't have to be one and done regarding your response to the gospel. [57:48] So I think that's part of the contributing factor to the numberless multitude from every tribe, tongue, nation, and people [57:54] that are saved during the Tribulation period. [57:57] So what you got? The lights back on and the screens go? [58:03] A: Yeah. Finally. [58:06] B: That's funny. [58:08] So I think to answer Micah's question, I think the answer is twofold. [58:15] And here, let me find the other question. [58:18] I kind of hung it up there. [58:22] There we go. [58:23] The question, and I think this is a good opportunity to do a little promo for Jason and GenZion. [58:29] And the question is, "Why do young people and young adults, Christians, [58:33] seem to be so disinterested in the subject of Bible prophecy [58:38] and the things that we travel the world talking about? [58:42] Why is it that we generally will see kind of a middle-aged enough crowd at these conferences?" [58:48] And that's why we're so encouraged to see... [58:51] and I think we saw an unusual number of young couples and families in Brisbane. [58:57] And it was very, very encouraging to see that. [59:00] But what would you say would probably be the cause of this? [59:07] I don't want to call it indifference, but I think disinterested is a good word. [59:13] And why GenZion and Behold Israel is so important. [59:17] A: Well, because... I think I know, [59:20] I think that when GenZion is being under severe attack online when it comes to Israel. [59:29] And when you have a problem with Israel, when people fill so much junk into your head, [59:36] conspiracy theories and horrific demonic things said about Israel, [59:42] then you're no longer interested in anything that has to do with Israel's future and the promises for Israel [59:50] and anything that has to do with the return to the land and the next war and all of these things. [59:56] When you have been receiving things that cause you to demonize the Jewish people and Israel, [60:07] it's hard for you to deal with the prophetic aspect, [60:11] which reveals an amazing love of God towards Israel even today. [60:17] And so they want, the young generation wants to feel religious. [60:23] They are done with smoke and all of the pyrotechnical things in churches. [60:30] They want liturgy and liturgical things. [60:32] They want to hold on to some religious things [60:36] so they can feel religious. [60:37] And when you are drawn to religious things and to religion in general, [60:44] then now you start drawing lines. [60:47] It's them and us. [60:49] So now the Jews are our enemies. [60:51] Now the Jews are possessing a threat to the world. [60:54] Now they are the Christ killers. [60:56] Now they're this, they're that, they're this. [60:58] And that is exactly how the enemy is now working, [61:02] bombarding these young souls with so much garbage. [61:07] And so when you get to that point, [61:09] when you literally develop hatred for the Jewish people [61:14] and accuse them of all bad things in the world, [61:17] the last thing you want to do is study the prophecy [61:21] because it's all about God handling the world in the ways of how they and what they do to Israel. [61:31] Let's face it. [61:32] God has nothing to say about nations and their relations between one another. [61:39] It's always about how it relates to Israel. [61:42] And so if you deal with the prophetic part, [61:47] then you have to agree that that's our land, [61:52] you have to agree that God is the one that brought us back, [61:55] you have to agree that God is on the move, [61:59] you have to agree that Israel has not been rejected, [62:02] you have to agree that God has not replaced us, He has not forgotten about us. [62:07] And for that to happen, [62:10] you need to get rid of the garbage that has been filling your head. [62:15] And so the enemy is working. [62:18] It's a double victory for the enemy when it comes to Gen Z. [62:23] First, he creates hatred [62:25] and then he takes them away from the Bible into the open arms of religion [62:33] that will never give them the full counsel of the word. [62:36] And that's the sad part. [62:38] And I think the only way for anyone to really truly understand the heart of God, [62:44] the character of God, the will of God, the plan of God, is the Word of God, obviously. [62:50] And if you exclude a big portion of it and you allegorize it and you think that's not something that will happen, [62:59] what are you doing basically? [63:02] You're saying God is serious about this and not so about that. [63:09] I think that just as it is the work of the enemy via the internet to discourage and confuse these young people, [63:27] it is also our mission to use the internet, to use social media, to give them the truth. [63:35] Exactly. [63:36] And that's why we started GenZion. [63:40] And we're in the midst of creating curriculums for churches to teach their young adults in college age. [63:49] We are traveling and we are creating more and more online content as well. [63:57] And well, guess what? [64:01] The room decided that I'm out again. [64:03] And so the lights turned off. [64:06] And once again, those shades are coming. [64:10] B: They're here coming. [64:11] A: But anyway, yeah, but bottom line, Pastor Barry, [64:15] it's all about the Bible. [64:18] You can go around and around and look for other, [64:23] if you don't teach the Word of God, the full counsel of God, [64:27] it will always, always boil down to doctrines of demons and horrible theology. [64:35] B: That's right. Yeah. [64:38] A: Well, I think that we did well. [64:41] I just want to remind people two things. [64:44] First, I want to encourage all of you to follow us. [64:48] As you can clearly see on the upper side of the screen, [64:52] there's a new QR code that gives you a beautiful summary of every platform we're on. [65:00] All you need to do is scan that one up there and you'll get everything there. [65:04] We also want to remind you to pre-order the Elijah Mandate [65:09] and be aware of the fact that there's a lot of counterfeit books online. [65:14] B: Already. [65:15] A: Already, and I posted a stark warning [65:21] not to do that, and report them, of course. [65:23] You'll see different fonts. [65:25] They stole the whole design of the book cover, but they use a different font. [65:32] Anyway, just be careful. Use our website, beholdisrael.org, in order to show you how to order. [65:41] And if you want to donate to the ministry, you can do that through the website, beholdisrael.org. [65:46] Stay away from all these charlatans, all these people, the scammers. [65:51] And yeah, I mean, it's sad to see that, but I guess it's part of the package. [65:57] That's what it is. [65:59] We have to pray against it, fight it as much as we can, but understand that ultimately people have to use their judgment. [66:06] Well, thank you, Pastor Barry. [66:08] And we're going to come back on Monday for MidEast and Beyond. [66:14] Back to reporting news and Bible as it relates to the news. [66:22] Again, I'm not reporting news 24-7 on Telegram, but we're not done with news. [66:28] There are some things we want you all to know, [66:31] and we'll be doing that on our MidEast and Beyond very shortly. [66:34] And thank you for watching. [66:36] Again online, if you can, follow us, share, comment, [66:45] and subscribe to our YouTube channels and all the other platforms. [66:50] Thank you again for watching. [66:52] Thank you, Pastor Barry. [66:54] And God bless you all from Melbourne. [66:57] And for those of you who are coming tomorrow to the conference, see you there. [67:01] God bless. [67:02] B: Shalom.
