When [07:11] they were few in number, indeed very few [07:14] and strangers in when they went from one [07:18] nation to another, from one kingdom to [07:20] another, people, he permitted no one no [07:23] one to do them wrong. Yes, he rebuked [07:26] kings for their sake. Do not touch my [07:29] anointed ones and do my prophets no [07:32] harm. [07:34] >> Oh, sing to the Lord a new song. Its rising is from one end of [11:23] heaven and its circuit is to the other [11:27] and there is nothing hidden from itself. [11:29] The law of the Lord is perfect, [11:31] converting the soul. The testimony of [11:33] the Lord is right, rejoicing the heart. [11:36] The commandment of the Lord is pure, [11:38] enlightening the eyes. The fear of the [11:40] Lord is clean, enduring forever. The [11:43] judgments of the Lord are true and [11:45] righteous altogether. More to be desired [11:47] are they than gold. [11:50] and much fine gold, sweeter also than [11:53] honey and the honeycomb. Moreover, by [11:56] them your servant is warned, and in [11:58] keeping them there is great reward. Who [12:01] can understand his errors? Cleanse me [12:04] from secret faults. Keep back your [12:06] servant from presumptuous sins. Let them [12:09] not have dominion over me. Who is [13:14] the man who desires life and loves many [13:17] days that he may see good? Keep your [13:19] tongue from evil and your lips from [13:21] speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do [13:23] good. Seek peace and pursue it. Depart. [13:26] The eyes of the Lord are on the [13:28] righteous and his ears are open to their [13:30] cry. The face of the Lord is against [13:32] those who do evil to cut off their [13:34] remembrance of them from the earth. The [13:37] righteous cry out and the Lord hears and [13:39] delivers them out of all their troubles. [13:41] The Lord is near to those who have a [13:43] broken heart and saves such as a [13:45] contrite spirit. Many are the [13:48] afflictions of the righteous, but the [13:50] Lord delivers out of them all. He guards [13:52] all his bones. Not one of them is [13:54] broken. Evil shall slay the wicked, and [13:57] those who hate the righteous shall be [13:58] condemned. The Lord redeems the soul of [14:01] his servants, and none of those who [14:03] trust in him shall be condemned. Blessed [14:06] are the poor in spirit, for theirs is [14:08] the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those [14:10] who mourn, for they shall be comforted. [14:12] Blessed are the meek, for they shall [14:14] inherit the earth. Blessed are those who [14:16] hunger and thirst for righteousness, for [14:18] they shall be filled. Blessed are the [14:20] merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. And though I have the gift of [14:56] prophecy and understand all mysteries [14:58] and all knowledge, and though I have all [15:00] faith so that I could remove mountains [15:02] but not have love, I'm nothing. And [15:05] though I bestow on all my goods to feed [15:07] the poor, and though I give my body to [15:09] be burned, but have not love, profits me [15:12] nothing. Love suffers long and is kind. [15:15] Love does not envy. Love does not parade [15:17] itself. Is not puffed up, does not [15:20] behave worldly, does not seek its own, [15:22] is not provoked, thinks no evil, does [15:25] not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in [15:27] the truth, bears all things, believes [15:30] all things, hopes all things, endures [15:32] all things. [36:21] Looking at the portion from Deuteronomy [36:24] 7 vers [36:28] 11 [36:33] talks about [36:40] words of Moses before the people of [36:43] Israel come into the land to inherit it [36:47] according to the promise that God gave. [36:50] to the forefathers. [36:53] Moses, [36:55] explains [36:57] or summarizes [36:59] the time that they were in the [37:01] wilderness, [37:07] remembering the grace of God, [37:12] the blessing that comes with obeying [37:14] God. We read in [37:18] Fore! Foreign! Foreign! [37:38] blessed people because [37:42] it was coming for them. But it was [37:48] because God wanted to [37:51] replace the people that were in Kenya by [37:54] the people of Israel and also to fulfill [37:58] the promises of God. But he also [38:03] was able to obey the commandments, [38:06] listen to his voice [38:12] in verse, [38:20] what does [38:23] fear the Lord your God [38:27] to love him, to serve the Lord your God. We read in Jeremiah, [40:17] God calls the people [40:19] in chapter 4:3. [40:30] Thus says the Lord to the men of Judah [40:32] and Jerusalem. break up your fellow [40:35] ground and do not sorn circumcise [40:39] yourself to the Lord and take away the [40:42] foreskin of your hearts. God says [40:45] to take away the foreskin of your heart [40:48] and go after God because otherwise there [40:50] will come a judgment [40:53] according to your decisions that you [40:55] make. And he says if you listen to the [40:59] Lord there will be blessing and if not [41:01] there will be [41:04] there will be trouble. [41:06] We continue reading in Jeremiah vers 9 [41:10] and chapter 9 verse 24. [41:21] Behold the days are coming says the Lord [41:24] that I will punish all that are [41:26] circumcised with the uncircumcised. [41:30] So here the prophet says you are still [41:34] uncircumcised and you need to go through [41:36] a process [41:38] and there will be judgment. There'll be [41:40] exile and still they don't want to [41:43] follow God and they don't understand how [41:44] to love him like God loves them. [43:06] We read in [43:09] 10 28 [43:28] So it's interesting to see that even the [43:30] new heart that's a blessing that God [43:33] gives from his love but he also gives a [43:37] blessing through the land and even today [43:41] we saw that we had a dry season and [43:45] maybe that also shows [43:47] something about this situation of the [43:49] heart of the people. The Sanhedrin were [92:20] amazed that they knew that they knew the [92:24] scriptures so well. They said they were [92:28] with the Lord. If we will be with the [92:30] Lord, he will use us [92:34] >> abundantly. [92:36] I want to challenge it.
