Transcript [00:00] And hope everybody had a good fast [00:02] yesterday. If you fasted, it's very [00:05] doable to do one day. When it's seven [00:07] and two or 3 weeks is a little bit more [00:10] different. But I don't know for me [00:12] yesterday the atmosphere felt very very [00:16] different for Yam Kipur. There was it [00:19] was tangible. There was like a silence [00:22] that I hadn't experienced before. Our [00:25] street is usually very bustly with lots [00:28] of kids riding bikes and noise and loud [00:32] voices, people walking. There was there [00:35] was none of that yesterday. There was [00:36] one or two people that had walked cuz [00:38] David and I were sitting on our balcony. [00:40] One or two people walking past and they [00:42] were actually very quiet, which is a [00:45] miracle for us cuz we were very noisy [00:48] people. [00:50] But uh it was I don't know just [00:53] something felt different. And it was [00:54] almost like I was thinking about it this [00:56] morning. It was like a holy hush over [00:59] the land. And it was in that silence. [01:03] This was just what I experienced. Uh and [01:06] it's something that I haven't [01:08] experienced before. Israel felt actually [01:11] like a restful place. Finally. It felt [01:15] this is so restful, so peaceful, and so [01:18] beautiful. Um, even if it was just for [01:21] one day, I think God really enjoyed that [01:23] as well. And I was thinking about the [01:25] day when I jumped into bed last night [01:27] and I was talking to God in my heart. [01:30] And as I was pondering on that, this [01:34] verse just flashed before me. It just it [01:38] came out of the heavens. It just was [01:39] there cuz I hadn't been thinking about [01:41] it. Haven't thought about it for a [01:43] while. Isaiah 66:1 where it says, "The [01:45] heavens are my throne and the earth is [01:48] my foottool. Who will build a house for [01:51] me? Where will my resting place be?" [01:55] >> Then everything kind of clicked for me [01:57] of how I'd been feeling in the day. And [01:59] I thought about that word foottool. And [02:02] there was this sense yesterday that [02:04] God's feet landed right here in the land [02:07] yesterday. And so many of us in Israel [02:10] were at his feet in our hearts asking, [02:15] seeking, calling upon him, honoring him, [02:19] and worshiping him. [02:21] And he came down and he dwelt among us [02:25] almost a bit like a rehearsal for the [02:28] Sukkot, the end of Sukkot, the final, [02:30] the real Sukkot where we will dwell [02:33] eternally. I really felt God was honored [02:35] yesterday. I don't know. It was like a [02:37] higher honor. I don't know why. It was [02:39] just something I really experienced in [02:41] my spirit, man. Um I was thinking, what [02:44] other nation shuts down totally? Like [02:47] airports, schools, shops, malls, there's [02:49] just nothing of anything anywhere [02:53] to worship their God, to seek their God, [02:55] to come before their God. I don't think [02:57] there is another nation. I believe God [03:00] honors that. Thank God we do keep the [03:03] Moadem here in the land. [03:05] >> Amen. It's something very sacred and [03:07] holy to God. And I believe it it almost [03:11] grants us his mercy even in these times [03:14] of trouble and war because we're doing [03:16] what he's asked us to do. But anyway, I [03:19] won't go into that. I felt that um yeah, [03:23] so anyway, so there was all of that and [03:26] uh yeah, it was just like a prepared [03:29] restful place where he really came down [03:32] and dwelt with us. And so now we move [03:34] into Sukkot to prepare for that future [03:37] eternal dwelling house of God that will [03:40] be in this nation. You know, I think yesterday God [34:21] did work. We didn't hear about it. We [34:24] didn't see it maybe. But I can't help [34:26] but believe that God was so close with [34:30] us, so in the midst of us that he didn't [34:34] reach someone or a number of our people [34:37] in some way that touched them or [34:41] revealed to them something that they've [34:43] never experienced before. So, we just [34:46] believe in faith because he's a God [34:48] that's at work. He doesn't sleep. And we [34:52] thank you that when your people come [34:54] home on Aliyah, this is something that [34:58] really glorifies you. Because when [35:00] they're out, it says in Ezekiel 36 that [35:04] your name is profained. Because the [35:06] people are saying, "But why are you here [35:08] when God's given you a land? Israel's [35:10] your land. Go back home." And you are [35:14] glorified when they come out and they [35:16] come back home. And so I just feel led [35:20] to pray for Aliyia at this point of the [35:22] intercession [35:24] because it's part a very prominent [35:28] prophecy that culminates in their [35:32] salvation once they're back. So we've [35:34] got to get them back. So, Father, we [35:36] want to thank you for all of the [35:39] prophecies that have been declared and [35:40] proclaimed and for that one alone that [35:45] they will be bought back so you can be [35:47] glorified. And I'm thinking now of the [35:50] Psalm 130, [35:54] maybe it's 34, I don't know. And it [35:56] says, "How can we sing the Lord's song [36:00] in a foreign or a strange land?" Well, [36:03] we can't. [36:05] So, another reason for them to come [36:08] home, and I'm thinking also to follow on [36:10] from that, how can and I'm talking [36:13] collectively as a people, us as Israel, [36:15] but those that are still living in the [36:17] exile isle or in another other nations, [36:20] particularly [36:21] America and Canada and all of Europe [36:23] where the so many of our majority of our [36:25] people are. How can we [36:29] walk down the streets and feel safe [36:32] anymore? How can we go to synagogue [36:35] anymore and feel safe in light of the [36:37] attack in Ontario? Um, in Canada just [36:41] yesterday, was it or Yonipur? I think [36:44] yesterday, Sunday evening. Okay. How can [36:48] we walk around looking Jewish and not [36:51] have the risk of being attacked or the [36:54] worst murdered? [36:56] We can't. So Abba, we pray that you will [37:00] work in our people. You know, [37:02] traditionally, I think we say at the end [37:03] of Yonipur, next year in Jerusalem, [37:08] and so let it be, let those words as [37:11] they were said by our people in exile, [37:14] let it become a reality. [37:18] Pray that you would begin to really stir [37:20] their spirits. Open their eyes to see [37:23] the handwriting on the wall. Stir them [37:26] with a homesickness, a longing to come [37:30] home. This is the safest place, [37:33] ironically, [37:35] for our people. [37:37] On Shabbat mornings, our people can walk [37:40] safely in the safe areas, which is the [37:42] majority of Israel, can walk safely to [37:46] the synagogue. We see them ourselves [37:48] when we're driving up to uh Shabbat [37:50] service. We see them walking. We see the [37:52] men with their sons and their kipot and [37:55] their all the regalia. It's safe. They [37:59] don't have a risk of getting I mean [38:01] there's probably a small chance but the [38:03] bigger chance or percentage of being [38:05] attacked is is [38:07] not. So Aba we pray that even those that [38:12] have made aliyah the reports would go [38:14] back to the rest of their families and [38:15] friends and communities. It's good here. [38:18] This is a good land. And in Ezekiel 36, [38:21] you said you would bring them back [38:23] because you knew this was going to be [38:25] good for them. And you would bring them [38:28] back for all of your goodness. All of [38:31] your goodness is in the land. So we pray [38:35] aba that even you would bring your word [38:38] back to them [38:41] that this is the place, this is the [38:42] land, this is the nation so we can [38:45] continue to build and you can be [38:48] glorified in even a greater way. We [38:51] bless aliyah with your power, with your [38:55] holy spirit, with your breath [38:57] and your stirring of your spirit to [39:00] bring many more millions back to the [39:04] land as we prepare here even now to [39:08] receive 800 to a,000 a day for weeks or [39:12] months even on end because even our [39:15] absorption ministry knows the wave is [39:19] standing right in front of us. [41:08] They don't know that we have lots of [41:10] space. [41:11] We have lots of space. They were [41:14] overcome by by the views that we had. [41:17] And it's space for one of a city, two of [41:21] a family, five of a of uh of a [41:26] household, uh 50 from a block, 200,000 [41:33] from a from a a big city. It can go on. [41:37] The multiplication, it's God's [41:38] multiplication. Lord, we ask you to [41:41] multiply and speed the day of [41:44] multiplication. Lord, I I pray speed the [41:47] day of multiplication. Speed the call to [41:51] your people to come home to the father's [41:53] table. It's already set here for them. There's so many distractions and [47:27] deceptions out there. The [53:43] gr grass is greener. the grass can be [53:46] greener on the other side and I think [53:49] that's I mean apart from the fact that [53:52] everything that's happened here and [53:53] there are many reasons I think they too [53:56] think that life is going to be better [53:58] there and I think it could be for a [54:00] little while until things get very very [54:03] bad and then the grass is going to turn [54:06] parched but I believe those ones the [54:09] ones that were born here and raised here [54:11] and are very Israeli I believe those [54:14] ones that are going to become come in [54:16] time the most homesick than the ones [54:20] that were born out in exile because [54:22] they've tasted Israel. [54:24] I mean, we weren't born here, but we've [54:26] lived here many decades, a lot of us [54:28] here. And when we go out, if we're out [54:30] for too long, we start missing it, don't [54:32] we? Many aspects of this uh land and the [54:37] way it functions, we miss it. But for [54:41] those that have been born here and so [54:43] I just want to pray into that. I [54:44] pray for those you know them all. You [54:47] know them all by name. You know they [54:49] left. You know their addresses. You know [54:51] every nation that they're living in and [54:53] and the address. You can quite well able [54:56] to go and visit them because you know [54:58] where they live. And I want to pray for [55:01] those ones that you will you will turn [55:05] it over from the joy and the oh it feels [55:09] good and we're being successful and [55:12] we're making all this money and we have [55:14] this and we have that but deep down in [55:17] the deeper layers and the deeper deep [55:20] calling unto deep that you would stir up [55:23] that homesickness because it cannot [55:25] leave them. It cannot leave them. I [55:28] don't I just don't believe that that can [55:30] ever come out of a Jewish person. So [55:33] that's what I pray that you will you [55:35] will create a stirring that will just [55:38] become stronger and stronger in time in [55:42] time. Everything's in your time seasons. [55:45] A season and a time under heaven uh for [55:48] everything in Yeshua's name. And oh, I [55:51] just have one more thing. What you said [55:53] about when you read from that scripture, [55:55] you said what the scripture says, I will [55:58] take two from a city or two from a [56:00] family or two from a city or two from [56:05] two. It kind of hit me. I I had a bit of [56:08] a giggle about that because it's [56:10] actually really true. We see it all the [56:13] time. A daughter will come or a son will [56:16] come or the rest of the family are back [56:18] in other nations. But I believe actually [56:22] it's part of God's strategy to get the [56:24] rest of the family to come here because [56:26] we've personally seen that with a number [56:28] of people where the son or the daughter [56:31] or the grandparents have come. Oh, Safa [56:34] and Saba, we have to go. We can't let [56:36] them live there on their own or my [56:38] daughter's getting married. My son's [56:40] getting married. We'll have grandbaby [56:42] soon. We better go and live. It's a [56:44] reality that happens. So Aba, we pray [56:47] for your strategies that [56:51] I mean, I've never thought of this [56:52] before for a family. That's so true. So [56:56] we thank you for your ways and your [56:58] strategies that are just unique. You [57:00] just know how to do it. You just know [57:02] how to do it. [57:53] And father we pray that aliyah will be [57:55] opened up to every [58:01] legitimate Jewish person Lord and even [58:04] that uh DNA tests [58:08] would uh become acceptable [58:11] to prove a person's Jewishness. [58:14] So, Father, we ask you to do that, Lord, [58:17] to make aliyah easier [58:20] and even that the budget for aliyah [58:24] would be increased by the new government [58:27] in Yeshua's name. I [59:15] had these scriptures very strongly and [59:18] you know we've just um you know this is [59:21] a time of shakings and we sense the Lord [59:24] saying you know I'm doing the shaking [59:28] you know I'm shaking and I'm so I'm [59:30] shaking my people free that they might [59:34] come home not only to the land but they [59:36] would come home to me. And so I just [59:39] want to declare that today that Israelis [59:42] and Jewish people would be shaken free [59:45] of their idols. They would be shaken [59:48] free of their comfort in the West. They [59:50] would be shaken free of their hiding [59:53] places. They would be shaken free of uh [59:57] preoccupations that don't concern [60:00] eternal things. [68:16] >> Amen. They shall bring my sons in their [68:20] arms and my daughters on their [68:23] shoulders. And so, Father, this is your [68:26] word. And Lord, uh Aliyah isn't really [68:31] on the radar of uh the majority of uh [68:36] churches around the world, on the radar [68:39] of the pastors. But Father, you can [68:42] change that. And so Lord, we pray that [68:44] you will highlight that verse to [68:48] pastors, to leaders, [68:51] to uh just individuals as they read [68:55] through the book of Isaiah, Lord, that [68:59] verse that chapter 49:22 [69:03] will just jump out at them, Lord, and [69:06] they will realize that you are calling [69:08] them to bring your children home, Lord, [69:12] to get behind aliyah and to uh rescue [69:18] the Jewish people from their nations [69:20] before it's too late in Yeshua's name. [69:24] Amen. [69:38] Maybe one more scripture for sure. [69:41] >> Um Jeremiah 16 [69:45] uh verse 14 starting in verse 14. But [69:48] the time is coming, says the Lord, when [69:51] my people, who are taking an oath, will [69:54] no longer say, "As surely as the Lord [69:57] lives, who rescued the people of Israel [70:00] from the land of Egypt." Instead, they [70:03] will say, "As surely as the Lord lives, [70:06] who brought the people of Israel back to [70:08] their own land, from the land of the [70:11] north, and from all the countries to [70:13] which he had exiled them. For I will [70:16] bring them back to this land that I gave [70:19] their ancestors. [70:22] But now I am sending for fishermen who [70:25] will catch them, says the Lord. And I am [70:28] sending for hunters who will hunt them [70:30] down in the mountains, hills, and caves. [70:34] So Lord, I thank you that your word [70:38] tells us clearly [70:40] that your desire is to bring back your [70:43] people to your land. That the two must [70:48] be one. And we've said and prayed this [70:51] before that the people can't be [70:53] separated from the land and the land [70:55] cannot be separated from the people. [70:58] And Lord, as you say here that you're [71:01] going to send fishermen, I'm just, uh, [71:04] picturing, Lord, that with fishing, uh, [71:07] there's bait. There's something that is [71:10] going to attract them back to the land. [71:14] And Lord, with the the hunters, Lord, [71:18] you're going to I just see you setting [71:20] traps, Lord. Um, and you're going to [71:23] catch them. You're going to catch them [71:24] by surprise and and draw them back, [71:27] Lord. So, Father, I thank you that this [71:29] is your idea. I thank you, Lord, that [71:32] you will not relent until all your [71:36] people are where they are supposed to [71:39] be, which is here. Praise you, Lord. [71:42] Amen. [71:49] >> I want to pray for our soldiers. But [71:51] before this, it seems a bit strange, but [71:55] I want to pray for our survivors of our [71:58] hostages from the Nova Festival. [72:02] This last Thursday night, uh my daughter [72:04] and I went to Tel Aviv for [72:08] an an evening of the Slot prayers or the [72:11] prayers that are normally said during [72:13] before Yom Kipur. [72:16] And it was an evening that was planned [72:18] specifically by some of the survivors, [72:22] by some of the hostages that were [72:24] survived. And um [72:28] to see them standing on the stage and to [72:31] see them giving thanks unto God for [72:35] bringing them home, [72:38] it it was amazing. It was amazing. And [72:40] they they jumped off the stage and they [72:43] started dancing and they were lifting [72:45] the flag of Israel high and and I just [72:48] stood there and I said, "Wow, God." [72:50] Like, who would believe that I would be [72:52] alive to see this? I mean, last year we [72:54] prayed for this. And they themselves [72:56] talked about it. They said, you know, [72:58] last year we we were still there [73:02] and and you know, this is the first year [73:04] that they're that they're out [73:05] completely. [73:07] And um but as I looked at it and I [73:10] looked at some of the the survivors and [73:12] their family members, I realized we have [73:15] a lot to pray for. [73:18] We have a lot to thank God for, but we [73:19] have a lot to pray for because [73:22] they are out from Gaza. They are out [73:25] from the torment that they had, but they [73:29] are not free in their minds. [73:32] And that goes along with our soldiers as [73:34] well. [73:36] But one of the scripture verses that [73:39] came forth [73:41] last year at about the time of Sukkot, [73:44] which we're going to celebrate soon, is [73:45] from Nehemiah 8:17. [73:49] So the whole assembly of those who had [73:51] returned from captivity. [73:55] That's like when I read that I was like, [73:56] "Wow." They made booths and they sat [74:00] under the booths. For since the days of [74:03] Joshua the son of Nun until the day the [74:06] children of Israel had not done so. And [74:09] there was very great gladness. [74:13] And I thought of that as these as these [74:15] hostages hostage survivors. I don't know [74:17] what what we call them hardly in [74:19] English. Sordes sorda Chevy. But when [74:24] they when they jumped off and they just [74:26] started, you know, also I mean praising [74:31] God. I mean the songs and the prayers [74:33] that we sang that night, you know, again [74:35] and again and again. [74:41] I was like in every prayer it was adonai [74:47] and and it was just this constant the [74:49] Lord reigns, the Lord will reign, he [74:52] will reign forever. He reigned back [74:53] then, he reigns now from generation to [74:56] generation. [74:57] But also it was a night of saying thank [75:00] you to our soldiers [75:02] and um you know just [75:06] these these young men and women up on [75:09] this little platform that just stood [75:11] there and said thank you. Thank you to [75:14] our soldiers who stood with us during [75:15] this time. Father, I want to bring our [75:19] soldiers. I want to bring our survivors, [75:21] the survivor families. I want to bring [75:22] them before your throne. [75:25] Father, we know that as we watch the [75:27] news, we're not finished. [75:29] Seems like nothing has quieted down. If [75:32] anything, it's it's gotten more furious [75:34] and more [75:36] explosive. [75:38] Father, we bring first, I bring our our [75:41] survivors and their families before your [75:43] throne. [75:44] Father, we thank you that they are home. [75:46] We thank you that they are safe here in [75:48] the land of Israel. But, Father, we ask, [75:50] Lord, that you would work and move in [75:52] their lives. [75:54] Father, we ask that you would bring them [75:56] people alongside [75:58] that would speak hope and comfort and [76:00] Yeshua to them. [76:16] And Father, as we pray for our soldiers [76:18] today, Lord, we lift up every single [76:20] soldier that's on duty, [76:23] every single security and police officer [76:26] and all across the nation, those that [76:29] are watching over the land. [76:32] Father, we think of our soldiers cuz [76:34] that seems to be who we see out there [76:36] the most. [76:38] But Father, we ask Lord that everyone [76:39] who's on security detail, [76:42] you would guard over them and you would [76:43] keep them. And for our soldiers, I pray [76:45] that you would give them strength. You [76:47] would give them energy. Those that have [76:49] missed the holiday of Rosh Shana because [76:51] they're on base. They've missed the [76:54] prayers at the B Knesset because they [76:55] were on base or they were on duty [76:57] somewhere. [76:59] Father, they might miss the beginning of [77:00] Sukkot or even the other days of Sukkot, [77:03] but Father, we ask that you would watch [77:04] over them. We ask that you would protect [77:07] them. And we ask that as they go out and [77:09] come in and go out and come in, Father, [77:12] in some dangerous crazy places, Lord, in [77:15] some of these villages, Father, that [77:18] would like to just see them dead. We [77:20] ask, Lord, that you would protect, [77:21] protect the jeeps, protect the um the [77:24] windshield wipers as well, Father, and [77:27] the front of the windshield. Father, you [77:29] would protect tires, those that are on [77:32] on uh foot going through villages. We [77:35] ask that you would protect them from [77:36] above and from around. Be their be their [77:38] shield round about them. Abba, Father, [77:41] we ask Lord as well, [77:44] Father, as the days are coming to again [77:47] things happening along the wall, the [77:49] Western Wall, the hotel, and the prayers [77:52] going up, the constant uh amount of foot [77:55] traffic that's there. We ask you'd watch [77:57] over our soldiers and security in that [77:59] area. Father, watch over your people. [78:03] Father, I ask Lord that those soldiers [78:05] that are on duty, [78:08] Lord, that you would be with them. You [78:10] would show them and reveal yourself to [78:12] them even at a difficult crazy time. [78:15] That you are watching over them, Lord. [78:18] Father, we ask that you would visit [78:20] them. Visit them in the night season. [78:22] Visit them in the middle of the day when [78:24] it's hot. [78:26] Father, you see them. You know them. You [78:28] know them by name. You know their rank, [78:29] their serial number, every part of them. [78:32] Father, we ask that you would come and [78:34] guard over them and keep them. Father, [78:36] we ask Lord that even at this time, [78:38] Father, when we have the beginning of of [78:41] looking forward to Sukkot, of Emmanuel, [78:44] God with us, dwelling with us, Lord, [78:47] that the presence of Adonai would go [78:49] with our soldiers, Father, no matter [78:52] what they're doing, no matter what they [78:53] come across, [78:55] Father, that they would know that you [78:57] are God. they would know that you sing [79:00] and you rejoice over them.
