Most people assume Jesus only belongs to Christianity. But this Jewish man from Israel saw things differently. As a Jew, he actually LOVES the New Testament, and the teachings of Jesus.
When we asked him about Jesus, even though he was Jewish, he told us right away that he believed Jesus was one of the greatest human beings who ever lived. He shared how he actually draws wisdom from many different faith traditions and applies those lessons to his own life.
But this led to a fascinating conversation about the role Jesus plays in our lives. Because the belief that "Jesus is the Messiah" didn't actually begin as a Christian idea. It began as a Jewish one. Jewish! This man's own faith tradition!
Together, we explored the the promises of the Hebrew Scriptures, and why the question of the Messiah still matters today!
His openness, curiosity, and excitement made for a conversation we won't soon forget.
Whether you're Jewish, Christian, skeptical, or simply curious, this discussion offers a fresh perspective on one of history's most important questions:
Could Jesus be the Jewish Messiah? Watch the conversation and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
