Transcript [00:00] Yo [00:01] >> yo, [00:02] >> you're the most Jewish person I've seen [00:04] on God. [00:05] >> You're the most [00:08] Palestinian. [00:10] >> Nah, [00:11] >> it's worth a shot. [00:13] >> Guess where I'm from. [00:15] >> It's not Palestine. [00:17] >> Where where are you from? [00:18] >> Uh you're from Syria, bro. [00:20] >> No, I'm from Palestine. [00:22] >> Enter Palestini. Medinai. [00:25] What's your uh [00:26] >> which city? Which city? Janine [00:30] >> J why why why so bro if I rolled into [00:33] Janine wearing this jumper Sahi and this [00:35] hat what would happen [00:38] >> I mean I'll be honest and like me if I [00:40] if I seen that right I would mind my [00:42] business one but at the same time like [00:45] what what what's your thought on it like [00:47] how do you how do you feel about the [00:48] whole situation going there do you want [00:50] my solution [00:52] >> sure [00:53] >> so my solution is you begin with area C [00:56] you give every Arab that lives there a [00:58] path to Israeli citizenship. They unroll [01:01] from UNRA. They renounce Palestinianism. [01:05] They get given an Israeli passport. They [01:06] have the exact same rights as me. They [01:08] vote in the same elections as me. They [01:10] could be prime minister. [01:12] >> Well, it has to be an Israeli passport [01:14] though. Like why can't it be like it's [01:16] its own? [01:16] >> Because I think the Palestinian [01:19] identity, Palestinian nationalism was [01:22] created to fight Zionism. and they [01:25] fought Zionism for 78 years and they've [01:28] lost every time and it's just brought [01:30] bloodshed on our people. And I've never [01:32] met a Palestinian that says Palestine is [01:34] the West Bank and Gaza. They always say [01:36] it's from the river to the sea, Western [01:38] British mandatory Palestine. And so I [01:41] think even if a state was created for [01:43] the Palestinians in the West Bank and [01:44] Gaza, it would be used just as Gaza was [01:46] on October the 7th to attack Israel to [01:50] try and get all the land. [01:52] So you're saying Palestinians should [01:54] fully assimilate into Israeli culture? [01:56] >> Yeah. I mean they can remain Arab, [01:59] Muslim, have good but yeah they become [02:01] Israeli citizens. [02:02] >> You think you think the right way to do [02:04] that is by uh killing kids. [02:09] >> Hey any war it doesn't matter. We can [02:12] all agree you know killing innocent [02:14] people is wrong right? [02:16] >> Yes we agree. [02:17] >> We think that that that's the right way. [02:19] Well, we obviously don't think we we [02:21] don't think the same thing's happening [02:22] in Gaza, but no, killing children is not [02:25] just [02:26] >> Do you think the steps that like [02:28] >> that Israel is taking is is right. [02:32] >> Um I wouldn't use as [02:37] I mean generally I think Israel is [02:38] fighting a very moral war. I think that [02:42] Israel [02:43] >> more in what sense like how do you how [02:45] do you think it's it's more [02:46] >> so Gaza be biased naturally? Yeah, [02:49] >> naturally I'm gonna be biased. I mean my [02:51] my grandparents got kicked out by the [02:53] occupation. Uh I I've never been [02:55] >> where were your where by I thought you [02:58] said they were from Janine. [02:59] >> They they were [03:00] >> So when did they get kicked out? [03:03] >> This was [03:05] uh I want to say [03:07] two generations ago. So I put maybe [03:10] maybe early early 1900. [03:14] >> So it would have been either the British [03:17] or the Jordanians that were in control [03:20] of Janine. [03:25] I've lost you. I can't hear you. Is that [03:26] me right there, bro? I I can't hear two [03:29] seconds. [03:33] Can you say something? I think you've [03:34] muted. [03:38] Wait there. Let me just change my sound. [03:42] Say something. [03:42] >> There. I can hear you now. Yeah. [03:44] >> Yeah. [03:46] I mean, as far as my knowledge, I [03:49] I'm sure it was the occupation. Um, [03:52] >> so, [03:52] >> but that that's that's just me being [03:54] biased. And again, like I have like [03:56] family who who do live in like Gaza and [04:00] who do live in like where the occupation [04:02] was more is is more is more strong. Uh [04:06] do you just think like the steps that [04:09] Israel is taking, you being a Zionist, [04:10] do you think the steps are you say [04:12] they're more [04:13] >> I'll give you an example of what I mean. [04:15] Gaza is one of the most densely [04:16] populated places on earth. Um, certainly [04:19] in the Middle East, there's like two [04:21] million people living in a tiny little [04:22] strip of land. And Hamas launched a war [04:26] on October the 7th, kidnapped our people [04:28] and forced us to fight them in Gaza with [04:32] millions of people on top of them that [04:34] they were hiding under. Now, if this was [04:38] Assad the dog or pretty much any of our [04:41] neighbors, they would have just bombed [04:43] and bombed and bombed. Instead, we sent [04:45] millions of texts, millions of flyers, [04:47] created maps, and evacuated people to [04:50] save us. So, for instance, when we went [04:52] into Rafa, we evacuated 1.6 million [04:54] civilians so that we could attack Sinoir [04:57] and the Hamas brigades without harming [04:59] the civilians. We provided two billion [05:02] or facilitated the movement of two [05:03] billion kilograms of aid so that they [05:06] wouldn't starve. To this day, we provide [05:08] them with water. And so this is what I [05:10] mean is like no other nation's done this [05:13] in the history of warfare. [05:16] >> So is is the steps and I don't mean to [05:18] cut you off but is the steps of okay you [05:20] say they're hiding under where civilians [05:22] are. Okay. Can can you can you point and [05:25] say every hospital every school and [05:27] every um war crime that is committed [05:31] ties back to Hamas. Can you say that [05:32] every [05:33] >> I obviously can't say every single [05:36] building that's been destroyed as has a [05:38] direct link to Hamas. What I can say is [05:40] this [05:41] >> building. Yeah. But I'm saying this as [05:42] like [05:43] >> so I'll give you an example. Do do you [05:44] know who Muhammad Sinoir was? [05:47] >> No, I'm not. [05:48] >> It's fine. He was the brother of Ya [05:50] Sinoir. So Yiky Sinwa was the leader of [05:52] Hamas. He was um killed in Rafa after [05:55] we'd evacuated the civilians. He [05:57] remained with his fighters and was [05:59] killed. His brother then took over and [06:02] he was killed hiding under the European [06:05] hospital. They built a network of [06:06] tunnels. That's where we killed him. And [06:08] so [06:10] they turned hospitals like Al Shif, the [06:12] European hospital, etc. into military [06:15] installations. There were fierce gun [06:17] battles between Hamas fighters in the [06:20] hospital with Israeli fighters outside [06:23] the hospitals. And so I can't say every [06:26] now but I can show you dozens of videos [06:29] of different hospitals. I I was watching [06:32] there's a documentary called Naza [06:34] documentary which is a response you can [06:36] watch at naza documentary.com and there [06:39] you can see in a mosque in a masid [06:41] there's in they got the stairs and [06:43] there's a training room with camouflage [06:45] and weapons everywhere where Hamas had [06:47] been training in the masid. Hamas don't [06:50] have any military bases. You won't find [06:52] one military base in Gaza. They have [06:54] tunnels and command control centers [06:57] under buildings like um hospitals and [06:59] they use mosques and schools to store [07:01] weapons to train. They don't have any [07:03] bases in America. You have military [07:05] bases everywhere. You won't find one in [07:08] >> the right [07:09] >> does that give the right to destroy moss [07:11] and destroy hospitals? [07:13] >> The international [07:13] >> I mean again I've never I've never been [07:16] >> and I've never seen the situation. [07:18] What I see is just like videos and I see [07:20] I hear it from family sometimes, but I I [07:23] hear it's like it's pretty [Â __Â ] up [07:24] like on on [07:25] >> the That was horrible and and a lot of [07:28] innocent people have died. You're [07:29] absolutely. So Hamas record the Gaza [07:33] Ministry of Health says 74,000 people [07:35] have died. According to their [07:37] statistics, around 20,000 of them died [07:39] from natural causes and that remains and [07:42] Israel says they've killed 25,000 [07:45] militants. So that leaves 25,000 [07:47] civilians, which is non-combatants. [07:49] That's a high number. It's a tragic [07:51] number. But for three years, [07:53] >> you think they've only they've only [07:55] killed 25,000. [07:56] >> Non-combatants. Yeah. According to their [07:58] numbers total according that's according [08:00] to their numbers. [08:02] >> I got something to say. History aside, [08:04] who was there and who wasn't there? [08:06] Aside from that, all the videos you see [08:09] of the genocide being committed, like [08:11] actual video proof, like there's this [08:14] one girl uh that girl on like uh six or [08:19] six years old. She she got shot 300 [08:22] something times hindra. So, [08:25] >> how do you feel about that? [08:28] >> Irrespective of what happened, that's [08:30] tragic. I'm a father of girls that are [08:32] similar ages and it's a heartbreaking [08:33] story and that's that story itself that [08:37] story that that incident sorry not story [08:39] it's not a story that incident [08:41] >> has been is being investigated by Israel [08:46] literally now there's been a few cases [08:47] where they've said no we don't know [08:49] what's happened here and it's going to [08:50] be investigated [08:51] >> being instigated by Israel that's a [08:53] >> by Israel has got over a thousand of its [08:57] own soldiers [08:58] >> with current open investigations for [09:01] things that have happened in Gaza. I can [09:02] assure you Hamas haven't got one [09:04] investigation for any of the dogs that [09:06] crossed into Israel on October the 7th [09:08] and murdered babies, murdered children, [09:11] kidnapped Holocaust survivors. They're [09:12] not investigating those people for war [09:14] crimes or violations of their code of [09:17] conduct. This is a war and wars are [09:19] horrible and people do bad things in war [09:22] and an army can't be held accountable [09:24] for the actions of individuals. And if [09:27] any individual that's serving has done [09:29] wrong, I think they [09:30] >> Well, well, you you're right. They can [09:31] um and that's what they're doing. [09:33] They're then holding those people to [09:34] account. Um Israel [09:38] is does have a very strict rules of [09:40] engagement. Before you carry out a drone [09:42] strike, before you do anything, there's [09:44] layers of legal um checks you have to go [09:48] through. It's watch the documentary just [09:52] >> just to get perspective. Don't trust my [09:54] word. Well, there's a docu documentary [09:56] which you won't like, but it's to I I [09:58] watch Palestinian content every single [10:01] day to understand the other perspective. [10:04] Um, naza documentary.com. Naza [10:07] documentary.com. Watch it. It [10:10] corroborates everything I'm saying. I'm [10:12] not making this up. I've seen the videos [10:13] with my own just like I've seen the [10:15] heartbreaking videos that you've seen of [10:17] young children. And I don't want it to [10:19] sound like I'm cold and I don't [10:20] empathize and sympathize. I want the war [10:22] to stop. The reason I don't want there [10:24] to be a Palestinian state isn't because [10:26] I want to see dead Palestinians. It's [10:28] the opposite. I think the best way to [10:30] make sure that my children can live and [10:33] your children or your family's children [10:34] here can live. Is that if we're living [10:37] under one land under one state because I [10:39] think if we have two states, we're going [10:40] to kill each other. And I think if it's [10:42] a Palestinian state, I'm going to be [10:44] killed because the Jews have been chased [10:46] out of every m there used to be a [10:48] million Jews in the Muslim world. In the [10:50] Arab world, 850,000. Now there's 3,000. [10:53] The Jews were cleansed, chased out of [10:55] every Muslim nation [10:58] >> by Muslim nations. So what is that like? [11:00] Okay, if you're saying if you're kind of [11:01] trying to point a finger at at Muslim [11:03] nations, where does the Holocaust tie in [11:05] with that? That's a [11:07] >> So it depends on target. [11:09] >> So I don't mean this is a bit of a [11:10] disview. I don't know where your [11:11] friend's from, but Hajimin Al Husini, [11:14] who was the leader of the Palestinians [11:15] at the time of the Holocaust, was one of [11:18] the highest paid Nazis in Berlin. He [11:21] fled from the British, hid in Berlin, [11:23] and tried to set up death squads to kill [11:25] Jews in Kosovo and Bosnia. He was the [11:28] leader of the Palestinians, Hajim Al [11:30] Husini. So, not every Muslim was [11:32] involved in the Holocaust. But in Iraq, [11:34] they had the Far Hood. They chased the [11:36] Jews through the state streets and [11:38] slaughtered them where they found them, [11:40] inspired by the Nazis, subscribing to [11:43] Nazism. So, the Arabs were involved in [11:45] the Holocaust, but not to the scale of [11:47] the Germans, obviously. [11:49] So you said the solution is to uh [11:51] assimilate into Israeli culture and get [11:53] Israeli passport. [11:55] >> So I wouldn't say assimilate into [11:57] Israeli culture because I I want to see [11:59] Arabic what it sounds like by force. You [12:01] guys are so here here what I'm saying. [12:03] Every street sign in Israel if you've [12:05] ever been is in Hebrew and Arabic. And [12:09] so Arabic I want the culture of the [12:11] people to be preserved. I want the [12:12] mosques, the masids to be preserved. I [12:14] want the culture to be preserved. The [12:16] only thing I object to is a national [12:18] identity that was largely created in the [12:20] 60s. Crazy fact, did you know in 1964 [12:23] the Palestinian Charter, Article 24 says [12:26] that Palestine, the Palestinians have no [12:29] claim to the West Bank and Gaza. That [12:32] was the Palestinian Charter. They said [12:33] that was Jordan and that was Egypt. [12:36] Palestinian nationalism is a new thing. [12:39] It's not old. [12:40] >> So, a new thing? I don't I don't think [12:42] it's it's a new it's a new thing. But I [12:45] guess the question just to keep things [12:46] short is do you consider this a [12:48] genocide? [12:49] >> No. [12:50] >> No, I don't. You don't. The the death [12:52] the death rate is half the birth rate. [12:56] More people have been born than died. [12:58] And the majority of people that have [12:59] died have either died of natural causes [13:02] or were militants. [13:04] >> All right. What does genocide mean to [13:05] you? What [13:06] >> genocide was it's a legal term that was [13:08] um in the 1948 genocide convention. It [13:12] describes genocide as the intentional [13:15] killing of a people in part or whole. So [13:18] it's you are trying to destroy a people. [13:21] >> That's literally what's happening. There [13:23] has to be a certain number of people. [13:24] >> Here's my question. Here's my question. [13:26] If we're trying to destroy the [13:27] Palestinians in Gaza, why did we [13:30] evacuate 1.6 million people from Gaza? [13:32] Why not just bomb Gaza and kill them [13:34] all? [13:34] >> It was never evacuated though. You guys [13:36] you guys closed the [13:37] >> I mean Gaza Rafa doesn't exist anymore. [13:39] Rafa's not there. [13:41] You guys don't allow the people to [13:44] leave. You guys [13:45] >> So here's my first. It's not us that [13:47] doesn't let them leave. That's Cece. He [13:49] has the Egyptian border. And on October [13:50] the 8, he said no Palestinians coming [13:52] across unless they pay. He didn't say [13:54] this, but they got across if they paid a [13:56] $10,000 bribe per person. [13:58] >> You think they had $10,000? [14:00] >> Many of them did. I know people who [14:01] left, but no, most don't. And that's why [14:04] Cece's It's shame on Cece. There's [14:06] millions of refugees from Syria, from [14:08] Ukraine, from Afghanistan, from Iraq. No [14:11] refugees from Gaza because CC closed the [14:13] border. And I think that's a shame on [14:15] the Egyptians, their brothers. They [14:17] should have let the women and children [14:19] out. [14:21] >> So why was it okay? You got the Egypt [14:23] side, but why was it not okay for them [14:25] to to evacuate from any other side? You [14:27] guys kind of just you guys evacuated. I [14:28] think when you say evacuated, you you [14:30] pushed them to one side. [14:32] >> Israel. Israel would Israel would [14:35] happily evacuate the Palestinians. [14:37] Unfortunately, according to [14:39] international law, humanitarian law, [14:41] you're not allowed to to move them out [14:43] unless they have a place to go to. And [14:45] no nations are willing to accept the [14:46] refugees, which is even creative. [14:48] >> Why Why doesn't Israel allow them to [14:50] move to the rest? Why can't they? Why is [14:52] there checkpoints that they have to go [14:53] through? Why is [14:54] >> there's no checkpoints in Gaza? That's [14:55] in Judea and Samaria. That's the West [14:57] Bank. [14:57] >> There when you're leaving when to leave [14:59] Gaza, why is there so many? You're [15:00] saying, "Oh, Israel will be so bad." [15:02] >> To my knowledge, there's the Eros [15:04] crossing and the Rafa crossing. There's [15:06] not there's into Israel and then you go [15:08] into Egypt. There's not lots of [15:10] checkpoints out of Gaza. That's part of [15:11] >> No, not to Egypt. No, no, not to Egypt. [15:14] >> Yeah. So, there's I'm aware of two [15:16] crossings into Israel. [15:17] >> And you're saying, why doesn't Israel [15:19] let the Palestinians that just crossed [15:21] over on October the 7th and slaughtered [15:24] the biggest number of Jews since the [15:25] Holocaust, why don't they give them [15:27] >> How many How many How many How many were [15:28] slaughtered? How many were slaughtered? [15:29] Um 1,200 or [15:32] >> you know I mean it I don't think it was [15:34] 1200. [15:35] >> It was it was not it was not 1200. It [15:37] was not it was a concert. It was a [15:39] concert. [15:39] >> No that's just one. There was different [15:41] communities. They went to They went They [15:44] It was all the villages. They went as [15:46] far as [15:48] No, you're you're mistaken. That's fine. [15:50] I wouldn't expect you to. [15:53] >> Wait. How come? Um cuz I know a a lot of [15:57] Jewish people that that disagree with [16:01] like the whole idea of Zionism. [16:03] >> Yeah. [16:03] >> They like [16:04] >> Well, where are you from to begin? Where [16:06] where [16:06] >> I was I was born in England. I was born [16:08] in England in the UK. [16:10] >> And what's are you Jewish? [16:12] >> I'm I'm Orthodox Jew, also Zionist. [16:14] Yeah. Yeah. [16:16] >> So half the Jews in the world live in [16:18] Israel. So half the Jews by definition [16:21] are Zionist. And the overwhelming [16:22] majority outside of Israel are also [16:24] Zionist. All a Zionist is is somebody [16:26] who supports Israel's existence as a [16:28] Jewish state. So if they support a [16:30] two-state solution, no Zionist if they [16:32] support one state. [16:32] >> I don't want you to think that I don't I [16:34] don't want you to think that we have a [16:35] problem with Jews, right? There's no [16:37] there's no problem with Jews. We we [16:39] respect Jews same way we respect [16:40] Christianity and same way they respect [16:42] us. I think we just we just have we have [16:44] our disagreements with Zionists such as [16:46] such as yourself. And I don't mean no no [16:48] disrespect. [16:49] >> No, no, you've been very civil, but I [16:50] get you've got family in Gaza and I got [16:52] family here. So, [16:53] >> it's biased and there's a lot of things [16:55] that I don't agree with and and you can [16:56] say there's a lot of documents that [16:58] support this, this, and that and I can [16:59] point at the same thing and say there's [17:01] a lot of documents. [17:02] >> Let me flip it around to you cuz you [17:04] asked me what I think should happen. [17:06] What what do you think should happen? [17:07] What do what do you think should happen [17:09] in the land? Like how do we create [17:11] peace? Because you both seem quite [17:12] chill. I'm sure if you weren't Muslim or [17:15] Palestinian and I wasn't Jewish, we [17:17] would get on fine. We could have a a [17:19] coffee. We could have a good [17:20] conversation. But there's history here. [17:23] So what how do we move forward? What do [17:25] you see as the solution? The realistic [17:27] solution. [17:28] >> I feel like I feel like having a dual [17:30] state was fine. Um having a dual state [17:34] was fine where Arabs and Israel's were [17:36] Israel we're were sharing we're sharing [17:38] what is is today um Israel Palestine. [17:42] Um, I think that was fine. [17:44] >> Just remove the IDF soldiers because [17:45] there's like on the streets there's [17:47] literally IDF soldiers carrying guns. [17:49] You don't think that's a problem? [17:50] >> From from what I see from what I see, I [17:52] think I think that Israel pushed for an [17:54] Israeli state rather than a than a dual [17:56] state. And I think that was wrong. I [17:58] think um them having a a dual state was [18:01] was okay. And I think that's what led to [18:03] their creation of Hamas was a [18:05] retaliation for the Israeli push to [18:08] become an Israeli state. as you say [18:10] yourself um just the Israeli occ the [18:13] whole goal is just to make like [18:14] everybody Israeli at that point right [18:16] you say yeah they can have their own [18:18] culture and they can be Muslim and [18:19] everything but for you at the end of the [18:20] day they're Israeli and I think they [18:22] pushed for that and that as a reaction [18:24] that's what Hamas created and that's [18:26] where all these problems came from and [18:27] that's where this war started from had [18:29] it been a a fine I mean again I'm I'm [18:31] I'm speaking [18:33] >> are we saying the same thing but in a [18:35] different way by a dual state do you [18:36] mean a one state where Jews and Arabs [18:39] live under the same law. [18:42] >> No, I mean as in like [18:44] >> two states. So you got Palestine in the [18:46] West Bank and Gaza [18:47] >> and then Israel in the other part. [18:50] >> Well, yeah, it was it was more than [18:51] that. Palestine was more than that and [18:53] Israel it was it was it was pretty split [18:55] up evenly and then Israel started taking [18:56] more and more and more. [18:58] >> When when was it split up evenly? When [19:00] like at the beginning or [19:02] >> Yeah, at the beginning after after the [19:04] after the the war. You mean that the so [19:07] just for the technical term is the [19:08] armistice line, the green line. Um, [19:12] and so you think if there was a a state [19:16] called Palestine in the West Bank and [19:17] Gaza that that would be the end of the [19:19] conflict, [19:20] >> not just not just in Gaza and the West [19:22] Bank because I think Palestine is more [19:24] than that. [19:24] >> So that's what I'm trying to understand. [19:26] Is it like from the river to the sea is [19:28] Palestine? [19:30] >> Whatever it was. [19:32] >> I mean it it never was. That's the the [19:34] the challenge you have. There was never [19:35] an Arab country called Palestine. That's [19:38] the challenge. [19:39] >> There was never an Arab. [19:40] >> No, it used to So it used to be the [19:43] Ottoman Empire. [19:45] >> Yeah. And then but they classified as [19:47] Palestine, did they not? [19:48] >> No. No. They they chopped into vile [19:50] little sections. So you had like the [19:52] Sanjac of [19:54] >> But I mean if you look at a map, [19:56] >> right? [19:57] >> No. So the the map that you see today [19:59] was drawn the map that you see today was [20:00] drawn by Europeans. [20:03] Correct me if I'm wrong, but the oldest [20:05] Bible found there was a the the outline [20:10] of like it said Palestine on the [20:13] >> you're you're you're wrong. So what [20:16] you're getting confused with is the [20:17] Europe. So the oldest Bibles are like [20:19] the Dead Sea Scrolls and there's no [20:21] pictures. There's just words and they're [20:22] in Hebrew, the language of the Jews. Um [20:24] you're talking about European maps. So [20:26] the term Palestine was just very quick [20:28] history lesson. [20:30] The Palishim were the Philistines, the [20:33] ancient enemies of the Jews. They sailed [20:35] across the Aian Sea and they like they [20:39] were Greeks and they set up a little [20:41] country or Pentopoulos in Gaza, Ashcolon [20:43] Ashto, the south of Israel. They had [20:45] nothing to do with the modern day Arabs. [20:47] When the Romans crushed the Jewish [20:49] rebellion two year 2,000 years ago, the [20:52] Romans to humiliate the Jews renamed it [20:54] after our old enemies Palestina. [20:58] And so the Europeans preserved that name [21:00] and they called the region Palestine or [21:03] the Holy Land. Arabs tend to call it [21:05] Belladel Shem. So southern Syria and it [21:09] was the term Philistine was used [21:11] occasionally but that was more of a [21:13] European term and it comes from a Hebrew [21:16] term and polish literally translates to [21:18] invaders. They were foreigners. It's who [21:20] Dawood fought. Dawoud fought the [21:22] Philistines. They weren't Arabs. [21:23] >> You seem you seem very educated on what [21:25] you're speaking to. And again, the only [21:27] the only thing I have is that um that I [21:30] have family there and that my [21:31] grandparents were there. So, I'm not as [21:32] educated as you are. But at the end of [21:34] the day, respectfully, I'm gonna [21:35] disagree with you. Even even if like [21:37] what you say is true, I think there's a [21:39] lot of things that that maybe that you [21:41] haven't looked at yet that maybe I know. [21:44] All right. And you're over here like [21:45] we're speaking about and you're telling [21:47] me a bunch of information that I don't [21:48] know. [21:48] >> Yeah. [21:49] >> But again, at the end of the day, like [21:50] respectfully, I'm going just with you. [21:52] >> I know a lot. No, not to sound arrogant [21:54] cuz I read about this every single day. [21:56] What I don't know is your family's lived [21:58] experience and that's legitimate and [22:00] that's real. My thing is I'm sorry. Go [22:02] on. [22:03] >> Have you been Oh, sorry. Have you been [22:04] to like Israel? [22:06] >> So, I live in Israel. So, yeah. Yeah. [22:08] >> Live in Israel. [22:08] >> If you were if you were put in like [22:10] let's say let's say a Palestinian like [22:12] like family like let's say you were put [22:14] in Gaza, right? [22:16] >> What what would you do in that in that [22:18] situation? Let's say you were the [22:19] Zionist you are the same Jew that you [22:21] are. I'll give you I'll give you the [22:23] most inspirational story of the most [22:26] inspirational man that I know who's he's [22:28] a Palestinian. When he was 17 years old, [22:30] he threw a grenade at the ADF. He got [22:32] thrown in jail. And when he was in jail, [22:35] he decided he was going to research his [22:36] enemies. He wanted to research the big [22:38] lie. The big lie that caused his people [22:41] to lose what he believed was his [22:43] country. And that was the Holocaust. He [22:45] believed the Holocaust was a lie. And [22:47] when he started reading about the [22:49] Holocaust, he realized it was real. And [22:51] the Jews had been to Johannam. The Jews [22:52] had been to hell. The Jews had been [22:54] persecuted. And he began to sympathize [22:56] and empathize with us. And when he was [22:59] released from prison, he went and [23:01] studied at university. And he studied [23:04] the Holocaust. This is the Palestinian [23:06] terrorist. Studies the Holocaust. Comes [23:09] back to Israel, back to East Jerusalem, [23:11] though. Why? Why? [23:12] >> Because he threw a grenade at the ADF. [23:14] And he [23:15] >> so so if a if a if a if a Jew or like [23:18] let's say [23:18] >> if someone tries anyway let me land the [23:21] point because the point isn't to have a [23:22] go at him and so he goes back to Israel [23:25] East Jerusalem Palestine as you'd call [23:28] it finds a woman marries her has a girl [23:30] and a soldier shoots his girl in the [23:32] back and kills her. It was a time where [23:35] Israel investigates like I was saying is [23:37] happening in Gaza. The state said [23:39] there's no way this girl should have [23:40] died. It's tragic. Here's some [23:43] compensation. But no money can atone or [23:46] make up for the loss of a daughter. [23:50] If that was me, I would have joined the [23:52] mukawa. I would have joined the [23:54] resistance. [23:55] He devoted his life. He devoted his life [23:58] to making peace with Israelis. And to [24:00] this day, he travels the world telling [24:03] people of what he's lost in the hope [24:06] that no one else will suffer what he [24:10] suffered. And so if I were you, to [24:12] answer your question, if I was in Gaza, [24:14] I hope I'd react like him and not join [24:18] the MA, not join the the resistance, I'd [24:21] hope I'd be a voice of peace, but I [24:22] don't know. I don't know because I've [24:24] not walked in those shoes. I have a the [24:26] closest I've been to Gaza is going and [24:28] seeing the distribution sites of aid in [24:30] Gaza a couple of years ago. [24:31] >> It takes it takes a lot for somebody to [24:33] not join the resistance like you would [24:35] say. I think I think me I mean me even [24:37] if you for example I can say I can say [24:40] not with certainty but I can say I'd be [24:42] if your daughter was killed right she [24:44] was shot in the back or if you even look [24:45] at Henra and shot [24:48] murdered murdered there's no other way [24:50] to put it I don't think I don't I think [24:52] it would be very hard not to join the [24:53] resistance [24:54] >> and and so so that's what I'm saying you [24:56] asked me what I do and I said I'd hope [24:58] I'd be a voice for peace rather than war [25:00] but I don't know I [25:01] >> is what you think right now being a [25:03] voice for for peace [25:04] >> so I think I'm a voice for peace, but I [25:06] think I'm a voice for realistic peace. [25:08] Israel is the most powerful military in [25:10] the Middle East. It's not going [25:11] anywhere. The Palestinians have lost [25:13] every Sorry. Go on. [25:15] >> You think if the US never helped you [25:18] guys, you would you would be where [25:19] you're at right now? [25:20] >> So, in 1948, the US had an arms embargo [25:23] on us. The British armed the Arabs. The [25:25] Arab Legion was manned by British [25:27] soldiers, British officers and Israel [25:31] who at that point a collection of [25:33] refugees from the Muslim world and the [25:34] Holocaust defeated the five most [25:37] powerful Arab armies on the planet. That [25:40] was without America that was fighting [25:41] the British and today we are far more [25:45] powerful than we were there. So yes, [25:47] America is not the reason we're here. [25:48] I'm a religious man so I believe it's [25:50] the will of Allah subhana wa ta'ala. But [25:53] that's not a good argument because [25:55] people believe different things. But if [25:58] you look at the facts on the ground, [25:59] there's 2 billion Muslims and 7 million [26:01] Jews. And we've [26:05] been victorious in every single battle. [26:07] All of the leaders of our enemies are [26:09] dead. Um, [26:12] and so I'm being realist. Israel's not [26:14] going anywhere. Israel's incredibly [26:16] powerful. I want the Palestinians to [26:19] thrive. They're not going to thrive if [26:21] they continue down this path of trying [26:23] to destroy Israel, which is what Hamas [26:25] were trying to do on October the 7th. [26:28] >> Before the Holocaust, do you think [26:31] Zionism existed? [26:33] >> It did exist before the Holocaust. Yeah. [26:34] Yeah. [26:38] Um, Zionism has existed in many [26:40] different forms, but the modern [26:41] political Zionist movement was the back [26:43] end of the 19th century. the Arabs [26:46] living in what you would call Palestine, [26:48] British mandatory Palestine, were [26:51] slaughtering the Jews in the land before [26:53] the Holocaust. So in 1929, the ancient [26:56] Jewish community of Hebrron was [26:58] massacred by Arabs. In 1920, Hajiman Al [27:02] Husini led a massacre against the Jews [27:04] in Jerusalem. In 1834, the Jews of Saf [27:08] Safed were massacred. So this is not a [27:10] new conflict. Zionism is just the latest [27:13] expression of Jews trying to [27:17] reestablish themselves in our ancestral [27:20] homeland. [27:21] >> Backed by strong ideas though. Very very [27:23] >> very strong ideas. I agree. I agree. [27:24] Both religious and secular ideas. I [27:26] agree. Very strong ideas. [27:28] >> Very strong and very I think in inhuman [27:30] ideas too. [27:31] >> I don't think inhuman but obviously [27:33] we're on different sides here. So [27:35] >> definitely. Yeah. Definitely. I mean I [27:37] keep it respectful. I see I like how you [27:39] come across as as more respectful. You [27:41] definitely you don't you don't speak [27:42] over. You don't seem arrogant and I do [27:44] appreciate that. I haven't let I haven't [27:46] met any Zionist like that. Um so I like [27:48] the fact that you're spreading peace [27:49] again respectfully. I'm just not going [27:51] to agree with your ideas at the end of [27:52] the day and that's okay. We can have our [27:54] disagreements [27:54] >> and truthfully our agreements are much [27:56] easier because you're in America. I've [27:58] just got to convince your cousins and [27:59] Janine that my way is the way forward [28:01] and then inshallah we get peace. [28:03] >> So no I I don't agree with I don't agree [28:05] with your ideas. No, I'm saying you I'm [28:07] saying No, I'm saying it does for me. It [28:09] doesn't matter that you disagree because [28:11] you're not in the land. But your cousins [28:12] who live here, I need to convince them [28:15] to live in peace with me because they're [28:17] the ones who are going to meet my [28:19] children on the battlefield, [28:21] >> right? What they go through, it's hard [28:23] for them to to look at it like that, [28:24] right? I mean, if their families have [28:26] been kicked out, and again, like you [28:28] said, like you had a daughter that was [28:29] murdered, I think it'd be very hard to [28:31] to look at it with that way. But I mean, [28:32] just to keep this this short sake, um to [28:35] keep everything short, I mean, I don't [28:37] dis I don't agree with you, to be [28:39] honest. You're a Zionist at the end of [28:41] the day, which is nothing wrong with [28:43] that. Everybody has their ideas. We're [28:44] just going to have our disagreements. Um [28:47] I think the way you go about it is right [28:48] though. You're not very like arrogant [28:50] and you let people speak up. So, so I [28:54] like that. Um and you seem like very [28:56] well educated. Again, I'm not as well [28:57] educated to sit here and and rebuttal [29:00] you on everything. I've got bookshelves [29:02] filled with books hundreds of years old. [29:04] >> I don't and that's shame on me cuz I I [29:06] should do better. But again, at the end [29:07] of the day, I'm just respectfully. I'm [29:09] not going to disagree. Even if I'm not [29:10] as educated, I'm not I'm not going to [29:11] disagree or I'm not going to agree with [29:12] you. I'm sorry. [29:15] >> So, yeah. But I mean, [29:17] >> yeah, man. [29:18] >> Well, what I would end with then is may [29:20] Allah subhana wa tala guide us in the [29:23] straight path and to peace in [29:26] have a good one, man. You too, bro.
