Transcript [00:00] New York is hosting Iran's president [00:02] this week. Yet, the political drama is [00:05] focused on whether Israel's prime [00:07] minister can walk into the United [00:08] Nations and defend his country without [00:11] being treated like a criminal. Shalom [00:13] from Israel. I'm Kan Napali with the [00:16] latest update from the Middle East. [00:35] If you want to understand the moral [00:37] confusion surrounding Israel right now, [00:40] look at what's happening in New York [00:41] City. The UN General Assembly has [00:44] opened. Nearly 200 delegations are in [00:47] the city. Security is intense. Streets [00:49] are closed. Leaders are meeting behind [00:51] closed doors. And in the middle of it, [00:54] Iran's foreign minister has arrived in [00:56] New York with Iran's president coming as [01:00] well. The regime that funds terrorism, [01:04] backs the youth, and has made the [01:06] destruction of Israel part of its [01:07] ideology is in New York for the United [01:11] Nations. Now, many of you are probably [01:14] asking, how is this allowed? Why are [01:16] they even there? I wish that they were [01:19] not there, but there is an explanation [01:21] to that. The United Nations permitted a [01:23] smaller Iranian delegation to attend [01:25] because as the host country of the UN, [01:28] it has obligations to allow delegations [01:32] access. But what he did it it did place [01:36] the the delegation under travel [01:37] restrictions and restrictions on luxury [01:40] purchases. I don't know if it's standard [01:43] or it's just specifically for the regime [01:45] delegation from Iran. Uh the restriction [01:48] on the luxury purchases, but that's [01:50] interesting. So that's the legal [01:53] explanation. But from a political [01:55] standpoint, the image is still very [01:58] clear. Iran, the one that launched [02:01] attacks all across the Middle East, [02:03] including at Mecca with back with youth [02:07] backed missiles, uh that is behind [02:09] attacks in Europe, planned attacks in [02:11] Australia, [02:13] is in the room. It's in New York City [02:15] and Israel is the country being [02:18] lectured. President Trump used his UN [02:21] speech to draw the line clearly, at [02:23] least in in my opinion. [02:25] >> But I have a big decision to make. [02:28] Will a deal be made with Iran that lets [02:32] them rebuild and create a far greater [02:35] country than it ever was before? Maybe [02:39] one of the greatest in the Middle East [02:40] or even the world. [02:43] Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic [02:47] and do it quickly, never giving them a [02:49] chance to kill and destroy people and [02:52] countries again? Do I drive them into [02:55] hell with no chance of survival and no [02:58] hope of future greatness or generations? [03:02] He said that he would never allow Iran [03:04] to have a nuclear weapon. He also said [03:07] there are continuing contacts with Iran [03:11] and that he believes a settlement can [03:13] eventually be reached. [03:17] I know it sounds confusing. My view on [03:20] this is very simple. Talk if talking [03:22] serves security. Negotiate if [03:25] negotiation creates a real result. But [03:29] never confuse dialogue with safety. [03:32] Israel has lived through too many rounds [03:34] of international optimism about Iran. [03:37] Every time we hear maybe this time they [03:39] have changed, the regime uses the time [03:42] to strengthen itself, arm its proxies, [03:45] or improve its leverage. Iranian leaders [03:48] do not need to fire a missile directly [03:51] at Israel every day to threaten Israel. [03:54] They have built a network designed to [03:56] surround us. Bal in Lebanon, Kamas and [03:59] Palestin Palestinian Islamic Jihad in [04:01] Gaza, the youth is in Yemen, militias in [04:03] Iraq and Syria. And I believe President [04:06] Trump understands this very well, but he [04:09] also understands that the American [04:11] public is not in favor of conflict with [04:13] Iran right now because of the rise in [04:15] fuel prices. Add to that the midterm [04:17] elections that are around the corner. [04:19] Trump doesn't want to risk losing his [04:23] grip on power and therefore he will [04:26] probably let only talks to at least show [04:29] that he believes any word that's coming [04:31] out of this regime delegation, the [04:35] current regime in Iran. Um, but here's [04:38] the thing, it's only smart if you have [04:42] something else up your sleeve. And I [04:45] think that Trump is smart. He understand [04:48] he he doesn't need to understand he has [04:51] experience with this that every time the [04:53] United States negotiated with Iran they [04:55] said one thing in English and then acted [04:58] very differently in Persian. So I think [05:01] that they know that talks will not [05:04] really produce anything other than [05:06] buying time and I think that the time [05:08] that the US wants to buy is after the [05:12] midterm elections but then of course [05:14] things can change because who knows how [05:16] the balance of power is going to look [05:18] like in the US. I think that Israel [05:21] needs to understand from this that it's [05:23] on its own and we should not count on [05:26] anybody else other than ourselves when [05:29] it comes to safeguarding our security [05:31] and also acting against Iran because [05:34] also mind you um there is now a little [05:37] bit of drama with Saudi Arabia that came [05:40] under attack by the by the youth. Saudi [05:43] Arabia asked Trump for help. Trump said, [05:45] "Hey, we put America first. You're on [05:48] your own." basically. Um, and they kind [05:51] of did the same thing to Israel when uh [05:53] they struck this deal with the youth. [05:56] The youth told uh the Trump [05:58] administration that they will stop [06:01] targeting US ships in the Red Sea or [06:05] anything uh related to the US, but they [06:10] did not include Israel in this. And when [06:12] Israel turned to the US, the US said [06:14] that look, we serve our part and our [06:18] country. And Israel uh Israel managed to [06:22] defend itself very well. So the reason [06:24] I'm saying this is we have done this in [06:26] the past and we should know how to do [06:28] this now with Iran. With that being [06:31] said, let's now turn to our favorite guy [06:35] in New York City, the most pro-Israel [06:37] man you'll ever meet, beloved Zoran [06:40] Mdani. I'm joking. Of course, Mayor [06:42] Zoran Amdani is responsible for helping [06:45] lead the city through UN General [06:47] Assembly security. In the official [06:50] security briefing, he said there were no [06:52] known specific or credible threats to [06:55] the UN or the city, those security would [06:58] be elevated as normal precaution. So [07:02] that's what they said in the official [07:04] briefing. But we all remember how Amdani [07:07] had a very strong opinion about [07:09] arresting Netanyahu and bringing him [07:11] before court in the H. He published a [07:14] whole video dedicated just to that. But [07:16] it seems like the same mayor Mamani is [07:21] not worried at all about the president [07:23] of of Iran together with the Iranian [07:25] delegation being present in New York [07:27] City. He did not make any remarks about [07:30] arresting them or about the 40,000 [07:33] Iranian people killed in protest for [07:36] freedom in Iran and how the regime cut [07:39] the internet to hide the truth from the [07:40] world. Manny is not worried at all about [07:43] that. He didn't make a video about [07:45] Iranianbacked missiles fired at Mecca, [07:48] the most important city to Sunni [07:50] Muslims. That's because he is a [07:53] hypocrite. You cannot claim to care [07:55] about peace, cla claim to care about [07:58] civilians, claim to care about an [08:00] international law and then treat the [08:02] Iranian regime as if it's just another [08:04] normal government with a normal foreign [08:06] minister in town for a conference. The [08:09] Iranian regime has openly threatened [08:12] Israel. It also called America the big [08:15] Satan. It has armed terror organizations [08:18] across the region that also threaten and [08:21] target US troops. And the UN Security [08:24] Council itself condemned Iranian attacks [08:27] this year against multiple Middle [08:29] Eastern states and called for an end to [08:32] threats against maritime trade and [08:34] support for proxy groups. So the [08:37] question is not whether Iran deserves a [08:40] seat at the UN under international [08:42] agreements. That is a separate legal [08:44] legal issue. The question is why the [08:46] loudest moral anger at the UN is and at [08:50] Israel, the country defending its [08:52] citizens rather than the regime that [08:54] finances the terror network threatening [08:57] those citizens. [09:00] And then we have Lula, the Lula meeting. [09:03] Brazilian President Lula met Dani in New [09:07] York before the general debate opened. [09:10] two socialist friends who share in [09:13] common the hate for capitalism and free [09:15] markets. Lula then used his general [09:18] assembly platform to accuse the Netanyao [09:22] government of genocide in Gaza. King [09:24] Abdullah of Jordan went beyond [09:26] criticism. He spoke about sanctions, [09:29] asset freezes, embargos, and diplomatic [09:31] isolation as possible tools against [09:34] Israel. [09:36] I'll just have to quickly add here that [09:39] it looks like the king of Jordan forgets [09:41] that he and his country is getting every [09:44] year 50 million cubic meters of water [09:47] from Israel as part of the peace [09:48] agreement. Perhaps we should stop giving [09:50] Jordan water for his behavior. Maybe [09:53] then he will learn how to behave. [09:55] Turkey's Erdogan used the most [09:57] outrageous language of all, calling Gaza [10:00] a concentration camp and accusing Israel [10:03] of a genocidal mindset. Now, [10:08] if you ask me, you know, the first [10:11] thought would be to say, don't pay [10:13] attention to to these leaders. But I [10:15] think these leaders do deserve attention [10:17] because they are not random activists [10:19] shouting outside the UN gates. They are [10:22] presidents and kings using their [10:24] national platforms [10:27] to push hatred against Israel rather [10:29] than to push their countries. Like think [10:31] how insane it is that these world [10:34] leaders [10:36] use the platform of the UN to instead of [10:40] you know glorify their countries or talk [10:42] about what their country is contributing [10:44] to the world just spread hate against [10:47] the one and only Jewish state just let [10:50] that sit with you for a second you know [10:52] but their speeches also reveal the [10:54] weakness of their argument actually [10:56] because they speak about Gaza while [10:58] kamas disappears from their story They [11:00] speak about about humanitarian suffering [11:03] while barely confronting the group that [11:05] started the war, took hostages, fired [11:08] from civilian areas, and has every [11:10] interest in keeping the war alive. They [11:13] speak about international law while [11:15] Iran's proxies terrorize the region. and [11:18] they demand Israel's isolation while [11:21] ignoring the fact that Israel is the [11:22] only country in this conflict being [11:24] asked to accept a terror army next door [11:28] and call it peace. Now the UN uh [11:32] secretary general Antonio Gutirez also [11:35] made comments. Guterist condemned [11:37] Kamas's October 7 attacks as [11:40] abhorrent terror attacks. Okay, good. [11:43] That must be said every time. But then [11:46] he called the war that followed an [11:48] onslaught on Palestinians and said [11:51] Israel's conduct in Judea and Samaria [11:54] was raising the spectre of ethnic [11:57] cleansing. [11:59] You cannot speak honestly about Gaza [12:01] without speaking honestly about October [12:03] 7 and Kamas. Israel did not invade Gaza [12:06] to conquer it for fun. Israel went for [12:09] war because kamas crossed into Israeli [12:11] communities, murdered families, [12:13] kidnapped civilians, and announced it [12:16] wanted to do it again. That does not [12:19] mean every military decision is beyond [12:21] criticism. Democracies must examine [12:23] themselves. Israel does. I don't know [12:25] the last time that our enemies examined [12:28] their actions and whether or not it [12:30] followed international law. Actually, [12:32] would be a comedy show. But it does mean [12:35] there is no moral equivalence between a [12:37] democracy trying to dismantle a terror [12:39] army and that terror army which [12:42] deliberately targets civilians. The UN's [12:45] own humanitarian reporting reflects the [12:48] complexity. Gaza has real humanitarian [12:51] needs and access challenges, but [12:53] supplies and commercial truckloads have [12:55] continued to enter from Israel. The [12:59] honest debate is how to get aid to [13:01] civilians while keeping kamas from [13:03] exploiting it. It is not the lazy lie [13:06] that Israel simply blocks all aid and [13:08] wants civilians to suffer. And that [13:10] brings us to the to the expected [13:14] Netanyahu's appearance at the UN on [13:16] Thursday. Netanyahu said he's coming to [13:19] tell the truth about Israel's soldiers [13:21] and answer Mamani's attacks. [13:24] >> Shame on you, Mr. Mandani. Shame on you [13:27] for supporting the Hamas terrorist [13:29] monsters who butchered our people. Shame [13:31] on you for inciting riots against New [13:33] York Jews. I'm coming to the UN. I'm [13:36] going to tell the truth about our heroic [13:38] soldiers. And I'm going to tell the [13:40] truth about you. [13:43] There are planned protests and big [13:46] security arrangements, but New York [13:48] officials say there is, like I said, [13:50] there is no known specific credible [13:52] threat to the general assembly or to the [13:54] city or a specific target against [13:57] Netanyahu. Some people want Netanyahu's [13:59] trip to the UN to look like Israel is [14:02] isolated. I see something else. I see an [14:06] Israeli prime minister walking into the [14:08] most hostile international room in the [14:10] world after the worst massacre of Jews [14:13] since the Holocaust to say that Israel [14:16] will not surrender to a lie. And that [14:19] matters. Israel is not asking the world [14:21] for permission to exist. Israel is [14:23] reminding the world of something it has [14:26] forgotten. A Jewish state has the same [14:29] right to defend itself as every other [14:32] nation. And if world leaders walk out on [14:35] Israel's prime minister, they don't show [14:37] that Israel is isolated. They just prove [14:40] that the world stop caring about truth. [14:44] It doesn't even want to hear it. So [14:46] watch what happens in New York this [14:47] week. Listen to who mentions Kamas. [14:49] Listen to who mentions the hostages. [14:51] Listen to who condemns Iran's regional [14:54] terror machine. and listen to who has a [14:58] lot to say about Israel but almost [15:00] nothing to say about the people who [15:02] started this war. That will tell you [15:05] everything. Thank you so much for [15:06] joining this report. Don't forget to [15:08] subscribe to stay connected to the [15:10] truth. I will keep
