But arriving in Israel is only the beginning. For the children of these newly arrived families, a completely new life is waiting—a new language, new classmates, and for many, their first year in an Israeli school. This August, Beit Hallel Congregation is preparing to help 350 children from new Jewish immigrant families with quality backpacks, essential school supplies, and educational resources for the coming school year.
