Transcript [00:10] Shalom and good afternoon from the [00:12] Jezrael Valley from Connect here in [00:15] Israel. I'm Air Salati and welcome to [00:19] one more Q&A session with Pastor Barry [00:22] Stagner and moderated by Pastor Mike [00:24] Olay. Gentlemen, shalom and good morning [00:28] to you on the other side of the globe. [00:32] >> Shalom. [00:33] >> Shalom. Good morning or evening. [00:36] >> Yeah, it's evening over here. I mean [00:38] late afternoon and uh a lot of a lot of [00:42] things are happening uh here in our [00:45] little neighborhood but also on your [00:47] end. Um but uh hey we're going to talk [00:52] about Middle East and beyond uh this [00:56] coming Wednesday. Thank you for [00:58] watching, for the views, for sharing, [01:01] for helping us to uh spread the news. [01:06] Today we want to answer more questions. [01:10] However, this is a very unique one. [01:12] We're not collecting live questions as [01:15] we speak, but we are fulfilling our [01:17] promise to the attendees of our [01:21] conference in Perth, Australia. [01:23] is we couldn't really uh answer their [01:28] questions during the conference. We had [01:30] limited time and we we preferred to [01:33] spend the time that is left after the [01:35] teachings to meet and greet and take [01:38] photos with people, shake their hands, [01:39] thank them personally, sign their books [01:42] and all of that. So this one we have [01:45] already the questions. you will love [01:48] them and I hope that you will also be [01:51] very attentive to the qu to the answers [01:53] themselves as they are super important [01:56] as well. Uh Pastor Barry, would you do [01:59] us the honor and start with a prayer [02:01] before we let Pastor Mike uh kick off [02:05] this Q&A? [02:06] >> Absolutely. And Father, we are so [02:09] grateful that we can look to you for [02:10] answers to all the questions of life. [02:13] Thank you that you've given us all [02:14] things pertaining to life and godliness. [02:17] And Lord, we pray that you would direct [02:18] our conversation, inspire the answers [02:21] that are given, and equip the saints for [02:23] the work of ministry through our time [02:25] together today. And we ask this in Jesus [02:27] name. Amen. [02:31] >> Amen. [02:31] >> Amen. Amen. [02:32] >> Pastor Mike. [02:33] >> Amen. Yep. Let's jump straight in. Let's [02:36] put the first question. Now, since these [02:38] were questions that were generally uh [02:40] pulled in from Perth, Australia, we [02:43] don't have first names and uh normally [02:45] our practice is is that when we're live [02:47] and we do live questions that we have [02:48] the name, but this is not uh live [02:50] questions. This is Perth. And so, Amir, [02:53] here is a question for you. Do you think [02:57] Israel will get back involved in the war [03:00] against Iran and try to destroy their [03:03] nuclear program? Will Israel ever get [03:06] total victory over its enemies, Iran and [03:08] all its proxies prior to the Ezekiel 38 [03:12] and 39 war? [03:16] Well, I'm very glad that they added the [03:18] last portion to that question because it [03:22] actually answers the question since the [03:25] Ezekiel war indicates or at least the uh [03:30] Ezekiel account indicates that Persia is [03:33] part of the coalition against Israel. [03:37] obviously [03:38] a a total victory in a shape of the [03:41] collapse of the regime, the replacing of [03:44] the regime, a pro-Israel regime uh [03:47] installed in in in in uh Iran. That will [03:51] not happen. Now, of course, there is a [03:54] good chance that the nuclear program [03:55] will be dismantled. There's also a good [03:58] chance that the straight of Hermuz is [04:00] going to be somehow not fully controlled [04:04] by Iran. But remember the Ezekiel [04:09] account is explicitly [04:12] mentioning countries like Russia, Turkey [04:15] and Iran, Libya and Sudan. And that [04:19] tells me that no matter what is going to [04:22] happen at the end of this war, somebody [04:24] will wait for the revenge in the next [04:27] round, [04:28] not alone, but coming in a as a part of [04:32] an attacking coalition. revenge in in [04:36] >> correct. So So now you you're going to [04:38] have to ask yourself, okay, define total [04:42] victory. If total victory is just [04:45] eliminating this the nuclear program, [04:48] maybe. If total victory is weakening the [04:51] regime, maybe. But if total victory [04:54] means the changing of the regime with a [04:59] friendly one to Israel, friendly one to [05:01] America, that's I believe not going to [05:03] happen. Uh we can already see that um [05:07] even the US administration admits that [05:11] this what they say for a few months [05:14] already this is a new regime. Remember [05:17] they they kind of the president said [05:20] this is not the old one. Although it is [05:22] the old one, let's face it, all heads of [05:25] >> ideology, [05:27] >> all heads of branches are still the same [05:29] people. The head of the judicial branch, [05:31] the head of the parliament, and the [05:34] president, they're all still in power. [05:36] The only person that is gone that is [05:38] really truly remarkable departure is the [05:42] spiritual uh supreme leader. And then [05:45] now they're saying his son is instead of [05:47] him. So that's the only big change in in [05:49] Iran. So the Iranians now, I'm not [05:53] talking about the people, but the [05:54] regime, it's weak. It's bleeding, [05:58] >> and it's seeking for re and it's seeking [06:00] for a revenge. And by the way, revenge [06:03] for them is far more important than the [06:07] well-being of their own people. We've [06:09] seen that before. [06:10] >> The cult the cult takes over their [06:11] policy and uh people suffer. That's sad. [06:14] So sad. Absolutely. Remember, it's a [06:17] it's and that's why, by the way, they [06:20] will not just try to hurt America and [06:24] Israel, but they want to hurt the [06:27] president, [06:28] his wife, his daughter, his son. I mean, [06:33] if you read my if you read my telegram [06:36] today, [06:37] >> you could see that official Iranian [06:39] television put a bounty of $10 million [06:43] on Baron Trump. I mean, [06:46] >> that's what they say on their [06:48] >> below the belt. We say in English, [06:50] that's hitting below the belt. [06:52] >> Correct. And we already know that there [06:54] was a plot to kill Ivanka. We know that [06:57] they've attempted several times to take [06:59] the president's life. Um, and and by the [07:02] way, they never hid that. They never [07:05] said no about that. I mean, they I heard [07:08] at least twice [07:10] from the from a podium [07:14] uh that the IRGC leaders [07:19] explicitly mentioned the need and the [07:22] duty to remove Trump. um and uh by doing [07:28] so to avenge General Kasimsulmani. [07:32] They're still holding that against him. [07:33] That happened in 2020 in January of [07:37] 2020. So you can imagine [07:40] it's been six years, six and a half [07:42] years that they have the urge to get rid [07:47] of President Trump. And especially now, [07:51] especially now in light of the situation [07:54] >> uh right now, even more so they want to [07:57] do it. So if if it's all about the [08:01] nuclear program, there's a good chance [08:03] that yes, it is [08:07] I would say uh um probably [08:11] um diffused or I wouldn't say totally [08:15] dismantled, but neutralized. Okay. [08:18] >> Mhm. But again, if total victory is [08:21] changing the regime, [08:24] no. Unfortunately, the Ezekiel account [08:27] is telling us exactly the opposite. [08:30] >> Yeah. I mean, you got to admit that uh [08:31] they were in a sense smart how they [08:33] originally engineered this government in [08:36] the 70s. Kind of like the genius of our [08:38] government, how we have the three [08:39] branches and they've done uh a much more [08:43] um diabolical way of entrenching the [08:46] country with a cult mentality. So yeah, [08:49] it's uh very very very sad. Pastor [08:52] Barry, [08:53] this is a question related and uh I know [08:56] how you like the tough ones. So here we [08:59] go. Pastor Barry, let's throw this up on [09:02] the screen there. Connect team, um our [09:04] current government does a lot of things [09:07] that are against Christian values. For [09:09] example, abortions, Israel, pro [09:12] Palestine. Is it wrong to feel really [09:14] angry about this? And I want to add [09:17] something very critical. Amir just [09:19] talked about Iran and their cult-like [09:21] mentality. [09:23] Over here you have socialist Democrats [09:27] that are diametrically opposed to what [09:29] this regime is doing in terms of their [09:31] policy of morality and yet they are [09:34] united in this bizarre [09:38] front. It's like they feed off of each [09:40] other. Um [09:43] how are we to feel about this? How as [09:46] believers do we relate to a two-headed [09:49] beast that fight each other until there [09:51] is some unifying factor? Can you unpack [09:54] all of this for us? [09:57] Yeah, Mike, it is uh a very confusing [10:00] time that we live in to be sure. You've [10:02] got so many people on both sides of the [10:04] aisle that talk out of both sides of [10:05] their mouth. And again, you know, as you [10:07] mentioned, the circumstance dictates the [10:10] position or policy uh to a degree. And [10:13] you know, when we see these things and [10:16] especially with the Iranian issue, I [10:19] think all of us um you know, have some [10:22] righteous indignation within us as we [10:24] even look at our own country and the [10:26] things you just mentioned. I think [10:28] there's a place for that. I think if we [10:29] look at, you know, Jesus when he came to [10:32] his father's house and had been made [10:34] into a den of thieves, he was mad and uh [10:37] he took action. There's no question [10:39] about it, you know, but he took action [10:41] to restore what God had ordained. And it [10:44] wasn't, you know, the this just [10:47] knee-jerk kind of thing that, you know, [10:49] was a temper tantrum. So I think if we [10:52] you know look at the the instruction in [10:54] the word regarding interpersonal [10:55] relationships specifically that of the [10:57] marriage be angry but do not sin and I [11:00] think absolutely the people of Australia [11:03] should be angry with what their [11:05] government is doing. I think many [11:08] governments around the world are [11:10] following suit with their anti-semitism [11:14] and our country with its just bizarre [11:17] uh morphing into something that is [11:19] almost unrecognizable [11:21] as the three branches which were meant [11:23] to be protective of not allowing the [11:26] overstepping of any of the three uh to [11:29] to come into a situation like you know [11:32] you see in Iran. But yeah, I think you [11:35] know if we can sit by and not [11:36] emotionally become attached to this um [11:40] we've become kind of robotic and you [11:43] know we were just talking off air about [11:45] the the fact that you know there are so [11:47] many things that something should be [11:49] done about that nothing is done about [11:51] and that's very aggravating and and um I [11:54] think all of us have a place uh for that [11:56] but you know if your anger you know in [11:59] regard to the things you're mentioning [12:00] especially with political policies of [12:02] those in charge [12:04] If it doesn't get you off your backside [12:06] into the polls on election day, then [12:09] you're just angry at nothing. You're not [12:11] willing to step up and do anything about [12:13] it. And we've got, you know, set of [12:15] midterms coming up that everybody is [12:17] concerned about. And I think the [12:19] Democrats, especially the democratic [12:21] socialists, are are worried about, you [12:24] know, gaining power and, you know, the [12:26] the right that is in somewhat control [12:29] right now and worried about losing [12:32] power. And you know what? Nobody might [12:35] cares about the people anymore. And I [12:38] think that's that's really what's most [12:39] aggravating. They establish policies [12:41] that are against uh the vast majority of [12:43] people. And that's what's happening in [12:45] Iran. That's what's happening in [12:46] Lebanon. And I think that people should [12:49] be angry uh about these things. And the [12:52] Bible, like I said, calls it righteous [12:54] indignation. It's not, you know, just [12:57] uh, you know, becoming vigilante like, [13:00] but it's it's angry enough to do [13:03] something about it in the sense [13:05] especially in in democratic societies, [13:08] getting to the polls and voting these [13:10] people out. [13:12] >> Mhm. you know, uh, Mike, uh, [13:14] >> yeah, [13:14] >> there there's a there's a guy called [13:16] Elijah who was very angry with this [13:19] system, just so you know. [13:20] >> Oh, [13:21] >> he he saw he saw [13:23] >> he saw a system [13:25] >> that is corrupt. He saw a system that is [13:29] globalist, a system that has no regards [13:33] to [13:34] the the word of God and even [13:38] >> outright demonic say no. [13:40] >> Yeah. But but people once you erase the [13:44] uniqueness of God and his word and you [13:48] you bring in you invite in everything [13:51] else and then it it's going to take only [13:55] the courageous people to stand up and [13:59] and as as as [14:01] we know sometimes believers might feel [14:05] that they're all alone about that but [14:07] God had to remind Elijah more than once [14:10] once [14:12] that he's not alone, that he left. [14:15] >> There's 7,000 more of you. [14:17] >> Exactly. [14:19] Now, there obviously still 7,000 out of [14:23] almost, you know, million and a half or [14:25] two million people is still not many. [14:27] But don't ever think you're alone in [14:29] this. Don't ever think that it's only [14:31] you. And remember, God always leaves a [14:34] remnant. But I also think that because [14:37] the remnant is so small, [14:42] we will see [14:44] a reaction to this, but it's not going [14:48] to necessarily be godly. So I think [14:51] there is what Pastor Barry talked about [14:53] righteous anger is the righteous anger [14:56] of the believer. And I think because we [14:59] are believers, the only way for us to [15:02] fight it is prayer and go to vote. Yes. [15:04] Not I mean, but I I sadly [15:10] will say that at least when it comes to [15:13] America and Europe, I'm not sure about [15:15] Australia, but I think people will take [15:18] it to a different level beyond prayer [15:22] and voting because people also don't [15:25] trust that their vote matters anymore. [15:28] And so they're going to say, "Bingo." [15:30] >> And they're going to say, "Yeah." And so [15:32] once you once people tell you go to vote [15:34] and you go to vote and you see that in [15:36] the middle of the night they turn off [15:39] everything and then once they turn it on [15:41] boom [15:43] the the other guy that was way behind is [15:46] now leading. When you know that they're [15:49] cheating in the elections in the [15:50] counting of the votes and all of that [15:52] then as a believer you're going to pray [15:57] as a believer at least you know you did [15:59] the right thing. you voted. That's why [16:02] it's important. [16:03] >> That's true. [16:04] >> But but non-believers who are driven by [16:08] their emotions, by their anger, it's not [16:12] a righteous anger anymore. And [16:14] unfortunately, [16:16] we will see levels [16:20] of violence that the world has not seen [16:24] in the last couple in maybe in the last [16:27] 80 years or so. And I often say and I I [16:33] also teach that I I don't know much [16:35] about the US and how it's going to end [16:37] up there, but I believe that the rise of [16:39] the antichrist in Western Europe will be [16:43] expedited by the anger of so many [16:47] Europeans from what is going on in their [16:50] continent with the Islamic invasion and [16:53] the lunacy of progressive liberal [16:55] mindset because they see how everything [16:57] is collapsing. [17:00] And so, [17:02] >> but what I'm what I'm trying to say is [17:04] that can you imagine if the antichrist [17:06] is a product of that, that's not exactly [17:09] good news, but it's predictable. [17:12] It is inevitable. And so I will say to [17:16] whoever asked that question as a [17:19] believer, yes, it's okay to have [17:21] righteous um anger, but as an but [17:25] unfortunately we're going to see a lot [17:27] of anger that is not so righteous and [17:30] the response will be accordingly. [17:35] >> Yeah, Mike, you know, James says that [17:36] the wrath of man does not produce the [17:38] righteousness of God. And you know, I [17:41] think this is something that like Amir [17:43] said that we see out on the horizon. [17:45] >> And you know, kind of back to the first [17:47] question a little bit, you know, [17:49] regarding, you know, what's going to [17:50] happen with the nation of Israel and [17:52] Iran and all that. You know, we're first [17:54] of all told to pray for the peace of [17:55] Jerusalem. That puts the responsibility [17:58] of Jerusalem's peace in God's hands. And [18:00] he's going to bring about an end to all [18:02] that. And the same, you know, when David [18:05] said in Psalm 119, it is time for you to [18:08] act, oh Lord, because they have regarded [18:10] your law as void. And I think we're [18:13] very, very close to that time where God [18:15] is going to act. And he's going to act [18:19] on behalf of a Christrejecting world. [18:21] And uh we're going to transition into [18:23] the 70th week of Daniel or the world is, [18:26] I should say. I don't shouldn't say we. [18:28] I have no intention of being here during [18:30] the 70th week of Daniel. So, but uh I [18:33] think it it's it's at the door. [18:37] >> Yeah. Yeah. Well, let's jump straight [18:39] over to since since you guys have raised [18:41] this, let's continue. And the next [18:43] question is related to all of this [18:46] justice. [18:48] Why, Amir, I'm asking you this question. [18:51] Why is Satan bound for a thousand years [18:53] and then released again only to deceive [18:54] the nations once more? What is God's [18:56] purpose in allowing this to happen? But [18:59] we've answered this question in the [19:00] past. [19:01] So, I want to focus on a specific angle [19:05] to this. Satan's bound. The demons are [19:08] bound. There's justice for 1,000 years. [19:12] It's relief, air, it's relief. [19:15] What is going on in the hearts of human [19:20] beings from the beginning of the [19:21] millennium to the end? What happens to [19:25] human hearts without the devil or demons [19:27] to tempt them where they would want to [19:30] go back after he [19:32] >> well the wickedness the [19:35] >> the wickedness of the heart [19:39] >> is not necessarily only because of Satan [19:42] >> and so we have to I mean the presence of [19:44] Satan is not and we see in fact the [19:47] millennial kingdom [19:48] >> in the millennium is what you're saying [19:50] >> abs but the millennial kingdom will the [19:52] millennium kingdom is the way for God to [19:55] prove it. And not only that, [19:58] >> prove it. [19:59] >> Remember, Mike, yeah, but remember what [20:02] comes right after the new millennial [20:03] kingdom, the ultimate [20:06] >> white [20:06] >> end of the great white throne judgment. [20:10] Exactly. And that judgment, [20:13] it's the final judgment. And before the [20:16] final judgment of all humanity [20:20] of from dawn of history before that [20:23] happens I think God is making it clear [20:27] to the world that even when thousand [20:31] year because I asked the same question [20:32] by the way I was a little bit [20:36] uncomfortable with the fact that I'm [20:39] taken I'm taken to be up there in living [20:42] in a mansion that he worked on for the [20:44] last 2,000 years maybe. [20:46] >> What? [20:46] >> Yeah. [20:47] >> Who wants to come back to this earth [20:50] after spending seven years in heaven [20:52] during the tribulation after we are [20:55] already uh the bride that got married [20:58] and after we went through the judgment [21:00] seat of Christ and the bema seat of [21:03] Christ and you know received according [21:05] to our faithfulness crowns and award all [21:08] of that. [21:10] Why would I ever want to come back to [21:13] this world? Why wouldn't I want to wait [21:15] until God will make [21:16] >> Why would you? [21:17] >> Well, and that's exactly it. God [21:21] >> God wants to demonstrate to us as much [21:23] as he wants to demonstrate to the whole [21:25] world that when he reaches the point of [21:30] the final judgment. [21:32] It's after the world had a whole [21:34] thousand-year chance to live in a world [21:38] that is free of Satan, free of demons [21:41] with with [21:42] >> Can you imagine Jesus Christ is not just [21:45] something you pray in the name of? He is [21:47] physically there [21:49] >> sitting on his throne. [21:52] >> Pe people will come to Jerusalem every [21:54] year to celebrate a feast of [21:56] tabernacles. righteous earth, planet [21:59] earth will reach the best [22:02] uh uh uh form of it as close as possible [22:07] to Eden like [22:09] >> everything will be perfect and yet and [22:13] yet the Bible says that the minute Satan [22:16] is released there will be probably the [22:20] largest rebellion in the history of [22:22] planet earth against God and against [22:25] God's people And that's to teach you [22:29] that the the when the judgment comes [22:31] right after it's a righteous fair [22:35] judgment [22:37] that we should have no doubt [22:40] >> that is due. [22:41] >> That makes sense. [22:42] >> And [22:43] >> and you know I think that our hearts [22:45] will also break. I think that if you [22:48] really think about it, the only time he [22:50] will wipe our tears [22:53] and there will be no more tears and no [22:55] more pain is not when we are taken. It's [22:58] not the rapture. It's when we actually [23:02] enter the new Jerusalem because only [23:05] then there is no more sin and there is [23:08] no more death and there is no more [23:11] sorrow and pain. Up until then sin [23:14] exists. It will abound and it's going to [23:17] be ugly for us. Can you imagine? You [23:18] live for a thousand years. You saw a a a [23:22] probably a believer surviving the [23:25] tribulation, entering into the [23:27] millennial kingdom, having his son born, [23:30] having his grandson born, and before you [23:33] know it, five generations after, they're [23:35] all non-believers. Think about that. All [23:38] of them will turn against God one day. [23:42] >> That happens. [23:42] >> Yes. But that it happens now. But Christ [23:46] is not physically reigning right now on [23:49] earth. So think about that. Right now [23:52] people could say, "Yeah, Satan is the [23:55] prince of the air. He is the prince of [23:56] this world." [23:58] You know, a lot of that you won't have [24:01] that one excuse anymore. And and and yet [24:04] people will sin. And yet the moment he's [24:07] released, he will deceive and they will [24:09] gladly join him. And that's to tell us [24:12] that it doesn't matter if it's a war [24:14] zone. His peace surpasses all [24:17] understanding. And it doesn't matter if [24:20] it's a perfect world or a flawed world. [24:24] If you are a true believer, born again, [24:26] spiritfilled, you belong to him. And you [24:29] will not wait for Satan to be released [24:31] to instantly switch sides. And that's [24:34] that's for us comforting, but at the [24:37] same time, it'll break our hearts to see [24:39] how many how many will turn against the [24:42] Lord and against us. It's against the [24:45] city of the beloved. So, so I'm thinking [24:48] the the the fact that the great white [24:51] throne judgment is coming right after is [24:53] the key to why Satan will be permitted [24:58] to do all of this. [25:00] >> Wow. Wow. Very well put. very well put. [25:03] So the so the statement in the Bible [25:05] that says a heart of a man is [25:07] desperately wicked who can know it [25:09] >> is really revealed and highlighted [25:11] during that time is what I [25:12] >> and and the verse does not include that [25:14] verse does not include because of Satan. [25:17] >> He could have he could have included [25:19] that. He could have included that but [25:21] it's not because as long as Satan is is [25:25] free the heart is wicked. [25:27] >> No. [25:28] >> Yeah. On the condition of Yeah. [25:30] >> Yeah. [25:31] >> Yeah. Hey Mike, let me jump in here real [25:33] quick. [25:33] >> Yeah, [25:35] >> you know, I think it's interesting. I [25:36] I've always kind of looked at the [25:37] millennium as the final effort of God uh [25:42] to reach mankind. And you know, if you [25:44] think about the things that are going to [25:46] happen during the millennium, you know, [25:48] he left man on his own with no law from [25:51] Adam to Noah, uh then gave, you know, a [25:54] covenant to Abraham and then a law to [25:57] the Jews and then sent his own son into [26:00] the world, a period of grace like the [26:02] world has never experienced. And then [26:04] finally, we've got a time of wrath in [26:07] the 70th week of Daniel. And this is [26:08] followed by a time where everything that [26:11] people complain about is eliminated [26:15] because Jesus is going to be the judge [26:17] of all the earth. He's not there will be [26:19] no injustice. A child will die at 100 [26:22] years old. There's going to be extended [26:24] lifespans again. I believe during the [26:27] millennium there'll be no famine. [26:28] There'll be no hunger. There'll be no [26:31] poverty. There'll be none of those [26:33] things. Everything that people complain [26:35] about is going to be eliminated during [26:37] the millennial kingdom. And I think it's [26:40] well fitting to describe the world as [26:43] kind of like a a a pre flood world or [26:46] even a a a garden of Eden type situation [26:50] where, you know, everything is [26:51] flourishing. You know, plant life is [26:54] great. There's no droughts. There's no [26:56] cataclysmic events on the earth. And at [26:58] the end of all that, [27:01] people turn on God instantly. As air [27:04] said, it will be the biggest disaster [27:06] the world has ever experienced. And [27:08] that's why when God finally [27:11] closes the loop on his efforts to reach [27:13] man, man will still side with Satan [27:16] immediately upon his release. [27:18] >> And the great white throne judgment is [27:20] the only solution. [27:22] >> I am so glad that I'm a believer. I am [27:25] so glad that I [27:28] Wow, gentlemen. [27:30] All right. Well, that was heavy. Uh, [27:32] thank you for delving deeper into that [27:35] question that we get asked a lot. Let's [27:37] go on. I'm going to throw this one at [27:39] you, Pastor Barry. This is, um, [27:42] it's also a very interesting one. Um, [27:45] and very controversial. So, connect [27:47] team, you can throw this one up there. [27:50] >> Thank you. is there basis that indicates [27:53] believers who are backsliden will not be [27:56] raptured and will be susceptible to [27:59] great deception and cannot be saved [28:01] during the tribulation because and I [28:04] know why the person asked this question. [28:05] You go to social media and you see [28:07] people that were walking with the Lord [28:10] that have now transitioned in their [28:13] gender or um are now anti- good even may [28:19] do public debates against God. [28:23] What is going on? You know, if somebody [28:28] is saved, [28:30] will they be saved forever? [28:33] Well, maybe they maybe they weren't [28:36] saved to begin with. All of these things [28:38] drive us nuts. And if you go to more of [28:41] the Pentecostal churches, [28:42] >> they say you can lose your salvation. [28:45] So, who's right? What's going on? Um, [28:48] and then you got the Calvinists saying, [28:50] you know, once saved, always saved. And, [28:52] you know, the perseverance of the [28:54] saints. It see look even people in my [28:57] church, Pastor Barry, as I'm sure you [28:59] have in your church that were so-called [29:01] walking with God, led worship, had [29:03] volunteer heart and and were discipling [29:06] people. I had a guy transition [29:10] and he's he's a disaster right now. So, [29:14] how do you unpack this, especially in [29:16] regards to what we know is going to [29:18] happen in the future prophetic [29:21] um visions that God gave us very [29:23] clearly? [29:27] Sorry to throw that at you in such a [29:30] it's an emotional I don't even know [29:31] where to start like this. [29:35] >> Yeah. I think you know we it's very in [29:37] vogue right now to walk away and say I'm [29:39] no longer a Christian. Well the Bible [29:41] makes it very clear if you walk away you [29:43] never were a Christian. John uh the [29:46] beloved said they went out from us [29:48] because they were not of us. And [29:50] remember when Jesus concluded the sermon [29:52] on the mount, you know, there's a group [29:54] that that he addresses the false [29:56] teachers who said, "Hey, we did many [29:59] things in your name." [30:00] >> And he says, "Depart from me. I never [30:02] knew you. Not I once knew you and then [30:05] forgot about you or rejected you." He [30:08] said, "I never knew you. Depart from me, [30:11] you who practice lawlessness." [30:13] So John makes it very clear under the [30:15] inspiration of the spirit that those who [30:17] depart never were part of the body. And [30:20] I think we can understand this through [30:22] the lens of Ephesians chapter 1 verse 13 [30:25] where God gives us his Holy Spirit as a [30:28] guarantee of a future inheritance. And [30:31] there's nowhere in scripture that we see [30:34] the removal of that guarantee. You know, [30:36] the Christian enjoys what is specific to [30:39] the church age, and that is the [30:41] indwelling of the Holy Spirit. And if [30:44] God gives you his spirit, that [30:46] guarantees [30:47] that you have a future inheritance [30:49] awaiting you. Now, the other side of [30:51] that coin is we have to recognize that [30:53] when God puts his Holy Spirit in you and [30:56] you do things that are against God's [30:58] word, it's going to grieve the Holy [30:59] Spirit in you and cause you to repent. [31:01] Godly sorrow produces repentance. So [31:04] it's not like you're given the Holy [31:06] Spirit and then you can live like hell [31:08] and still expect to go to heaven. That's [31:10] not what the Bible teaches at all. And I [31:12] think the initial question we have to [31:14] understand comes from 2 Thessalonians [31:17] chapter 2 where you know Paul is saying [31:20] that you know those who did not or would [31:23] not that's choice would not receive the [31:26] love of the truth God is going to send [31:28] them strong delusion. you know, and as [31:31] far as them missing the rapture, uh I I [31:34] think we could well say they were never [31:35] going in the first place. It's not that [31:37] they were on the list and now they're [31:39] not. [31:40] >> Uh they were never going in the first [31:42] place because they would not receive the [31:44] love of God's truth and therefore they [31:47] will experience a strong delusion. Now [31:50] there are those who take this to the [31:51] place where they say if you heard the [31:53] gospel prior to the rapture and rejected [31:55] it uh then you can't be saved after the [31:58] rapture if you miss it during the [32:00] tribulation period. I don't believe that [32:02] at all because the Bible clearly teaches [32:04] that there is one who sws another waters [32:07] and then another reef. So there's a [32:08] progression in most people's salvation. [32:11] Most people don't come to the Lord the [32:13] first time they hear the gospel. So, and [32:16] the reason I think this is important is [32:18] because we have to establish the fact [32:20] that if it's true for this particular [32:24] group, it has to have always been true. [32:26] And you know, people hear the gospel and [32:28] uh I don't know. Yeah, that's too much. [32:32] I I don't know if I believe it. Then [32:33] somebody comes along and waters and it [32:36] says something by inspiration of the [32:38] Holy Spirit and they wow, I wasn't [32:40] expecting that. and then finally [32:42] somebody comes along and reaps uh that [32:45] harvest. So you've got a biblical [32:48] progression of of hearing the gospel and [32:50] you know there are people who hear it [32:52] and immediately respond to it but they [32:54] are by far the minority. Most people [32:57] have what I call layering. They hear [33:00] something from one person and they hear [33:01] it from another person and from another [33:03] person. Then they wind up sitting in [33:05] church and hearing evangelist preach. [33:06] then they wind up raising their hand, [33:08] walking down an aisle or going down on a [33:10] field. So, I don't think that we can [33:13] make the case for if you heard the [33:16] gospel and did not respond to it prior [33:19] to the rapture of the church that you [33:21] can't get saved during the tribulation. [33:23] I believe if you've made your final [33:25] decision, [33:26] >> if you would not receive the love of the [33:29] truth, then that indicates that you've [33:31] already decided you want nothing to do [33:32] with God. And you have to remember, [33:34] Mike, during the tribulation period, [33:36] people are going to hate the Jews and [33:38] Christians, and they're going to want to [33:39] see them slaughtered, and they're going [33:40] to be complicit in the death of millions [33:43] and millions of believers who have the [33:46] testimony of Jesus and the word of God. [33:48] A number of this multitude will be slain [33:50] during the tribulation period. And I [33:52] think those who've said, and there's [33:54] many, many of them in our world today [33:57] have said, you know what, I don't want [33:58] anything to do with this God thing. And [34:00] if you go back to Revelation or I mean [34:02] Romans chapter 1, it says although they [34:06] knew God, they did not glorify him as [34:09] God. They want nothing to do with him uh [34:12] at all. So I think it's pretty clear [34:14] that that indicates there is a final [34:17] conscious rejection of Christ that is in [34:21] view. They want nothing to do with them [34:23] >> and therefore they will experience the [34:24] delusion of God. So I personally believe [34:28] that probably the most significant group [34:32] contributing to that numberless [34:34] multitude will be people who were [34:36] playing church. Uh people who never made [34:39] a a true and honest commitment to the [34:41] Lord and they'll recognize they missed [34:43] the rapture of the church and come to [34:46] know Christ. After all, that's the very [34:48] thing that's going to lead the Jews to [34:50] salvation is a tribulation period. [34:53] >> Yeah. Yeah. Amir. Um when [34:56] >> I just if you if it's okay I just want [34:59] to say that if you want the ultimate [35:03] stamp of when is it that somebody is [35:08] completely unable to get saved is when [35:11] he receives the mark of the beast. I [35:13] think that's the point where this is it. [35:17] They have already made up their mind as [35:19] pastor Barry just alluded to [35:21] >> that's it. that's their final and during [35:23] the tribulation that's the thing and so [35:27] I'm saying um [35:30] if you're looking for a specific [35:33] physical sign for someone who is that's [35:38] it is no longer able to get saved that's [35:42] the one [35:43] >> mark of the beast yeah look um you guys [35:46] are like what I heard you say Pastor [35:49] Barry is that a a believer can be [35:51] deceived as well and can sin. We know [35:53] that. And the story's not over. So, [35:56] whoever asked this question, just when [35:58] you think that the person is backsliden [36:01] and let's say they were a believer or [36:03] are a believer, the story's not over [36:05] yet. I have many examples Amir in my [36:08] life where [36:10] >> as a believer I got I got off track and [36:12] even for several weeks to months and [36:14] then I was revealed by the spirit of God [36:18] to change my mind about certain things [36:21] about life about my relationships about [36:25] even finances all the practical things [36:28] that the Bible speaks about it's like [36:31] you know and so my my point is to the to [36:34] the to those watching is you don't know [36:36] the final story. And so don't assume [36:39] something is true when it might not be. [36:41] Just pray for that person. Pray for that [36:42] person and ask God to put an [36:44] overwhelming weight of repentance on [36:47] them. Uh cuz you can't do that yourself. [36:50] So that's that's my two cents worth. Um [36:52] yeah, cuz we don't it's disturbing. The [36:55] biggest thing about the rapture for me [36:56] is that I know I'm going to be raptured, [36:59] but I don't know who around me is going [37:00] to be raptured. That that's the thing [37:02] that haunts me. So [37:04] >> yeah, [37:04] >> whatever state the spiritually that [37:06] they're in. [37:07] >> Um, let me go then to the next question. [37:10] Any final comments on that, gentlemen, [37:15] >> since there is no comments. [37:18] Let's go to this question. Connect team [37:20] number 10. Um, I'm going to put this one [37:23] on you, Amir, because the last one was [37:25] with Barry. [37:27] All right. This is uh this is one of [37:31] those high, you know, high emotional [37:34] ones perhaps. [37:37] Can you please explain about all the [37:39] different Jews? Why do some wear boxes [37:42] on their arms and heads? Why do they [37:45] rock when praying and some Jews do not [37:48] do these things? [37:50] >> Is Judaism a uniform system or does it [37:54] have various factions? If so, how do you [37:57] explain that? What does it mean to be [37:59] Jewish? Why do they do these things and [38:01] some not? [38:03] >> You know the story of the Israeli that [38:05] went to China and he got into a [38:08] restaurant and he asked the waiter, "Are [38:12] there any Chinese juice?" [38:15] And and he went to the kitchen and came [38:18] back and said, "No, there's only orange [38:19] juice and grapefruit juice." Um and so [38:24] >> orange juice. [38:28] >> No, look, Jewish people, Jewish people [38:32] are it is the only case as far as I know [38:35] that is a race and a religious [38:38] affiliation at the same time. And when [38:41] it comes to a race, you you can be you [38:44] can be born a Jew, you have Jewish DNA, [38:47] Jewish blood, and still you can either [38:50] be secular or maybe even you went to [38:53] India and now you're, you know, you have [38:56] this Buddhist ideas or the Hindu ideas. [38:59] I've seen enough of those, trust me. Um [39:02] and then you can have Jewish people that [39:05] follow orthodox Judaism [39:08] uh which evolved from the Pharisees [39:10] movement after w uh the second temple [39:13] period and there are the ultraorththodox [39:17] that are the strictest of those who [39:20] evolved from the phariseaic movement and [39:23] and then you have uh you know in other [39:28] countries some new branches of what we [39:30] call conservative and reformed Jews that [39:33] are more progressive [39:35] in their ideas and most of them who live [39:39] outside of Israel and not in Israel. In [39:42] Israel, the majority of anyone who calls [39:45] himself a religious Jew will be the [39:49] orthodox or the ultraorththodox. [39:51] So there are se there are so many of [39:53] them. any orthodox Jew, whether he's [39:57] wearing a yarmaka but just regular [40:00] clothes and serves in the military and [40:02] has a job and all of that or an [40:04] ultraodok Jew which is the blackwearing [40:07] people that are for the most part [40:09] studying the Torah all day long. All of [40:12] them will use the filactra and which is [40:18] to put in their morning prayer the the [40:21] box on their forehead and on their arm [40:24] uh fulfilling that you shall love your [40:26] god all your heart all your mind all [40:28] your soul and you shall have the word of [40:30] god on your arm in between your eyes [40:32] that's how that's the physical [40:34] fulfillment of it um so there are so [40:38] many different types of the way Jewish [40:43] people [40:44] see the way they should fulfill their [40:47] Jewish identity. Now remember, you have [40:50] to understand Jews who believed in [40:53] Yeshua 2,000 years ago were not [40:57] considered non-Jews. Never. They were [41:01] not some people who that others agreed [41:03] with obviously because of their view of [41:07] who the Messiah is or what Messiah is [41:10] all about. But at no point they were not [41:14] uh Jews because you cannot unjew a Jew. [41:17] You understand that? There is nowhere in [41:19] the Bible. There's nowhere in the Bible [41:21] where a Jew lost his Jewishness because [41:26] he's not is no longer following the [41:29] Orthodox way or something like that. And [41:31] at the same way, by the way, there is no [41:34] Gentile that [41:37] overnight became a Jew. Now, of course, [41:40] spiritually, [41:42] uh, anyone that believes is now a son of [41:45] Abraham, is now a son of faith, all of [41:47] that, that's fine. But as a race, as a [41:52] blood, and all of that, a Jew is a Jew [41:57] by birth. Period. Now what way is it [42:02] that he is choosing to live his life [42:06] according to it's a different story and [42:09] you have to and that's by the way a lot [42:11] of people are asking me so if the [42:15] antichrist will be embraced as Messiah [42:19] and he will allow the temp the temple to [42:23] be built and um and that will be the [42:27] mark of the beast and all of that what [42:29] Jews are going to accept him. And I [42:32] always say it's the same Jewish people [42:34] that have no problem rejecting God now [42:38] and saying that they are globalist, [42:41] >> that they are liberal, progressive, [42:43] globalists. Yes. [42:44] >> And so [42:46] the the central part of Israel, Tel Aviv [42:49] region, is full of them. I mean, [42:51] >> and and and what we see post October [42:54] 7th, and by the way, we hear that from [42:57] survivors of a Nova festival. We hear [43:00] that from hostages that were released. [43:03] Thankfully, we hear that from many [43:06] people that they finally understood that [43:11] one of the reasons, the main reason they [43:13] were butchered, killed or I mean others [43:16] were butchered and killed and they went [43:18] through these horos [43:21] are Jews. It's not because they were I [43:23] mean it wasn't the enemy never checked [43:26] their political views, the level of the [43:30] their practicing of Judaism. I mean most [43:33] of the people who lived in the kibbutas [43:36] around Gaza, they were secular Jews, you [43:40] know, they were not religious Jews. They [43:41] were not Orthodox Jews. Okay? But they [43:44] realize [43:46] it wasn't the way I practice Judaism. [43:50] It's the blood that runs in my veins [43:53] that caused the enemy to already [43:55] determine that I need to be killed. And [43:58] >> that's a total awakening of of reality, [44:00] isn't it? [44:01] >> Wow. And that that's what caused so many [44:04] Jewish people in Israel and outside [44:09] caused them to to to leave secular [44:13] hedonist materialistic lifestyle and to [44:18] run back to their Jewish identity and [44:20] and and everyone has his own way of how [44:22] to express that. But at least they know [44:26] God is there. We are a nation created [44:30] and guided by God and we are being [44:34] preserved by God. Because if you [44:37] understand what was what was planned [44:42] and how October 7th is actually [44:46] a thing that saved us from the original [44:49] vicious grand plan of the Ayatollas, [44:52] you would know that God had to be in the [44:54] picture. And and so [44:58] my my point is that some some Jews [45:02] practice this way, some Jews practice [45:04] that way, but all of them are still [45:07] Jews. And in the eyes of the enemy, all [45:09] of them must be killed. And in the eyes [45:11] of God, all of them are Jews. All of [45:14] them are the people of Israel. And so [45:16] when we talk about all Israel will be [45:19] saved after the tribulation, I don't [45:21] think God is going to check if they if [45:24] they wrap themselves with felactra [45:26] prayer shaw or said this prayer or that [45:29] prayer. I think that it's when they look [45:31] at him whom they pierced and they [45:34] acknowledge that he is their savior and [45:36] they acknowledge that by his death they [45:39] are healed and they are saved. That's [45:42] how they are going to be saved. And so [45:46] again, there are different ways of how [45:50] to materialize your Jewish identity [45:54] right now maybe. But at the end of the [45:56] word, at the end of the the story, the [45:58] end of the book, I don't think that [46:02] rabbitical Judaism traditions and all of [46:05] these things can ever save anyone. And I [46:08] think that by the end of the [46:10] tribulation, they will already know [46:11] that. And it's not going to be any of [46:14] their rabbis, any of their traditions, [46:16] any of their religious uh practices that [46:19] will save them. It will be their eyes. [46:24] >> Yeah. It will be their [46:25] >> their eyes fixed on their Messiah. And [46:29] it's, look, I'm not even quoting the New [46:31] Testament. I'm quoting the Old [46:32] Testament. Yes. Paul is the one who [46:34] talked about all Israel will be saved in [46:36] in Romans 11. But it's Zachchariah the [46:39] prophet that mentions the fact that the [46:42] Messiah will come back. His feet will [46:43] stand on Mount of Olives and they will [46:46] look at him whom they pierced and that's [46:49] the one that they will recognize and [46:51] then they will mourn and cry. there will [46:54] be true and great repentance. [46:57] And and it's not interesting that [47:02] that will be the fulfillment of of of of [47:05] trumpets, atonement, and then uh uh [47:09] tabernacles. The Jewish people, the [47:12] Jewish people will go through [47:16] a fulfillment of what they always [47:21] considered as [47:23] their part of their tradition, part of [47:25] their religion, but they will then [47:28] understand it. It was always the shadow. [47:32] Now we understand the substance [47:35] >> and uh I think it's beautiful. [47:37] The obvious question is in your opinion [47:39] what does it mean to be Jewish? This is [47:42] why people argue they fierce debates. [47:44] >> I look I don't think I I I think that I [47:48] don't think God asked us if we want to [47:52] be Jews or not. We were born to this [47:55] nation [47:56] >> and we will have to [48:00] bear the consequences of being part of [48:03] that nation for good and for bad. Look, [48:05] I love the fact that believers love the [48:08] Jewish people. I love it. But I also [48:11] have to admit that I don't like the fact [48:14] that most of the world hates the Jews. [48:16] Okay? So, we can enjoy that from the [48:20] people of God. But we have to accept [48:23] that the other thing is coming from [48:26] those who hate God and those who are [48:28] against God. And [48:30] >> that's these are the two things that [48:33] every Jew finds himself in the last 3 [48:36] years living with [48:39] >> love and support from a small remnant [48:43] which is for the most part born again [48:46] spiritfilled Christians and hatred to [48:50] the level of wanting to ex exterminate [48:52] us from the rest of the world and we see [48:56] it we experience it we live it. So what [48:58] is it to be a Jew? You're born as a Jew. [49:02] Now to be born as a Jew, by the way, to [49:06] be born as a Jew is not enough, Mike. To [49:08] be born as a Muslim or as a Catholic or [49:12] as an Orthodox or as a Hindu or as a [49:14] Buddhist, it that's how you're born. [49:18] But to be born again, [49:21] that's the key. And the diff the [49:24] difference though between Israel and the [49:26] rest of the world is that Israel is the [49:29] only nation on planet earth that has a [49:32] promise of a national salvation. Whereas [49:35] the rest of the world the individuals [49:38] come to faith. It's not the nation that [49:41] comes to faith. Do you understand the [49:42] difference? [49:43] >> Yeah. It's fascinating. [49:45] >> It is fascinating. So I have to so I [49:49] have to accept the fact that being a Jew [49:51] is being part of a nation that is hated [49:55] but also by the world but is part of a [49:58] nation that is loved by God has a future [50:02] and a hope from God and yes pay [50:08] the penalty of disbelief but if you you [50:12] know if you survive to the end you will [50:15] also enjoy [50:16] the amazing amazing future and hope in [50:22] the promises of the one who is the way, [50:25] the truth, and life. And so, as second [50:29] Corinthians chapter 3 says, when one [50:34] when one of the when a Jew turns to the [50:36] Messiah, that veil is taken away and he [50:40] can instantly understand everything. But [50:42] as a nation, it's not going to happen [50:45] until the end of the times of the [50:46] Gentiles. It's not going to happen until [50:48] the end of the tribulation when as a [50:51] nation, we will experience a national [50:53] salvation. So look, I never chose to be [50:56] born a Jew. But now that I have been [50:59] born a Jew, I have to embrace it. I have [51:03] to thank God for it. And I have to ask, [51:06] what is it that you want for me as a Jew [51:10] in my journey as a Jew in this world? [51:14] >> Yeah. I just wish the that the we talked [51:18] about this last week on last week's Q&A. [51:19] All of you can go watch that question. [51:21] But [51:23] so many Jews will die in the tribulation [51:25] period. I just wish what happened to [51:27] you, Amir, would happen to everyone in [51:29] your nation. Of course, I'm, you know, [51:32] >> optimistic. And forget that. Look at the [51:34] Gentiles. It's even worse. I mean, [51:36] they're they're grasping on to evil [51:38] without any identity of it's just so the [51:42] devil really understands how to work [51:44] people and deceive people. Pastor Barry, [51:46] you're about to mention something. [51:48] >> Yeah, Mike, I think what air said is so [51:50] important because what we have to [51:52] recognizes that this is spiritual at the [51:54] core and we know that because it doesn't [51:57] matter what party the prime minister is [51:59] from. Doesn't matter the leanings of the [52:02] Knesset. [52:03] Whoever is in control is completely [52:05] irrelevant politically because the world [52:08] is still going to hate the Jews. And [52:11] this is a a huge revelation I think [52:15] regarding the nature of this hatred. It [52:18] is demonic. And therefore, when anyone [52:21] feels these anti-semitic feelings and a [52:25] hatred for the Jews, you have to know [52:28] that that's of the devil. And that's who [52:30] who that person is submitting to. [52:32] >> Uh so this is this is crucial and and [52:35] the lesson learned by those on the in [52:38] the kibbutim and all the other places [52:41] around Israel u is that it is it's just [52:44] a a demonic hatred of a national people [52:49] group [52:50] >> because God called children. [52:52] >> Yeah. Go Mike. Um, I want to remind [52:55] people we have 2 and 1/2 weeks until the [52:58] launch of my new book and it's so [53:01] important ex I mean half of the things [53:03] we talked about today are related to [53:05] this. So this is the Elijah mandate and [53:09] it's coming out September 8. Uh we would [53:13] love you to help us to reach the number [53:16] that will get the attention of the big [53:19] uh uh bookstores. go online and if you [53:23] can, please pre-order this book. It can [53:26] be through Amazon, Christian book, maybe [53:28] even Barnes & Noble also. But do us a [53:31] favor. If you're planning on getting it, [53:32] getting it. Get it now because this is [53:36] the 2 and 1/2 weeks that determine if [53:39] the big stores will have it or not. And [53:43] so many times people think, "Oh, I'll [53:45] get it after it's out." Yeah, but what [53:47] if you can actually get it and help us [53:51] get to get the attention of so many [53:54] others at the same time. So help us if [53:56] you can [53:57] >> also these Q&As's [54:00] uh in the first batch of the Q&As's that [54:04] uh we did in the first few years during [54:06] co we came up with Bible prophecy [54:09] essentials. These are all uh we [54:13] accumulated all the cu the question and [54:15] answers on topics such as Israel, the [54:17] church, the rapture, tribulation, [54:19] millennium, great white throne, judgment [54:21] and heaven. And the 70 most common [54:25] questions were given an answer by pastor [54:28] Barry and myself in that book and uh [54:31] that's Bible prophecy the essentials. [54:34] And uh we just talked about the fact [54:35] that we have so many new questions, so [54:39] many new things in light of so many [54:41] things that have happened over the last [54:44] uh years since this book came out. And [54:46] we're planning on having another one [54:49] soon. Pastor Barry wrote an excellent [54:52] book called The Time of the Signs. And [54:55] we also want to get your attention to [54:58] this book. is an excellent book that [55:00] puts together all the things that are [55:04] surrounding us as they point to the soon [55:09] return of the Lord. And so that would [55:12] also help Pastor Barry a lot. And um if [55:17] you want scan this QR code and you can [55:20] order it as well. I want to thank you [55:24] guys.
