Transcript [00:00] While the president of the United States is conducting negotiations, Iran has launched a [00:05] wave of attacks against American targets in the Middle East. The revolutionary guards struck an [00:12] American base in Kuwait. A tanker was hit by an unidentified object in the Straight of Homus. Are [00:20] we returning to a state of active warfare? Under the cover of the crisis in US, the revolutionary [00:27] guards are securing their nuclear assets. Thran appears to be refusing to back down and is [00:33] threatening even if they hit us, we will send the region back to the stone age. Trump warned that [00:41] Iran has one last chance to sign an agreement. And meanwhile in Lebanon, Jordan, the Emirates, [00:49] and even inside Iran itself, some believe that the Islamic Republic has taken the first steps towards [00:56] complete surrender. So, will Hmus be opened in exchange for Iranian control? And is it possible [01:03] that Trump has walked into a trap? At the same time, the IDF is raising the pressure against the [01:11] Hamas terror organization in Gaza. The Israeli Air Force is carrying out a wave of targeted [01:18] eliminations against Hamas terrorists and the Israeli Air Force struck above the tunnels where [01:25] dozens of terrorists are trapped in Lebanon. And another front is heating up. The Syrian army has [01:33] deployed along the Iraqi border out of fear of an invasion by Shiat militias loyal to Iran. I'm Afi [01:41] Shashani. Yay Pinto's filming up north and I'll be joined by Ashley Alex. We are boots on the ground [01:48] bringing you the truth about what's happening in Israel and the truth about what's happening in [01:53] our neighborhood, the Middle East. Today is August the 4th and this is our second report of the day. [02:00] Let's begin. Less than 24 hours after it became clear that Tehran rejected the American compromise [02:08] proposal, President Donald Trump released an unusual and especially harsh statement overnight. [02:14] In it, he accused the Iranian leadership of being two-faced, of trying to deceive the world, and of [02:21] deliberately presenting contradictory messages. The post written in Trump's familiar aggressive [02:28] style signals that although the diplomatic channel is still open, tensions between the sides are once [02:35] again escalating and the White House is losing patience with what he describes as the Iranian [02:42] games. Against the backdrop of President Trump's claims that negotiations with Iran are taking [02:48] place, Iran's revolutionary guards attacked an American military base in Kuwait. And last night, [02:56] Trump said, "Tomorrow, you will understand where the negotiations stand. They will move [03:01] quickly. Homs will open." According to the reports, the attack was carried out using [03:07] three different drones. Iranian media reported overnight that explosions were heard in Kuwait [03:14] and claimed that a United States military base in the country had been hit. So far, there has been [03:21] no official confirmation from the United States or Kuwait. Now, at the same time, the United Kingdom [03:28] Maritime Trade Operations, the lovely acronym UK MTO, announced that a cargo ship was hit by [03:35] an unidentified object near the city of Hashib in Oman in the area of the straight of Homus. Now, [03:42] according to the notice, no details were given about damage or casualties. The disruptions to [03:48] shipping routes in the region are also being felt in the Red Sea. Houthi threats to impose a naval [03:55] blockade on Saudi Arabia are forcing Saudi tankers and ships to sail around Africa on their way to [04:02] Asia. The alternative route adds about 15 days to the journey and increases the costs of fuel, [04:09] insurance, and French transportation. And in addition, since the Houthi threats began [04:15] last month, Saudi oil traffic through the Babil Mandab Strait has dropped by about half. And Trump [04:21] himself continues to intensify the threats. In a statement he released, the president claimed that [04:28] the Iranian leadership is incredibly hypocritical. In his words, according to him, the Iranians are [04:35] asking for a meeting. And some would even say they are begging for one, but after the talks begin and [04:41] after additional talks are being planned for the near future, they publicly declare that they are [04:47] not holding any discussions at all. Trump added that Thran claims it's only holding contacts [04:53] with Oman while according to him the United States is in fact holding talks in an effort to reach a [04:59] solution to the crisis created by years of Iranian policy. Trump also referred to the Strait of Humuz [05:06] claiming that Iran's statements about control of the strait are total nonsense. According to him, [05:13] the strait is already under full control of the US armed navy and what he called the steel wall of [05:20] the United States. Trump's central message remains focused on the nuclear issue. At the end of his [05:27] remarks, he wrote that whether Iran admits it or not, talks are taking place to solve the problem. [05:33] But from Washington's perspective, the principle is clear. Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. [05:40] At the same time, the US Department of Defense has reportedly began implementing an urgent and [05:46] secret military plan to reduce the American aerial and offensive presence at the forward bases in the [05:53] Middle East. This was reported by Aram News citing Western sources. And according to the report, the [06:00] intelligence assessment behind the plan determined that the traditional deployment of forces at [06:06] forward bases has become a major vulnerability. The geographic proximity to Iran reportedly [06:12] shortens the warning time for Patriot and THAAD systems to less than 2 minutes in the event of a [06:19] missile launch or a suicide drone attack. These developments come amid tense exchanges between [06:25] Washington and Tehran. In the United States, Iran is being pres presented as a regime under heavy [06:32] pressure. The Iranian regime, on the other hand, is trying to present every possible contact as [06:38] something that is not taking place directly with the Americans. Iran's leadership has rejected [06:43] the latest American threats and made clear that is prepared for a broad military confrontation. [06:50] Iran continues to focus on the Strait of Humus as a pressure lever and mainly as a way to buy [06:56] time. While the regime tries to move nuclear capabilities to protected sites, Iran is also [07:02] relying on the Shiat militias in Iraq, which are applying pressure on the Americans across the [07:08] Middle East. These militaries and militias were built by the former commander of the Kuds force, [07:14] Kasim Sulmani, who was eliminated by the United States in order to fight Iran's enemies outside [07:20] its borders and keep the center of the fighting away from the territory of the Islamic Republic. [07:26] The militias are the backbone of the so-called resistance forces in the region. And it appears [07:31] that the revolutionary guards intend to defend them just as they defended. Now look, [07:38] this past weekend can definitely be described as the moment when Israel came closest to another [07:44] strike in Iran since February 28th. In Jerusalem, all the signs indicated that President Donald [07:51] Trump had lost patience and intended to order a strike on Iranian infrastructure over the weekend. [07:57] According to all assessments, Israel was supposed to be part of that strike, which explains the high [08:03] alert over the weekend, including the mobilization of essential systems. During the meeting between [08:09] Trump and Prime Minister Bin Netanyao at the White House last week, Netanyahu emphasized that [08:15] additional strikes against targets in the area of the street of Hummus could not truly change [08:20] the situation. On the contrary, they would only strengthen the Iranians in the negotiations in [08:26] their regional position by helping them deter Arab states. It appears that the understanding was to [08:33] strike different targets, infrastructure targets that could shake the regime's excessive sense of [08:38] security and perhaps impose a price it has not been forced to pay up till this point. Trump was [08:44] apparently convinced and Israel went on alert. But then Sunday came at 5 in the morning Israel [08:51] time. Trump posted, "I can attack on Iran." Israel was surprised and the tension immediately dropped. [08:58] And inside Iran, another drama is unfolding. A close associate of MTA revealed the ongoing [09:06] confrontation between him and the president of Iran. The desire to resign, the retreat, [09:12] and new details from recent days about Iran's Supreme Leader, who still has not been seen alive, [09:19] are raising serious questions about who is truly ruling Tehran. And then on the Lebanese front, [09:26] an Israeli air force strike was reported overnight in the area of El Tahel Ridge in southern Lebanon [09:33] above a tunnel system wherebalah terrorists are reportedly located. We'll bring you all [09:38] the details why they were struck there and how the IDF is fighting the terrorist organization. [09:44] And another front is heating up in the Middle East. Iraqi political sources revealed that Syria [09:50] informed Iraq that any attack launched from Iraqi territory towards Syria will not go unanswered. [09:57] In recent hours, reports have emerged that the Syrian army has deployed forces along the border [10:02] with Iraq out of concern that Shi militias loyal to Iran may invade its territory. There's a lot [10:10] ahead of us. Let's dive into the details. I am Mati Shashani. Yay Pinto's filming up north and [10:17] Ashley Alex will be with us today. We are boots on the ground bringing you the truth about what [10:22] is happening in Israel and about the war against the revolutionary guards in Iran, the head of the [10:28] axis of evil in the Middle East. Let's get back to the news. The overnight [12:02] attacks described in our opening are the visible layer of this war. The deeper change is taking [12:08] shape in central Iraq, much closer to Israel than the Kufi launch zones in Yemen. In the [12:14] fortified area of the Jul Shakar south of Baghdad, Iranianbacked militias have built a protected [12:22] military enclave. Detailed regional reporting describes Houthi personnel operating inside this [12:28] network, bringing drone expertise into territory controlled by Katibbala and closely connected to [12:36] the Revolutionary Guards. Why would Iran move Yemeni specialist into Iraq while negotiations [12:43] are supposedly moving forward? A drone launched from Iraq reaches Israel much faster than one [12:50] launched from northern Yemen. The shorter route narrows the warning window and gives Israeli air [12:56] defense crews less time to identify the weapon and select the the correct interceptor. It also [13:02] changes how an attack can be organized. A cell in Iraq can combine Iranian components [13:09] technical knowledge and Iraqi crews. One group can assemble the drone, another can launch it [13:15] and an Iranian adviser can direct the operation without op appearing at the same site. That confus [13:22] confusion is deliberate. Thran wants an attack to be effective but difficult to attribute. Jul [13:30] Shakal sits in Babil province roughly 60 km south of Baghdad. It has long been closed to most Iraqi [13:37] security bodies. Drone facilities, missile depots, training areas, and command positions [13:44] have been reported there for years. The Houthi representative in Iraq, Abu Idul Sharif Sharafi, [13:50] has built relationships with militia commanders, tribal figures, and popular mobilization forces. [13:57] Other Houthi personnel have been linked to the other organizations and mobilization forces [14:03] contain roughly 68 groups and an estimated 110,000 to 130,000 fighters. Not all of these answer [14:11] to Thran. Iran needs only several disciplined factions with missiles, drones, intelligence, [14:18] and access to protected ground. After a missile attack was directed towards an American base in [14:24] Jordan, American and Saudi forces struck militias positioned in Iraq. At least 20 militia fighters [14:31] were reportedly killed. Even that response can serve Iran. Every American strike inside [14:37] Iraq expands the conflict, pressures Baghdad, and forces Washington to defend bases across a wider [14:44] map. The Eastern Front is also pressing against Syria. Syrian forces have deployed along the Iraqi [14:52] border amid concerns that Iranianbacked militias could cross westward or reopen smuggling routes [14:59] towards Lebanon. Damascus is trying to block the old Iranian land corridor through El Kim [15:05] and El Bukamal. The route once carried weapons and fighters from Iran through Iraq and Syria [15:12] tobalah. Closing it forces Thran to rely more heavily on hidden depots, local production and [15:20] militia enclaves. The same strategic battle is unfolding in southern Lebanon. An Israeli [15:26] fighter reportedly struck above the tunnel zone at Ali Tile Ridge where dozens of terrorists are [15:32] believed to be trapped. Lebanese reports suggested bunker penetrating weapons because of the strength [15:38] of the explosions. Although the munition has not been officially identified, the objective is to [15:44] break a system designed to protect commanders, store weapons, and keep fighters moving beneath [15:50] the mountains after their positions above ground are destroyed. Now, before we continue, [15:56] help us share the truth from Israel. Now, when Ya and I report from Israel, you're not only watching events from a distance, [16:35] you're seeing what is happening through the eyes of people who live here on the ground. Iran is [16:41] using this pressure to buy its most valuable military resource, which is time. Israeli [16:47] assessments say Thran wants to transfer more nuclear capabilities into hardened underground [16:53] sites near East Fahan and at Pickax Mountain close to Natans. A confrontation over Homus [17:00] keeps the world focused on ships and oil while nuclear infrastructure can be dispersed, repaired, [17:07] and protected. The question is whether Washington is preparing to strike those sites or reposition [17:13] in its forces to survive Iran's first response. For the American side of the story, here is our [17:20] very own Ashley Alex. Let us know in the comments if you appreciate her reporting. She is a new [17:26] member of this team. She needs to hear your love and your appreciation in the comments section. [17:32] The Pentagon is reportedly changing the way American air power is positioned across the Middle [17:38] East. A report based on unnamed Western sources say F-15 and F-16 squadrons together with aerial [17:46] refueling aircraft have been moved away from exposed airfields close to Iran. Some aircraft [17:53] were reportedly shifted toward the Mediterranean and fortified bases in southern Europe. [17:58] The Pentagon has not publicly confirmed the plan, and that distinction is important. Yet, [18:03] the operational logic is easy to understand. At several forward bases, an Iranian missile or [18:10] one-way attack drone could arrive within less than 2 minutes of warning. That leaves little [18:15] time to move aircraft, protect crews, or prepare interceptors. A saturation attack could also force [18:22] Patriots and SAD batteries to engage many threats at once. Moving aircraft farther away does not [18:30] necessarily mean the United States is abandoning the strike option. A fighter sitting on an exposed [18:36] runway is a target. The same aircraft operating from a protected base supported by tankers and [18:42] longrange systems remains a weapon. This type of dispersal also makes Iranian planning harder. [18:50] Thran must track more bases, longer routes, additional tanker movements, and naval launch [18:56] platforms. American destroyers equipped with the Aegis combat system are reported to remain on high [19:02] alert in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Arabian Sea. Those ships can track missiles, defend naval [19:08] routes, and add another layer to the regional air defense picture. The most sensitive part of [19:14] the report concerns Israel. American F-35 aircraft in Israel were reportedly excluded from the wider [19:21] relocation because Israel's layered defenses reinforced by THAAD may offer better protection [19:27] and preserve a rapid strike force near Iran. That specific claim has not been confirmed by the [19:34] Pentagon. It must be treated as a report and not as an official American announcement. President [19:41] Trump is trying to make this military posture serve two political messages to Iran. He says [19:47] the United States can strike whenever it chooses. He calls the talk Thran's final chance. Says the [19:54] American Navy controls Hum and warns that nothing will reach Iran unless Washington permits it. To [20:02] American voters, he says diplomacy is receiving every opportunity because he does not want more [20:07] people killed. That balance is becoming harder. A new AP NORC poll found that roughly twothirds of [20:15] American adults believe the war with Iran has not been worth fighting. Opposition is strongest among [20:21] Democrats and independents. But frustration has also grown among Republicans. The public measures [20:27] the war through casualties, military spending, fuel prices, and the possibility of another long [20:34] commitment in the Middle East. The administration measures the risk differently. A nuclear threshold [20:40] Iran pressure on global shipping and a proxy network that can attack American forces without [20:46] exposing Tyran directly. Trump therefore needs an agreement that can be presented as more than [20:52] another pause. He needs visible results. The first would be a functioning straight of homos. [20:59] The second would be enforcable limits on Iran's nuclear program. The third would be a measurable [21:05] reduction in attacks by the revolutionary guards and their regional partners. Iran disputes the [21:11] starting point. Trump says negotiations are already taking place. Thran says it's own it's [21:18] speaking only with Oman about maritime navigation. Both statements may contain part of the truth. [21:25] Messages can pass through Oman, Qatar or Pakistan without American and Iranian delegation sitting in [21:31] the same room. Trump can call that negotiation. Iran can deny that formal talks have begun. The [21:39] important question is what those messages produce. Oman and Iran have publicly confirmed work on the [21:45] future administration of navigation, the services provided to ships and the related costs. Under [21:52] the reported framework, vessels entering the Persian Gulf would use a northern lane closer [21:57] to Iran. Ships leaving would travel through a southern lane nearer Oman. The arrangement [22:03] could separate traffic while mines are cleared and security procedures are established. Washington [22:09] rejects any system requiring Iranian permission or a compulsory toll. Iranian officials use a [22:16] different description. They say vessels may pay pay service fees for security, environmental work, [22:23] personnel or navigation support. An American official disputes that account and says a [22:29] temporary route should require neither Iranian permits nor fees. Iran also says a route agreement [22:36] is necessary but not sufficient. Thran demands an end to American attacks and relief from the naval [22:42] blockade on Iranian ports. Iran wants to exchange limited maritime cooperation for military and [22:49] economic breathing space. It also wants Iran and Oman, the two coastal states, to shape the future [22:55] administration of the strait. Washington wants safe passage without turning the revolutionary [23:01] guards into the gatekeepers of global energy. This is not a minor disagreement over wording. It will [23:07] determine whether the agreement restores freedom of navigation or recognizes a new Iranian role [23:14] over an international waterway. Matty, back to you. Thank you very much, Ashley. Alex, guys, show [23:23] some love to Ashley in the comment section. Now, let's get back to the news. Iranian propaganda is [23:29] already presenting American force protection as defeat. Moshin Razi, a former commander of the [23:36] Revolutionary Guards, claims Washington considered using 40,000 to 50,000 troops in a ground and [23:43] airborne operation to seize Homus and strike nuclear facilities. He also claims Iranian attacks [23:50] forced American commanders and forces to retreat across the region. No public American evidence [23:56] confirms those claims. They're tan's version of events designed to portray every American [24:02] repositioning as a collapse. The propaganda is still built around a real vulnerability. [24:08] American bases near Iran are exposed to missiles and drones. Saudi Arabia, Qatal, Jordan, Kuwait, [24:16] and the United Arab Emirates understand that a major American attack could bring Iranian [24:21] retaliation onto their territory. That fear is one reason Gulf leaders continue demanding a [24:27] diplomatic exit. And inside Iran, President Masoud Peshan says his country does not want to widen the [24:35] war, but will defend its borders. Reports about repeated resignation threats and a confrontation [24:42] with hardline officials are denied by his office. The reports may reflect a real struggle, political [24:49] pro propaganda, or a combination of the two. Whatever is happening inside the leadership, the [24:56] revolutionary guards still possess the weapons, the proxy relationships, and economic power [25:02] required to continue the confrontation. Every side is speaking about an agreement while preparing for [25:08] its collapse. Will the next launch come from Iran, Yemen, or the new operational front being built [25:15] inside Iraq? Guys, keep spreading the truth. Follow us. Most importantly, don't forget to [25:21] click the subscribe button so that you stay tuned into the truth in real time and never miss Boots [25:26] on the ground. Go [25:39] to the comment section and tell us where you are in the world and how you're praying for what's [25:44] happening in this part of the world on an active basis. We are not called to be passive bystanders. [25:50] We're not called to be observers. We're not called to be only monks that pray in the mountains and [25:55] the cliffs and the caves. We are called to change and transform this earth. And part of [26:00] the way we're called to do that is by praying on a regular basis. So I challenge every one of you. [26:06] Yes. Yes. You at home to pray daily for what's happening in this part of the world. Remember, [26:12] God is sovereign. God tells us what he's going to do. He then does it. He's been faithful to Israel [26:18] through scripture and through history and even today. And what we're witnessing in front of our [26:22] eyes is his will unfolding. So, keep praying for Israel. Keep praying for our leadership, President [26:29] Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu. Even if we disagree, they're still the appointed leaders. And [26:34] they need our prayer. They need our support. They need to be upheld and hope and pray that they make [26:40] the wisest decision in this very important battle against the evil of our time, the Iranian regime, [26:47] the Ayatollas, the IRGC that lead the country. and pray if you don't know how to pray for God's [26:52] will to be done on earth as it is up in heaven. Be blessed and I'll see you all the next time. Hello, [27:00] this is Mati here in Jerusalem with TBN Israel. This is Yaya Pinto from TVN Israel here in [27:06] Jerusalem.
