Transcript [00:00] Is Iran closing in on a nuclear bomb? Supreme Leader Much Bahamini has ordered the construction [00:07] of an atomic bomb. Israel and the United States are preparing for a strike on Iran. 3 days of [00:15] fire and their dramatic attack plan against Iran is being revealed. Amidst heightened tensions, [00:22] dozens of Israeli fighter jets flew as far as Iran's border before returning to Israel. [00:29] Is Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard core in trouble? The economic pressure and the American [00:34] blockade are taking their toll. It now appears that Iran's floating emergency oil reserves have [00:42] been completely depleted. Iranian oil exports to China have fallen to zero. Billions of dollars [00:49] have vanished and Iran's oil stockpiles are completely empty. President Donald Trump [00:56] believes the campaign against Iran will end very soon and promises that Iran will never [01:02] possess a nuclear weapon. The Houthis continue to fight Saudi Arabia with full force. This morning, [01:09] they launched a ballistic missile that struck the airport in Aden. And meanwhile, the United States [01:15] is secretly evacuating diplomats and troops from Jordan, Qatar, and Kuwait. Is Europe beginning [01:21] to understand Israel? The riots in Paris may not be proof of a religious revolution, [01:27] but they could signal a shift in thinking. Europe is beginning to realize that identity, borders, [01:35] and sovereignty can't be taken for granted and to see in a different light what Israel has always [01:42] known. An unprecedented threat from Gaza and the northern front on the brink [music] of eruption. [01:48] And overnight it was revealed that senior kamas terrorist leaders delivered a chilling threat [01:53] to Israel through a United Nations envoy. We are prepared to carry out another attack like [01:59] October the 7th. The organization is threatening operations inside Israel in Judea and Samaria and [02:06] even abroad. The warning was urgently passed to Israel's political and security leadership [02:12] as the IDF raised its alert level and continues operating against threats in Gaza. And in Lebanon, [02:19] is preparing for war. According to the latest reports, the organization has raised its alert [02:25] level, is rebuilding infrastructure in Beirut, and still possesses enough rockets, missiles, [02:31] and explosive drones to sustain months of fighting. Two tense fronts, two heavily armed [02:37] terrorist organizations, and growing fears of a regional escalation. I'm Mati Shosani. Here at [02:45] Boots on the Ground, we bring you the full truth about what's happening in Israel and [02:50] what's happening in our neighborhood, the Middle East. Today is October 22nd. Let's get started. [02:58] Today's report is made possible by our paid partner, Wise Money Israel, helping investors [03:03] around the world access opportunities in Israel's stock and bond markets. We'll tell you more about [03:10] them later in today's report, but in the meanwhile, visit wismoneyisrael.com/tbn. [03:17] Now, back to the news. Could the war with Iran resume before the elections in the United [03:23] States? Overnight, President Donald Trump issued a dramatic warning to Tehran. We're not negotiating [03:29] with Iran. Something is going to happen very soon, one way or another. And when asked whether [03:36] he would wait until after the election, Trump replied, "Most people think it will happen after [03:42] the elections. We'll see what happens." Behind the scenes, Israel and the United States are preparing [03:48] for a large-scale attack against Iran's nuclear facilities and missile systems. No final decision [03:55] has been made, but the clock is ticking towards war. So, is Iran just one step away from an atomic [04:01] bomb? And are Israel and the United States about to launch an attack that could change the Middle [04:07] East for good? A dramatic report reveals that Israeli Prime Minister Binyamo has disclosed that [04:13] Iran's Supreme Leader Much order the completion of a nuclear weaponization system, a critical step [04:21] towards turning nuclear material into an atomic bomb. Now, Iran currently possesses approximately [04:28] 450 kg of enriched uranium while the revolutionary guards are attempting to move con centrifuges and [04:36] nuclear infrastructure into four heavily protected sites deep underground. Now, Nataniel warned Iran [04:43] is once again trying to develop deadly bombs. He also announced that he had instructed the [04:49] IDF and Mossad to work towards bringing down the Iranian regime. And while Thran is trying to hide [04:55] its facilities underground, Israel is sending a military message through the skies. The Israeli [05:02] Air Force carried out a show of force designed to deter Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. [05:08] Dozens of Israeli fighter jets accompanied by refueling aircraft flew a mission covering [05:13] approximately 1,300 km, crossing Syrian and Iraqi airspace and approaching the Iranian border. [05:20] The aircraft then changed course and returned to Israel without carrying out a strike. [05:25] Israel informed American officials in advance and described the operation as a deterrence exercise. [05:32] But American officials fear that a single Iranian missile launched towards these aircraft could [05:38] have reignited the war. And in Washington, the next move is already being planned. [05:43] The IDF and the United States military have developed plans for a short intensive attack that [05:50] according to an intelligence assessment revealed today would last approximately 3 days. The targets [05:56] include nuclear facilities, missile and drone storage sites and strategic infrastructure [06:02] including the underground site known as Hal Hamakosh Pickax Mountain. The American military [06:07] is preparing a deployment involving three aircraft carriers, thousands of Marines, fighter jets, and [06:14] special forces. [snorts] Well, with preparations expected to be completed in early November, [06:20] Defense Secretary Pete Hagsith has already met with Netanyahu at Israel's Ova Air Base in a [06:26] special secret meeting. Now, at the same time, the United States is quietly reducing its military and [06:32] diplomatic presence in Jordan, Katal, Kuwait, and other countries. On the other hand, Iran is [06:39] threatening to turn the next war into regional disaster. Thran is warning of attacks against [06:44] American military bases, Saudi oil refineries, data centers, and undersea communications cables. [06:51] The Revolutionary Guards are also warning that the next confrontation will not end within 72 hours. [06:57] And on the economic front, the American naval blockade is hitting hard. According to US Central [07:03] Command, Iran has lost at least $25 billion in oil revenue, while the floating oil reserve it [07:10] used to sell for sales in China has been emptied. Now, it's important to understand that President [07:16] Trump is warning that something will happen in the fairly near future, but a final decision to [07:21] launch an attack has not yet been made. The reports mainly point to the period following [07:27] the November 3rd midterm elections. And look at what this means. We could be just one decision [07:33] or one military mistake away from a return to full-scale war with Iran. The Iranian threat is [07:39] already exploding on another front. Saudi Arabia's burning. Overnight, the Dam International Airport [07:46] came under attack. One person was killed and eight others were injured. Hours earlier, a drone [07:52] targeting an Aramco facility at the Shiba oil field was intercepted. But falling debris killed [07:59] two workers and injured two others. Now, Saudi Arabia reports intercepting 11 strikes in just [08:05] a handful of days. And in Yemen, the Iranianbacked Houthi terrorist organization claims it launched a [08:12] ballistic missile towards a Saudi command room at Bada camp in Aden near the airport. And meanwhile, [08:19] heavy fighting continues in the Taiz region. And now, Britain is entering the operation. [08:26] London has announced the deployment of fight Typhoon fighter jets to defend Saudi Arabia [08:32] against missiles and drones alongside military advisers and a transport aircraft. For now, [08:38] these are defensive missions only. Washington has already ordered non-essential personnel and [08:43] their families to leave Saudi Arabia. And another dramatic development, Turkey, Pakistan, Qatar, [08:50] and Indonesia have signed a new security agreement in DHA without Saudi Arabia. As the world watches [08:57] Iran, the war against its proxies in Yemen threatens to expand into a much larger regional [09:03] confrontation. Here at Boots on the Ground, we bring you the truth about what's happening [09:08] in Israel and the war against the revolutionary guards in Iran, the head of the axis of evil in [09:14] the Middle East. Now, did you know that you can now invest in Israel, home to one of [09:38] the world's most innovative economies, with the same ease as investing in American markets? Over [09:44] the last two years, Israel's Tel Aviv 35 stock index surged 167% in US dollar terms compared to [09:53] the S&P 500's 38% gain. And the outperformance is consistent over the 1, 2, 5, and 10year periods. [10:02] And since the mid202s, the shekele has appreciated 63% against the US dollar. That's why I'm excited [10:10] to introduce my trusted friends and paid sponsors, Wise Money Israel. While I'm not a client yet, [10:17] I've known their CEO and his family personally for years. Iran's [10:51] revolutionary guards are claiming that three vessels struck naval mines west of the straight [10:56] of Homus. They also say four oil related ships caught fire north in the Persian Gulf. These are [11:04] Iranian claims that have not been independently verified. Now, why is this narrow stretch of [11:09] water becoming one of the most dangerous places in the Middle East? Maritime authorities have [11:16] separately reported tankers struck by unidentified projectiles with their crews reported safe. The [11:22] United States is trying to keep international shipping moving through Homus while enforcing [11:27] its blockade on Iranian oil exports. Thran, meanwhile, is attempting to dictate which route [11:33] which routes vessels may use. An unidentified explosion at sea could bring American and Iranian [11:40] forces into direct confrontation before either government has time to establish exactly what [11:46] happened. And the military preparations on both sides are becoming increasingly serious. American [11:53] and Israeli commanders have developed options for another intensive military campaign inside [11:59] of Iran, including a possible operation lasting approximately 3 days. Potential targets include [12:07] nuclear installations, missile and drone stockpiles, and strategic infrastructure [12:12] connected to the Iranian regime. But President Donald Trump has not authorized the operation. [12:18] There are conflicting accounts about whether Washington stopped an earlier Israeli strike [12:23] plan. What is clear is that Trump retains the final decision over American military [12:29] involvement. And his latest statements leave Thran guessing. Trump says the conflict could [12:35] end soon. But he has also warned that something will happen in the near future, one way or the [12:41] other. The political calendar complicates the decision. Israel holds elections on October 27th, [12:48] while the American midterm elections take place on November 3rd. American preparations involve three [12:54] aircraft carriers, additional Marines, fighter aircraft, and special operation forces. Parts of [13:01] that deployment are not expected to be completed until early in November. Defense Secretary Pete [13:07] Hagsath has also met Prime Minister Binyamo at the Yova air base in southern Israel. The visit, [13:14] well, the vid's v visit coincided with an Israeli air force exercise in which fighter jets supported [13:19] by aerial refueling aircraft flew over Syria and Iraq towards Iran before turning back. American [13:27] officials were concerned that Iranian air defense systems could react to the approaching aircraft, [13:33] potentially triggering an unintended escalation. But the biggest question remains Iran's nuclear [13:39] program. Netanyao says Supreme Leader Much Bahamini has ordered work to be completed [13:45] with a weaponization system required to turn nuclear material into functioning atomic weapons. [13:51] Israeli intelligence assessments cited publicly describe approximately 450 kg of enriched uranium, [13:58] some of which remains buried underground. The Revolutionary Guards are also reportedly [14:04] attempting to relocate centrifuges and sensitive nuclear infrastructure into four protected [14:10] mountain sites. An important distinction, possessing enriched uranium doesn't automatically [14:16] mean Iran possesses a functioning nuclear bomb. The enrichment level, accessibility of the [14:22] material, and progress in weapons engineering all matter. Netanyahu has gone further, [14:28] directing Israel's military and intelligence services towards a strategic objective of [14:34] overthrowing the Iranian regime. One potential target illustrates the operational difficulty. [14:39] The deeply buried nuclear installation, nicknamed Pickax Mountain, has attracted American attention. [14:46] Trump has considered the enormous conventional weapon known as the mother of all bombs, [14:51] but its explosive power is primarily directed at the surface, and specialists doubt it could [14:57] penetrate the granite, protecting such a deep underground facility. The relatively slow [15:03] aircraft required to deliver it would also face potential Iranian air defense threats. Meanwhile, [15:09] Washington is already inflicting serious economic damage without launching another air strike. [15:15] Oil tracking analysts report that Iran's floating crude reserves near Malaysia and Singapore have [15:22] been exhausted. Those offshore inventories stood at approximately 133 35 million barrels when the [15:28] war began. They recovered to roughly or roughly 90 million during a temporary easing of the blockade [15:36] before falling below 1 million barrels in early October. This doesn't mean Iran has run out of [15:41] oil. Significant quantities remain inside Iran or stranded close to its coastline. But American [15:48] Central Command estimates the blockade has denied Thran at least 25 billion dollars in oil revenue. [15:57] Oil normally provides between 30 and 40% of Iranian government income. And meanwhile, the [16:03] real has lost approximately onethird of its value against the dollar since July. Chinese refineries [16:10] are already shifting towards alternative suppliers, including Brazil and West Africa. [16:15] Thran insists its economy remains resilient, but rebuilding damaged military infrastructure [16:21] becomes considerably harder when the government loses access to its principal source of foreign [16:26] currency. [17:20] Your support helps us continue bringing you the stories of Israel directly from the ground. Now, [17:26] back to the developing military situation. The confrontation is already spreading across the [17:30] Gulf. An attack on King Fi International Airport in Dam, Saudi Arabia, killed one person and [17:37] injured eight others. Saudi authorities have not publicly identified who carried out that [17:42] particular strike. Had the Aramco operated Shaiba oil fields, the breeze from an intercepted drone [17:48] killed two workers and injured two more. The Houthis continue threatening Saudi airports [17:54] and energy facilities. Washington has ordered some diplomatic personnel and families to leave Saudi [18:00] Arabia while quietly reducing its military and diplomatic exposure in Jordan, Qatar, [18:05] and Kuwait. Iranian officials have also threatened a much broader response if American and Israeli [18:12] strikes resume. Potential targets mentioned by Thran include American military bases, [18:18] Saudi oil refineries, major data centers, and undersea internet cables. One Iranian adviser [18:25] has dismissed the idea that the next confrontation could be settled within 72 hours. And Israel faces [18:31] another danger much closer to home. Remains armed in southern Lebanon and is reportedly rebuilding [18:38] military capabilities. Israel's defense minister has warned that ifah joins an Iranian attack, [18:44] the organization will face severe strikes and possible additional Israeli ground [18:49] operations in southern Lebanon. In Gaza, Hamas has delivered a particularly disturbing threat. Senior [18:56] Hamas officials told United Nations humanitarian coordinator Ramese Alakov that they are prepared [19:03] to repeat an October 7th style attack whenever possible, including inside Israel, the West Bank, [19:09] and abroad. The message was passed to Israel's senior political and security leadership. [19:15] That is an explicit threat. Although it does not establish that another such attack is imminent. [19:21] Hamas is also facing several financial and severe financial pressure. According to Israeli security [19:26] assessments, the organization needs approximately 90 million shekels every month to pay roughly [19:32] 30,000 employees and operatives while Israel and international mediators continue demanding [19:38] its disarmament. And thousands of miles away, Europe is experiencing a very different crisis. [19:44] Violent demonstrations in France have been accompanied by unrest in Milan, [19:49] Italy, and Tana, Albania. The French protests began overcrowded schools, teacher shortages, [19:55] and rising living costs. Some demonstrations subsequently deteriorated into widespread looting, [20:02] arson, and clashes with the police. An unusual slogan combining Arabic and French. [20:12] I guess that's how you said it. Let me know in the comments how it's supposed to be said has become [20:17] a sarcastic expression among student protesters. It mocks what students suspect was an attempt by [20:23] police to infiltrate their private online groups. That suspicion remains unproven. President Trump [20:29] argues that immigration and radical Islam are major factors behind France's unrest. [20:36] And President Emanuel Makon of France rejects that interpretation and accuses foreign political [20:41] figures of spreading misleading information including AI generated images. French left-wing [20:48] leader Jeanluke Melanchon has accused Natao of interfering in French politics. American [20:54] commentator Tucker Carlson has also attacked Netanyahu, accusing the Israeli prime minister [21:00] of exploiting France's suffering to advance his own political arguments. Yet an extraordinary [21:05] diplomatic contradiction is emerging. Despite the increasingly hostile exchanges between the [21:11] political leadership, Israel's Shinbet director Davididzini reportedly traveled to Paris and [21:16] met senior officials from France's domestic and foreign intelligence services. Their discussion [21:22] included counterterrorism and Islamist radicalization. A synagogue in Paris's 19th [21:28] district was also vandalized during the unrest, although the motive has not been established. [21:34] With approximately half a million Jews living in France, the crisis has renewed debate in Israel [21:40] over encouraging immigration. One proposal calls for a six-month national initiative linking French [21:46] Jewish families with employment, housing, and professional opportunities in Israel. For now, the [21:52] American and Israeli military options are becoming more detailed, while Iran threatens to expand the [21:58] battlefield far beyond its borders. Will the next escalation begin with a deliberate discussion [22:04] or decision in Washington or with an unexpected confrontation that neither side can control?
