Transcript [00:00] What happens when the mother of all [00:03] bombs meets the father of all missiles? [00:07] Are we about to witness a military [00:09] confrontation unlike anything the world [00:12] has seen before? Iran has identified one [00:15] of the world's greatest vulnerabilities. [00:18] And now it's threatening to strike. The [00:21] revolutionary guards are identifying a [00:23] new target, the undersea internet cables [00:27] used by America's biggest technology [00:29] companies. Did American forces attack [00:32] the Konarak naval base in southeastern [00:35] Iran? [music] Tehran claims they did, [00:38] but Washington is denying it. The Arab [00:41] world is holding its breath. Is zero [00:44] hour approaching? Is America's objective [00:48] no longer just to damage Iran's nuclear [00:50] program, but to deliver a blow powerful [00:53] enough to shake the rule of the Islamic [00:55] Revolutionary Guard Corps? US Defense [00:58] Secretary Pete Hagsath made an announce [01:01] unannounced visit to Israel and met with [01:04] Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyao. On the [01:07] agenda, the possibility of restarting [01:09] the war against Iran. And Israel is [01:13] making its position clear to Thran. We [01:16] are prepared to strike even without [01:18] American support. Submarines working for [01:21] the Houthis today will reveal how Iran [01:24] is reportedly trying to bypass the naval [01:27] blockade and smuggle weapons to the [01:30] Houthis beneath the surface of the sea, [01:33] allowing them to continue their war [01:34] against Saudi Arabia. And the war in [01:37] Yemen is expanding, but Saudi Arabia's [01:39] potential partners are still struggling [01:41] to build a united front. Egypt and the [01:44] United Arab Emirates may be moving off [01:47] the sidelines, but conflicting [01:49] interests, mutual suspicion, and [01:52] America's reluctance to intervene [01:54] directly are making a coordinated [01:56] military campaign against the Houthis [01:59] extremely difficult. And following the [02:02] Houthi attacks, a devastating blow to [02:05] Muhammad bin Salman's economic vision. [02:08] Saudi Arabia has postponed its major [02:11] international investment conference [02:13] until 2027 [02:15] and a secret listening device hidden in [02:18] toilet paper. Today, we'll also examine [02:21] the Saudi connection to the espionage [02:23] scandal rocking the American technology [02:25] company Open AI. Who is the suspect? [02:30] What was he he allegedly trying to [02:32] record? And how did a member of the [02:34] Saudi royal family become linked to the [02:37] investigation? [02:38] And a mysterious discovery in a [02:42] stronghold. A tunnel has been uncovered [02:45] and an unidentified man reportedly fled [02:48] the scene. Authorities have not yet [02:51] established who owns the tunnel, but the [02:53] questions are already mounting. And of [02:56] course, we'll examine the severe warning [02:58] the United States has delivered to [03:00] Lebanon and the terrorist organization. [03:03] Ifah joins a war alongside Iran, the [03:06] consequences could be devastating. All [03:09] the details are coming up soon. I'm Mati [03:12] Shosani joined by Ashley Alex. And here [03:15] on Boots on the Ground, we bring you the [03:17] full truth about what's happening in [03:19] Israel and the full truth about what's [03:21] happening in our neighborhood, the [03:23] Middle East. Today is Tuesday, October [03:26] the 20th, 2026. [03:28] Let's get started. Today's report is [03:31] made possible by our partner, Vignia, an [03:34] Israeli wellness brand with products [03:35] designed to support energy, focus, and [03:39] everyday performance. We'll tell you [03:40] more about Vignia later in today's [03:43] report. But in the meanwhile, visit [03:45] vignettbnisrael.com. [03:48] Back to the news. A dramatic security [03:51] development in Israel. US Defense [03:53] Secretary Pete Hagsath made an [03:55] unannounced visit to Israel and met with [03:58] Prime Minister Binyam Netanyahu at the [04:00] Ovda Air Base in southern Israel. What [04:03] was so urgent and why was this meeting [04:06] kept out of the public eye? Details of [04:09] the visit only emerged overnight. Prime [04:12] Minister Netanyahu flew to the base [04:14] aboard a private aircraft for an [04:16] unusually lengthy meeting. According to [04:19] reports, Israeli Defense Ministry is [04:21] Salad Katz and senior security officials [04:24] also participated. Another report [04:26] suggests that representatives from the [04:28] United Arab Emirates were present as [04:31] well. And look, this is not just another [04:34] military base. American fighter jets and [04:37] aerial refueling aircraft are stationed [04:39] at OVDA. Hags also met with American [04:43] troops serving at the base. And this [04:46] visit comes at precisely the moment when [04:49] the Pentagon and US Central Command are [04:52] preparing for scenarios involving [04:54] renewed military strikes against Iran. [04:57] The United States has already moved [04:58] additional forces and military equipment [05:01] into the region. And according to [05:03] reports, American aircraft carriers and [05:06] naval strike forces are also being [05:08] positioned for potential operations. And [05:11] Israel is raising its alert level. IDF [05:14] Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Ayal [05:16] Zamil has ordered military-wide leave [05:19] restrictions beginning this Thursday, [05:22] October 22nd, alongside additional troop [05:26] deployments and preparations across [05:28] multiple fronts ahead of Israel's [05:31] elections on October 27th. And [05:34] meanwhile, in the Strait of Humus, [05:36] reports are emerging about another [05:38] military incident. Iranian media claim [05:41] that the United States attacked the [05:43] Konarak naval base in southeastern Iran. [05:46] But an American official is rejecting [05:49] the report, saying the allegation is [05:51] inaccurate [05:53] and the revolutionary guards are [05:55] revealing an entirely new category of [05:57] threat. A spokesman for the organization [06:01] has identified seven undersea [06:03] communication cables running through the [06:05] straight of Humu's area and declaring [06:08] new targets and new weapons will be [06:11] revealed. In other words, the Iranian [06:13] threat is no longer limited to ships, [06:15] oil facilities or military bases. Thran [06:18] is now identifying the digital nervous [06:20] system of the global economy as a [06:23] potential target. data centers, [06:26] artificial intelligence infrastructure, [06:28] and undersea internet cables all are [06:31] being discussed as possible targets in [06:33] the fighting and if the fighting [06:35] resumes. Meanwhile, President Donald [06:38] Trump is escalating his rhetoric. Trump [06:41] is accusing the Iranian regime of [06:43] brutally repressing its own citizens, [06:46] claiming that tens of thousands of [06:47] people have been killed during protest. [06:51] He's also attacking NATO countries that [06:53] according to him refused to help the [06:55] United States during the confrontation. [06:58] And look at what's happening inside [07:00] Iran. American economic pressure [07:02] combined with a tightening naval [07:04] blockade is deepening Thran's financial [07:06] crisis. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard [07:09] Corps is scrambling for resources and [07:12] funds to keep its military establishment [07:14] and regional network operating. Now, [07:17] according to Iraqi sources, pro-Iranian [07:20] militias are already cutting financial [07:23] allowances to their own fighters and [07:25] sending money back to the revolutionary [07:28] guards. Think about the irony. For [07:31] years, Thran financed its proxies across [07:34] the Middle East. And now, according to [07:36] these reports, some of those very [07:37] militias are being asked to send money [07:40] back to the regime that used to bankroll [07:42] them. And behind the scenes, a [07:45] diplomatic effort is underway to prevent [07:47] another war. Russia, Pakistan, and Qatar [07:50] are attempting to advance talks while [07:53] China is condemning American and Israeli [07:55] strikes against Iran. But can this [07:58] diplomacy really stop the next military [08:00] campaign? In just a moment, we'll [08:02] examine the military preparations and [08:05] explain why there is growing concern [08:07] that the revolutionary guards could face [08:09] an even more devastating blow than they [08:12] suffered in previous rounds of fighting. [08:15] So, is the unannounced meeting at OVA [08:17] air base simply another demonstration of [08:20] American deterrence or preparation for [08:23] an entirely new military operation? [08:25] Washington emphasizes that Trump has not [08:28] yet authorized another strike. But [08:30] Israel, well, we're already preparing [08:33] for the possibility that it may have to [08:35] act without American participation. And [08:38] while the world watches the clock in [08:40] Washington and Tehran, another front is [08:43] already burning. Let's turn to the [08:46] battlefield that could ignite the entire [08:49] region before the White House even [08:51] decides whether to launch another attack [08:53] against Iran. [08:55] Saudi Arabia where the war against the [08:58] Houthis is approaching a boiling point. [09:02] A dramatic military development in Saudi [09:05] Arabia. Iran working behind the scenes [09:07] to support its Houthi proxy is changing [09:10] the rules of engagement. According to a [09:12] new report, small submarines are being [09:15] used to smuggle advanced weapons and [09:18] components to the Houthis beneath the [09:20] surface of the sea, allowing the [09:22] smugglers to try to evade naval patrols [09:25] and the blockade. And according to [09:27] intelligence reports, the Islamic [09:29] Revolutionary Guard Corps is supplying [09:31] the Houthis with intelligence, with [09:34] missile guidance systems, and direct [09:36] assistance in selecting targets deep [09:38] inside Saudi Arabia. And the results are [09:42] deadly. At least 53 soldiers were killed [09:45] and approximately 200 others wounded in [09:48] a Houthi missile strike against a [09:50] military training camp in Yemen's Shaoba [09:52] province. And meanwhile, attacks against [09:55] airports, oil facilities, and Saudi [09:57] infrastructure continue while the Houthi [10:00] strengthen their grip around the [10:02] strategic Babin Mandab Strait. And now a [10:05] new regional front is beginning to take [10:07] shape against them. [10:11] The United Arab Emirates is preparing to [10:13] resume support for ground forces in [10:15] Yemen alongside Saudi Aerial protection. [10:18] What about Egypt? President Abd Fatakisi [10:22] has expressed willingness to help defend [10:25] the kingdom, but the financial cost, the [10:27] military risks, and the possibility of a [10:30] long-term commitment are generating [10:32] serious disagreements in Cairo. The [10:35] Egyptian Parliament has postponed its [10:38] vote on deploying troops until October [10:41] 26, leaving Muhammad bin Salman for now [10:44] without the direct Egyptian military [10:45] participation he was so hoping to [10:48] secure. Pakistan and Turkey have [10:50] expressed commitment to assist Riyad [10:53] through their security partnership, but [10:55] we still haven't seen their troops [10:57] entering direct ground combat. And look [11:00] at the economic price Saudi Arabia is [11:02] paying. The kingdom has postponed its [11:04] major international investment [11:05] conference, the future investment [11:08] initiative, also known as Davos in the [11:10] desert, until 2027. The event was [11:13] originally scheduled to take place in [11:15] Riyad from October 26th through the 20 [11:18] 29th. It's one of the most prominent [11:21] symbols of Muhammad bin Salman's vision [11:23] 2030. And now amid Houthi attacks and [11:27] growing concerns over the safety of [11:29] international participants, one of the [11:32] kingdom's flagship initiatives has [11:34] suffered a serious setback. And then [11:37] comes the biggest surprise. Israel [11:40] enters the picture. President Trump has [11:42] revealed that Israel is already helping [11:44] Saudi Arabia in its confrontation with [11:46] the Houthis. He also believes that the [11:49] path towards normalization between the [11:51] two countries could reopen. Could the [11:54] Iranian threat actually bring Israel and [11:56] Saudi Arabia into a closer strategic [11:59] partnership after years of tensions and [12:01] disagreements? Coming up, we'll reveal [12:04] how Iran is arming the Houthis, which [12:08] militaries are preparing to confront [12:09] them, and whether this war could bring [12:12] Israel and Saudi Arabia closer to a [12:15] historic military partnership. And in [12:18] Lebanon, the warnings are becoming even [12:20] more severe. Israel is delivering a [12:23] blunt warning to the terrorist [12:25] organization. Defense Minister Isal Katz [12:28] is making it clear if joins the war [12:30] alongside Iran, the IDF is prepared to [12:33] expand its security zone in southern [12:35] Lebanon and advance towards Nabatier and [12:38] the Leitani River region. Washington is [12:41] also warning the Lebanese government [12:43] that ifah opens another front, Israel [12:46] could respond with overwhelming force. [12:49] And today, Tuesday, October 20th, [12:52] military talks between Israel and [12:55] Lebanese representatives are scheduled [12:57] to take place in Florida under American [13:00] mediation. At the center of those [13:02] discussions are security arrangements, [13:04] the deployment of the Lebanese armed [13:06] forces, and the dismantling of weapons [13:10] infrastructure. And meanwhile, the [13:13] Lebanese government is fighting to keep [13:15] UNIFIL peacekeeping forces in southern [13:18] Lebanon. The force's current mandate is [13:21] scheduled to expire on December 31st, [13:23] 2026, after which its withdrawal process [13:27] is expected to begin. That raises an [13:30] enormous question. Who will fill the [13:32] security vacuum if continues to rearm [13:36] and the Lebanese military is unable to [13:38] establish full control over the south? [13:40] Can the Lebanese government finally [13:43] bring under control? Or will the [13:45] organization drag the entire country [13:47] into another devastating war with [13:49] Israel? And a brief update from France [13:52] where the streets are still burning. A [13:55] new investigation is revealing the [13:57] network of organizations involved in the [13:59] wave of protest shaking the country. And [14:02] it turns out this story goes far beyond [14:04] an ordinary student demonstration. [14:07] According to an investigation by Fox [14:09] News Digital, no fewer than 54 [14:12] organizations and movements were [14:15] identified within the wider protest [14:17] network, including groups involved in [14:19] organizing, supporting, and amplifying [14:21] the demonstrations. And only 16 of those [14:24] organizations are youth or student [14:26] groups. [14:28] Among those identified are communist [14:30] movements, radical left-wing [14:33] organizations, labor unions, Muslim [14:36] student groups, and pro Palestinian [14:38] activists. [14:40] Palestinian flags have appeared [14:41] alongside communist symbols at the [14:43] demonstrations. However, the fact that [14:46] an organization appears in the [14:48] investigation doesn't by itself prove [14:50] that its members organized or [14:52] participated in the violence. But look [14:54] at what's happening on the ground. The [14:57] situation is serious. Thousands of [14:59] people have been arrested. Luxury stores [15:01] have been looted and merchandise [15:03] suspected of being stolen is already [15:05] being offered for sale online. Partial [15:08] nighttime curfews and restrictions on [15:11] gatherings have been imposed in parts of [15:14] Paris and other cities while the French [15:16] government prepares additional measures [15:18] to restore control of the streets. And [15:22] President Trump is weighing in as well, [15:24] warning Mcron that France's immigration [15:26] policies are putting the country's [15:28] future at risk. Is an economic protest [15:31] turning into a much broader ideological [15:33] struggle? One that could set all of [15:36] Europe on fire. And what is connecting [15:39] or connection between radical left-wing [15:41] organizations, pro Palestinian [15:43] activists, and the international support [15:45] networks amplifying these protests? We [15:48] have a lot more to cover, so let's [15:50] continue with all the details. Once [15:53] again, I'm Mati Shosani, joined by [15:55] Ashley Alex, and here on Boots on the [15:57] Ground, we bring you the full truth [15:58] about what's happening in Israel, and [16:01] the war against Iran's revolutionary [16:03] guards, the driving force behind the [16:05] Middle East axis of evil. But before we [16:08] continue, I want to encourage you to [16:10] keep spreading the truth. Share our [16:12] content with as many people as possible. [16:14] Hit that subscribe button and most [16:17] importantly, don't forget to follow me, [16:19] Mati Shashani, alongside Yael Pinto, on [16:23] social media so you can see through our [16:26] eyes what it's like to live in Israel [16:28] under war. Now, before we continue, many [16:32] families are still juggling reserve duty [16:35] while trying to get back to work and [16:37] handle their dayto-day lives. It isn't [16:40] easy. Your body is tired, your mind's [16:42] overloaded, and the pressure doesn't [16:44] stop when the uniform comes off. I have [16:47] been there. Coming home from reserves, [16:49] trying to be present for my family, [16:51] catching up at work, while still feeling [16:53] like I'm on survival mode. It takes [16:55] strength, energy, and faith to push [16:58] through. That's why I started using [17:00] Vignia, actually well before the war. [17:02] It's an Israeli supplement made from red [17:04] grape cells that helps improve blood [17:06] flow to your heart, your brain, and [17:08] muscles. And for me, that meant better [17:11] focus, more energy, and fewer days of [17:13] that foggy, burnt out feeling. I started [17:16] using it during reserve duty, and I'm [17:18] still taking it today. I like the coffee [17:21] version of the morning. Some people go [17:23] for the tea or capsules, but either way, [17:25] it works. And if you want to give it a [17:27] try, go to vignia tbnisrael.com [17:30] or call 8006381944. [17:34] Faith helped me stay grounded and Vineia [17:37] helped me stay sharp. Now back to the [17:39] news. Three Houthi ballistic missiles [17:43] struck a military training camp in [17:44] Yemen's Shaoba province, killing at [17:47] least 53 people and wounding more than [17:50] 200. The attack hit newly recruited [17:53] security personnel during training at [17:55] the Elam camp, excuse me, the Elam camp. [17:59] The Houthis claimed the responsibility, [18:02] alleging that Saudi officers operated [18:04] the facility, although that allegation [18:06] has not been independently confirmed. [18:08] Now, why does this attack matter beyond [18:10] Yemen? Because as Israel and the United [18:13] States consider their next steps against [18:15] Iran, Thran's regional allies are [18:18] demonstrating their ability to inflict [18:19] serious military and economic damage. [18:22] Ashley Alex has been following the [18:25] developments. Ashley, take it from here. [18:29] >> Thank you, Matty. The attack in Shabwa [18:32] exposes a serious problem for Yemen's [18:35] internationally recognized government. [18:38] The three missiles hit a facility where [18:40] new recruits were being trained for [18:43] future deployment. The government has [18:45] now requested additional air defense [18:47] assistance to protect its forces. And [18:50] new intelligence reporting suggests Iran [18:52] has been finding ways to maintain [18:54] weapons deliveries to the Houthis [18:57] despite maritime restrictions. [19:00] European and regional officials [19:02] described the suspected use of small [19:04] submarines to transport military [19:07] supplies toward Yemen. Traditional [19:09] shipments relied on fishing vessels and [19:12] small cargo boats. Those routes have [19:15] faced increasing surveillance and [19:17] interception. [19:19] The reported underwater shipments could [19:21] help explain how Iranian weapons [19:23] continue reaching the Houthis. Although [19:25] specific submarine types and shipments [19:28] have not been publicly verified, [19:31] Iranian personnel have also reportedly [19:34] supplied targeting intelligence, [19:36] technical training, and missile [19:38] components. [19:39] Saudi Arabia is now experiencing the [19:41] consequences. Houthi missile and drone [19:44] attacks have repeatedly threatened [19:46] airports and energy infrastructure, [19:48] including facilities around Riyad. The [19:51] Saudi government has suffered a major [19:53] economic setback. Its future investment [19:56] initiative conference has been postponed [19:58] until 2027. [20:00] Originally scheduled for October 26th [20:03] through the 29th, the event was expected [20:05] to attract senior executives from JP [20:08] Morgan, Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Black [20:11] Rockck. The cancellation of such a major [20:14] gathering undermines Crown Prince [20:17] Muhammad bin Salman's effort to attract [20:20] international investment under vision [20:22] 2030 and the response from Saudi [20:25] Arabia's regional partners remains [20:27] uncertain. Egyptian President Abdel [20:30] Fatal Cece has promised support for the [20:33] kingdom security, but the Egyptian [20:35] Parliament postponed its vote on [20:37] military deployment until October 26th. [20:41] A deployment requires a twothirds [20:43] majority. [20:45] Opposition lawmakers want more [20:46] information about the mission's [20:48] objectives, duration, financial costs, [20:51] and risks to Egyptian soldiers. The [20:54] United Arab Emirates is also considering [20:56] expanded support for Yemeni forces. [20:59] President Trump has suggested Israel is [21:01] already providing assistance to Saudi [21:04] Arabia against the Houthis, although he [21:06] has not publicly detailed that [21:07] cooperation. [21:09] The possibility of closer Israeli Saudi [21:11] coordination is strategically [21:13] significant, but it should not be [21:15] confused with a formal alliance. And [21:18] this brings us to the unusual American [21:20] military visit to Israel. Defense [21:23] Secretary Pete Hersef met Prime Minister [21:25] Benjamin Netanyahu at of the air base [21:28] where American fighter jets and aerial [21:30] refueling aircraft are deployed. The [21:33] meeting reportedly lasted more than two [21:35] hours and representatives of the United [21:37] Arab Emirates were also reportedly [21:39] present. [21:41] Netanyahu traveled to the base by [21:43] private aircraft while Hexath met [21:46] American troops stationed there. Why [21:48] does OVA matter? Aerial refueling [21:52] aircraft are essential for extending the [21:54] operational reach of combat aircraft, [21:57] especially during sustained missions [21:59] over long distances. But the presence of [22:02] those aircraft does not prove an attack [22:04] is imminent. The meeting took place [22:07] after discussions between Netanyahu and [22:09] Trump about possible renewed strikes [22:11] against the Iranian military and nuclear [22:14] facilities. [22:15] Israeli intelligence has reportedly [22:17] raised concerns that Tyran is attempting [22:20] to restore elements of its nuclear [22:22] program. Netanyahu has publicly declared [22:25] that Israel is prepared to act alone if [22:28] necessary. [22:29] Inside Washington, however, there are [22:31] competing considerations. [22:34] Hegath and senior American military [22:36] commanders reportedly support [22:38] maintaining strong military options, [22:40] while other presidential advisers favor [22:42] additional economic and diplomatic [22:44] pressure. [22:46] Trump has indicated that another major [22:48] American operation should not begin [22:50] before the November 3rd midterm [22:52] elections. The American president has [22:55] also endorsed Netanyahu ahead of [22:57] Israel's October 27th election. Vice [23:00] President JD Vance, however, declined to [23:03] endorse Netanyahu, saying he prefers to [23:05] concentrate on American candidates. That [23:08] political difference does not establish [23:10] a disagreement about operational plans, [23:12] but it demonstrates the complicated [23:14] political environment surrounding [23:16] another potential war. Meanwhile, [23:19] Iranian officials are reporting an [23:21] alleged American attack inside their [23:24] country. Iranian media claim that two [23:27] short range missiles struck a 35 mm gun [23:30] position at the Connorak naval base in [23:35] injuring two service members. An [23:37] American official rejected the report as [23:39] inaccurate. The alleged attack remains [23:42] unverified and there has been no [23:44] confirmed announcement of a new American [23:47] strike inside Iran. Iranian officials [23:50] have nevertheless responded to Americans [23:52] threats with increasingly aggressive [23:54] language. One lawmaker threatened to use [23:57] what he called the father of all [24:00] missiles in response to discussion of [24:02] America's GBU43B, [24:05] better known as the mother of all bombs. [24:08] The American weapon is a massive [24:11] conventional explosive, not a nuclear [24:13] bomb. It also differs from specialized [24:16] bunker penetrating weapons intended to [24:19] attack deeply buried installations. [24:22] Iran's dramatic missile nickname, [24:24] meanwhile, is not proof of a newly [24:26] operational weapon system. Inside Tyran, [24:29] hardline voices are increasingly [24:31] debating whether Iran should openly [24:33] pursue nuclear weapons and the [24:35] revolutionary guards are now threatening [24:37] an entirely different category of [24:40] targets. [24:41] Spokesman Hussein Mohi warned that seven [24:44] major undersea communications cables [24:47] pass through the straight of Homos. [24:50] Iranian official Mosen Razi has also [24:52] raised the possibility of attacking data [24:55] centers and artificial intelligence [24:57] infrastructure. [24:58] These remain threats rather than [25:01] confirmed attacks. The danger is that [25:04] disruptions to critical communications [25:06] cables could affect financial [25:08] transactions and digital services well [25:10] beyond the Middle East. Iranian [25:13] authorities have also reportedly [25:15] blacklisted 122 vessels over alleged [25:18] violations of their maritime transit [25:20] requirements. The shipping situation is [25:23] already dangerous. Maritime monitoring [25:25] authorities recorded 12 attacks on [25:28] commercial vessels during the week [25:30] ending October 16th. Thran has offered [25:33] to restore more normal passage through [25:36] hum within 7 days if Washington accepts [25:39] conditions involving the maritime [25:41] blockade, Iranian oil exports and frozen [25:44] assets. Iran also wants hostilities [25:47] ended across other regional fronts, [25:50] including Lebanon and Gaza. Washington [25:53] has now accepted those conditions. [25:55] Russia is now attempting to influence [25:57] the diplomatic outcome. Foreign Minister [26:00] Sergey Lavrov arrived in Thran after [26:03] meetings with representatives of Gulf [26:05] countries in Bahrain. Those governments [26:07] want Moscow to encourage Iran to reduce [26:10] attacks and restore commercial shipping. [26:14] Lavrov confirmed that Russian nuclear [26:16] specialists are gradually returning to [26:18] the Busher nuclear power station. Busher [26:21] generates civilian electricity. The [26:24] return of Russian specialists is not [26:26] evidence that Iran has resumed producing [26:28] nuclear weapons. Moscow says it will [26:31] maintain its economic and nuclear [26:33] cooperation with Thran. China has [26:36] condemned that American Israeli campaign [26:38] while Pakistan and Qatar continue their [26:41] diplomatic efforts. Pakistan's army [26:44] chief General Asim Mun is expected to [26:47] hold further discussions with Iranian [26:49] officials. [26:51] Some accounts suggest negotiators have [26:53] narrowed their differences, but there is [26:55] no confirmed agreement ending the [26:57] crisis. [26:59] Before we continue, help us share the [27:01] truth from Israel. Like this report, [27:04] share it with someone who wants to [27:06] understand what's happening in the [27:07] Middle East and subscribe to Boots on [27:09] the Ground. Since October 7th, you've [27:12] followed us from Gaza, the Israel [27:14] Lebanon border, and the front lines of [27:16] this war. You've prayed for us and our [27:19] families through some of the hardest [27:21] days we've experienced, and those [27:24] prayers have kept us going. We've [27:26] watched God turn unimaginable challenges [27:29] into opportunities and witnessed [27:31] extraordinary miracles here in Israel. [27:35] That journey is now told in your ear [27:37] pinto's new book, Boots on the Ground. There's another [28:02] important sign of the pressure on Thran. [28:06] Iraqi sources say several Iranianbacked [28:08] militias have suspended additional [28:10] payments of up to $400 per fighter each [28:14] month. The funds are reportedly being [28:16] redirected to networks connected with [28:18] Iran's Revolutionary Guards. Estimates [28:22] suggest between $150 million and $200 [28:25] million has been redirected over 9 [28:28] months. The affected organizations [28:31] reportedly include Katib Hezbala, [28:34] Harakat al- Nujaba, and Katy Sahed al- [28:38] Shuada. [28:40] regular salaries paid through Iraq's [28:41] popular mobilization forces have [28:44] reportedly continued. So this is not [28:46] evidence that the militias have stopped [28:47] paying all their members. But if these [28:50] transfers are confirmed, they would [28:52] indicate unusual financial stress within [28:55] Iran's regional network. President Trump [28:58] has also intensified his criticism of [29:00] Tyran. Speaking in Kansas, he accused [29:03] the Iranian government of killing at [29:05] least 75,000 protesters over eight [29:08] months. a figure that has not been [29:10] independently verified. He recalled the [29:13] killing of Kud's force commander Kasim [29:16] Solammani in 2020 and accused Iran of [29:20] involvement in attacks that killed [29:21] American personnel. [29:23] Trump has also claimed he had tested [29:25] NATO allies by requesting assistance [29:28] against Iran and criticized their [29:30] response. Those statements show how the [29:33] president is presenting the [29:34] confrontation to American voters. Now [29:38] turn to Lebanon where security forces [29:40] have discovered a mysterious tunnel [29:43] inside a pine forest near Rosat Aljad in [29:47] the Metan district. An unidentified [29:50] individual reportedly fled when the [29:52] authorities arrived. Lebanese Army [29:55] intelligence has opened an [29:57] investigation, but the tunnel's owners [29:59] and purpose remain unknown. The [30:02] discovery follows another serious case [30:04] involving approximately 780 kg of [30:08] explosives seized at the Da Alba [30:11] checkpoint. The shipment reportedly [30:13] contained 250 kg of TNT and 250 kgs of [30:18] C4 plastic explosives. Hezbollah [30:22] representatives acknowledged that the [30:23] explosives belong to their organization [30:26] and demanded their return. There's no [30:29] established connection between that [30:30] shipment and the newly discovered [30:32] tunnel, but both incidents highlight the [30:35] struggle over armed organizations [30:37] operating outside Lebanese state [30:39] control. Washington has reportedly [30:42] warned Lebanese leaders that Hezbollah's [30:44] participation in another war involving [30:46] Iran could trigger an extensive Israeli [30:49] military response. [30:51] Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has [30:54] warned that renewed Hezbala attacks [30:56] could cause Israeli forces to advance [30:58] towards Nabete and the Leani River. [31:02] Israeli and Lebanese military [31:04] representatives are scheduled to meet in [31:06] Tampa, Florida under American mediation. [31:10] Lebanon is seeking Israeli withdrawal [31:12] and an end to military strikes. Israel [31:15] wants Hezbollah's armed infrastructure [31:17] dismantled. The negotiations also take [31:20] place as UNIFIL approaches the scheduled [31:23] conclusion of its mission at the end of [31:25] 2026. [31:27] Lebanese leaders want an international [31:29] presence to remain while their army [31:32] struggles to establish effective [31:33] authority across southern Lebanon. Syria [31:37] is undergoing a different kind of [31:39] transformation. A new study examined 130 [31:43] Syrian school textbooks for students in [31:46] grades 1 through 12. Under President [31:49] Ahmed al-Shara, much of the former Assad [31:52] government's ideology has been removed. [31:55] Iran and Hezbollah are now portrayed [31:57] negatively for supporting Assad while [31:59] Turkey receives more favorable [32:02] treatment. However, the study also [32:04] documents continued anti-semitic [32:06] stereotypes, hostility towards Israel, [32:09] glorification of jihad and martyrdom, [32:12] and weaker representation of women and [32:14] minority communities. Syria's political [32:17] alliances may have changed, but its new [32:19] schoolbooks have not yet established a [32:22] consistent message of religious [32:24] tolerance or coexistence. [32:26] There is also an extraordinary American [32:29] security case involving Saudi Arabia. A [32:32] former Open AI engineer Abdul Raman [32:34] Aluzan is accused of hiding a recording [32:37] device inside a roll of toilet paper in [32:40] an executive conference room. Federal [32:43] prosecutors alleged that he communicated [32:45] with a member of the Saudi royal family. [32:48] They also say a Saudi military official [32:50] paid for travel arrangements for his [32:53] wife and child following his arrest. [32:55] Those allegations do not establish that [32:58] the Saudi government directed the [33:00] alleged recording operation. Open AAI [33:03] says it has found no evidence that [33:05] sensitive company information was [33:07] removed. The criminal proceedings are [33:10] continuing. [33:11] And finally, Europe is facing another [33:14] dangerous wave of unrest. France has [33:17] imposed overnight curfews in parts of [33:19] Paris, including Pastel Republic and [33:22] Lehal, following violent demonstrations, [33:26] widespread looting, and attacks on [33:29] businesses. More than 2,400 people have [33:33] been arrested nationwide. An [33:35] investigation identified 54 [33:37] organizations and supporting networks [33:40] connected to the protest movement. Only [33:43] 16 were primarily youth or student [33:45] organizations. [33:47] The broader network includes communist [33:49] and socialist movements, labor unions, [33:52] pro Palestinian activists, Muslim [33:54] student organizations, and other [33:56] political groups. An international [33:59] coalition of 28 left-wing organizations [34:02] is also promoting coordinated protests [34:04] in 12 European countries. However, [34:07] identifying an organization within a [34:09] protest network does not establish that [34:11] it participated in violent crimes. The [34:15] original demonstrations involved serious [34:17] grievances about education, wages, [34:20] housing, and the rising cost of living. [34:23] After the riots, suspected stolen luxury [34:25] merchandise began appearing on resale [34:28] platforms. Vintage says it has removed [34:30] suspicious advertisements and increased [34:33] cooperation with French authorities. [34:36] Unrest has also affected Italy where [34:39] police clashed with demonstrators in [34:40] Milan, Tin and Bolognia. In Portugal and [34:44] Spain, housing costs are driving [34:46] protests. Belgian students are demanding [34:49] education reforms or demonstrators in [34:52] Albania are protesting corruption and [34:54] limited employment opportunities. [34:57] President Trump has blamed immigration [34:59] and extremist movements for France's [35:02] disorder and sharply criticized [35:04] President Emanuel Macron. But the [35:06] different causes behind these protests [35:08] cannot automatically be reduced to one [35:11] ideology or religious community. What [35:14] Europe is experiencing is a serious test [35:16] of public security, economic stability, [35:19] and political leadership. [35:22] Matty, back to you. [35:24] >> Thank you, Ashley. Now back to the news. [35:28] Here in Israel, the military is taking [35:30] additional precautions as the election [35:32] season approaches. Chief of Staff [35:35] Lieutenant General Ayal Zamir has [35:37] ordered leave restrictions across the [35:39] IDF beginning on Thursday, October 22nd. [35:42] Senior commanders are increasing their p [35:45] their presence at operational [35:47] headquarters while additional troops [35:49] reinforce central command including [35:52] areas in Judea and Samaria. The military [35:54] has also strengthened readiness across [35:56] multiple fronts. The IDF says its [35:59] mission is to ensure that Israel's [36:01] October 27th elections take place safely [36:04] and on schedule. And importantly, the [36:07] military has not announced specific [36:09] intelligence confirming an imminent [36:11] Iranian attack. But for families here in [36:13] Israel, military readiness is part of [36:16] everyday life. Soldiers remain prepared [36:18] while civilian civilians continue [36:20] working, raising their children, and [36:23] planning for the future. The next [36:25] escalation could come from Iran, [36:27] Lebanon, Yemen, or a decision taken in [36:30] Washington. Will the negotiations [36:33] prevent another regional war? Or will [36:35] the next military incident force leaders [36:37] to make a decision they have been trying [36:39] to avoid? So keep spreading the truth. That you protect the American [37:08] soldiers stationed in this region and [37:10] that you give wisdom, supernatural [37:12] wisdom, to our leaders, Prime Minister [37:14] Netanyahu, President Trump, and those [37:17] who are fighting this war against the [37:19] greatest evil of our time, the biblical [37:21] adversary, the biblical evil that is the [37:23] regime of Iran. And as always, we ask [37:25] for your peace and protection over the [37:27] people of Israel. Be blessed and we'll [37:30] see you all the next time.
