TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto reports on the Israel-Iran and regional war. Iran continues enriching uranium inside the secret underground facility known as “Mount Pickaxe” — the Mountain of the Pickaxe. Israeli intelligence is watching closely, as reports warn the site may contain thousands of centrifuges and enriched uranium in a facility deeper and more fortified than Fordow. The Revolutionary Guards want an atomic bomb, and Israel has not yet said its final word. After 30 attacks in just 72 hours by pro-Iranian Shiite militias, the United States and Saudi Arabia carried out a dramatic joint response in Iraq. Approximately 20 Iranian advisers were eliminated in strikes targeting militia bases and command centers used to launch missiles and drones toward American forces, Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Iran’s escalation has now reached Egypt. A gas tanker was attacked by Iranian drones at the Port of Damietta during the unloading of a gas shipment, with reports saying the tanker was American-owned. At the same time, the battle over the Strait of Hormuz continues, as Iran tries to use shipping lanes, oil facilities, and energy markets as weapons against the United States and the Gulf states. Iran is sending a message to Riyadh. Iraqi militias and the Houthis have attacked Saudi oil facilities in Yanbu and Jizan, while Iran signals that any pressure around Hormuz will drive oil prices higher and create political pressure on Washington. Saudi Arabia is now making clear that attacks on civilian infrastructure are a red line. Israel is preparing a response after a Hezbollah explosive drone struck an IDF engineering vehicle in the Ali Taher Ridge area of southern Lebanon, violating the ceasefire. No casualties were reported, but the IDF is now marking Hezbollah tunnels in the area as a possible target. Blowing up those tunnels could become the opening point for renewed fighting in Lebanon. The Houthi terrorist organization in Yemen is now considering charging fees to commercial vessels passing through the Bab al-Mandab Strait. After declaring a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia, the Houthis may be trying to turn Iran’s maritime terrorism into a permanent economic weapon threatening global trade.
