IRAN: The Israeli Air Force and Israel’s air defense systems are on maximum alert, while readiness has also increased along the Lebanese border. The United States military stands ready, with its finger on the trigger, after a planned strike on Iran was stopped at the last moment by President Donald Trump — on the condition that an agreement is signed quickly. TRUMP / IRAN: Tehran is now mocking Washington and claiming that “Trump backed down.” But the report asks whether this was a retreat, a bluff, or a calculated strategy designed to divide Iran from within, pressure the regime, and keep the military threat alive while negotiations continue. HORMUZ / NUCLEAR THREAT: Trump claims the outlines of a new agreement include the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and an end to the Iranian nuclear threat. But no signed document, timetable, or verification mechanism has been published, and Iran has not publicly confirmed that it accepted the demands. In Israel, officials remain on high alert and warn that the attack has only been frozen — not canceled. IRAN’S WAR PLAN: During the ceasefire, Iran developed an organized plan for a broader war designed to make any renewed American attack as costly as possible. The plan connects multiple fronts, including shipping routes, energy infrastructure, militias in Iraq, the Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and attacks meant to raise the economic and military price for the United States and its allies. LEBANON: Over the weekend, the IDF continued dismantling Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon. Four Hezbollah terrorists emerged from a tunnel in the Ali Taher Ridge and attempted to escape through an area where Israeli forces are operating. IDF troops opened fire, eliminated two terrorists, and continued searching for the others. An Israeli combat officer was moderately wounded in the clash. SYRIA / IRAQ: A new front may be forming along the Iraqi-Syrian border. The al-Sharaa regime in Damascus issued an unusual ultimatum and deployed large forces after threats of an invasion by pro-Iranian Shiite militias from Iraq. Damascus warned that any attack launched from Iraqi territory will be met with live fire — a development that could ignite a new regional war front. GAZA: Hamas continues trying to operate under civilian cover and bypass the demilitarization process, even as the Peace Council prepares for possible implementation of the 15-point document to end the fighting in Gaza. In addition, a Nukhba terrorist who raided Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7 was eliminated.
