The goal is to reduce the risk of an Iranian missile and drone saturation attack that could destroy aircraft on the ground and trigger a broader war. American air assets stationed in Israel remain excluded from the plan in order to preserve military pressure if diplomacy fails. Drama is unfolding inside Tehran. Mojtaba Khamenei is shaking up the leadership and becoming the most powerful figure behind the scenes. The Revolutionary Guards are now the real rulers of Iran, shaping foreign policy, managing the confrontation with the United States, and defining the limits of the negotiations. The IDF is striking Hezbollah tunnels in southern Lebanon, where dozens of terrorists are reportedly trapped. Israeli forces are using drones and loudspeakers to pressure the surrounded Hezbollah fighters to surrender, while the Air Force continues striking the Ali al-Taher ridge and other areas. At the same time, a seventh round of talks between Israel and Lebanon is set to begin, focused on the pilot plan and its possible expansion. The Gaza Peace Council says the IDF will withdraw only after the Gaza Strip is fully demilitarized and after all Hamas weapons are handed over — including heavy weapons and the tunnel network. Israel and the United States are trying to move toward phase two of the ceasefire plan while demanding a clear commitment from Hamas to disarm. China is watching the American hesitation closely, while Iran believes Trump is afraid of war and will not make a decisive move before November. Israel remains on high alert, with close coordination between the IDF and the U.S. military.
