Transcript [00:01] Was Israel preparing to launch another [00:03] major war against Iran on October 10th [00:07] only to be stopped by President Donald [00:09] Trump? Or was the threat of an attack [00:12] itself part of the pressure on Thran? [00:17] The Financial Times reports that Prime [00:19] Minister Binyam Net Netanyahu pushed for [00:22] a multi-day bombing campaign against [00:25] Iran's nuclear facilities, against the [00:28] revolutionary guards targets and also [00:30] even their power stations. So, according [00:32] to three people familiar with the plans, [00:35] Trump opposed renewed fighting before [00:38] the American midterm elections on [00:39] November 3rd. But Israeli military [00:42] sources have challenged that account, [00:45] telling the Jerusalem Post that no [00:47] attack had actually been scheduled for [00:50] October 10th. One account describes a [00:54] war that was postponed. The other [00:56] describes military readiness without an [00:59] order to strike. And that disagreement [01:03] raises an urgent question. Who will [01:05] decide when the next attack begins? US [01:09] Defense Secretary Pete Hacksafath made [01:11] an unannounced visit to Israel's UVA air [01:14] base in the negative in the south. [01:17] American carrier and marine forces are [01:20] being repositioned in this region and [01:22] Israeli fighter jets carried out a long [01:24] range exercise towards Iran's western [01:27] border according to American and Israeli [01:30] officials. But another war is already [01:33] claiming lives in Saudi Arabia. On [01:36] Wednesday, debris for an intercepted [01:39] drone struck the Shihab oil field, [01:42] killing two workers and injuring two [01:44] others. Washington has ordered [01:47] non-essential diplomatic personnel and [01:50] their families to leave Saudi Arabia. [01:53] Britain has committed typhoon fighters [01:55] jets to help defend Saudi airspace. And [01:59] the danger extends through the shipping [02:02] lanes as two commercial tankers were [02:05] struck by unidentified projectiles near [02:08] Oman and Iraq. The attackers they have [02:11] not yet been identified. And in Lebanon, [02:14] security forces intercepted 780 kg of [02:18] explosives and openly acknowledged that [02:21] the shipment belonged to them. I'm Pinto [02:25] and this is Boots on the Ground. We [02:27] bring you the whole truth about what is [02:29] happening in Israel and the truth about [02:31] what's happening in our neighborhood, [02:33] the Middle East. So to understand where [02:36] we stand, look at how the confrontation [02:38] has developed. [02:40] At the beginning of this period, [02:42] Washington was using a naval blockade [02:45] and economic sanctions to cut Iran's oil [02:47] revenue. United States Central Command [02:50] says that those measures have deprived [02:53] of billions of dollars. Iran responded [02:56] with missile threats and warnings [02:58] against the commercial shipping. [03:01] Reports then emerged about additional [03:04] American strike options, including the [03:08] possibility of use of the massive [03:12] conventional bomb known as the mother of [03:15] all bombs. But no new American attack [03:19] order has been publicly announced. [03:22] The latest dispute over Israel's [03:24] reported October 10th plan reveals [03:27] something very important. And the [03:29] question is no longer simply what Israel [03:32] and the United States are capable of [03:33] attacking. It is whether the two [03:36] governments agree about when military [03:39] action becomes necessary. [03:41] Iran is still refusing to transfer its [03:43] enriched uranium stockpile out of the [03:46] country. Pakistan and Qatar have been [03:49] pursuing proposals involving [03:50] international inspections and relief [03:53] tied to frozen Iranian funds. The has [03:56] also proposed a 7-day framework for the [03:58] reopening of the strait of no agreement [04:01] has been reached yet just yet. And [04:04] Israeli officials they warned that Iran [04:06] may be advancing work needed to turn [04:08] nuclear material into an actual [04:11] explosive weapon. So that assessment [04:15] has not just been identifially verified. [04:20] Saudi Arabia shows why this [04:22] confrontation cannot be measured by [04:24] negotiations alone. And earlier this [04:27] month, the Houthi attack struck Hiad's [04:29] King Khaled International Airport, [04:31] killing civilians and forcing major [04:34] disruptions to the air traffic. Limited [04:37] domestic flights have now resumed, but [04:39] international travel remains affected. [04:42] Inside Yemen, the ballistic missiles, [04:44] they struck a training camp for [04:47] Saudibbacked forces in Shabawa province, [04:51] killing dozens. Saudi Arabia has [04:54] answered with air strikes. Yet the [04:56] Houthi attacks continue reaching its [04:58] airports and its energy facilities. [05:01] Europe is facing its own security [05:03] concerns. In France, social protest [05:06] deteriorated into violent riots and [05:09] thousands of arrests. In Britain, two [05:11] men were rearrested during investigation [05:14] into suspected assistance of Iranian [05:16] intelligence. Near Rafold, those [05:20] suspicions have not been proven and the [05:23] two developments should not be confused [05:26] as one coordinated campaign. Now, I'm [05:29] actually in Florida, the United States [05:32] of America this week for a conference. [05:35] So, unfortunately, I couldn't make it [05:37] back to the studio to join our weekly [05:39] conversation. But Thomas Mora has [05:42] stepped in to join Mati Shosani. And I [05:45] think the two of you have some very [05:47] serious questions to tackle because [05:50] Martin, [05:52] what we have seen over the past two [05:55] weeks raises a disturbing possibility [05:58] that Israel may have been ready to [06:00] strike Iran and the United States may [06:03] have stopped this attack. But neither [06:05] Washington nor Jerusalem can necessarily [06:07] control what happens next. So let me [06:10] leave you both with this. Was the [06:14] reported October 10th attack plan a [06:16] genuine military operation, an attempt [06:19] to strengthen negotiations, [06:22] or a warning that the next round of war [06:25] is only being delayed? [06:29] The Middle East is at a boiling point. [06:33] Multiple different dramatic events are [06:34] happening at the same time. On the one [06:37] hand, we have Israel and the United [06:39] States that are pumping in more manpower [06:41] into this region. The US has an [06:44] additional carrier group. It has more [06:46] than 10,000 new soldiers in the region. [06:48] Israel has been training over the skies [06:51] of Iran, over the skies of Syria, uh all [06:54] the way to the doorstep of the Ayatollas [06:56] in Iran, getting ready for another [06:58] strike of war. And also, the Iranians [07:01] have not been quiet. They are making [07:03] their own threats. They're fighting [07:04] through the Houthis that are carrying [07:06] out ongoing attacks on the soil of Saudi [07:09] Arabia. And then when you zoom out from [07:11] that, multiple other nation states are [07:15] involved in the conflict taking place. [07:17] The UK has just announced that they're [07:18] sending fighter jets to protect Saudi [07:21] Arabia. We have several other countries [07:23] that are part of the Mecca alliance, [07:25] Pakistan, Turkey that are talking about [07:27] how they are going to intervene actively [07:29] with boots on the ground and what's [07:31] happening between the Houthis, the [07:33] Iranian proxy and Saudi Arabia. And all [07:37] of this is before we've even talked [07:38] about the fact that the Iranians are [07:40] pushing full speed ahead for nuclear [07:43] capabilities. All that is just in the [07:45] last week and we're here to unpack today [07:49] on the TBN Israel podcast. Today it's [07:51] myself and the one and only Tom. [07:54] >> We are without Ya Pinto uh and his [07:58] uh joyous presence. He's in the US at a [08:01] conference representing us doing a good [08:04] job I'm sure. And we're here to unpack [08:06] everything that's been happening with [08:07] this ongoing conflict and what feels [08:10] from our perspective from where we're [08:11] sitting in Israel as this convergence of [08:14] dramatic events all at the same time. [08:17] This is not hyperbole. This is not just [08:20] us adding drama. There legitimately are [08:23] things happening on the ground that when [08:25] you look at the aggregation of all of [08:27] them, there's a lot taking place, a lot [08:30] of drama, a lot of pressure, not [08:32] necessarily bad for Israel, but a lot [08:34] happening at the same time. And before [08:37] we dive into the first topic, which is [08:39] Iran, I need to remind people the big [08:42] picture. The big picture was Tom is that [08:44] the US and Israel said we'll talk to [08:46] Iran after the elections. Yeah. Each [08:49] each one his own election. The election [08:52] midterm in the US and the election in [08:54] Israel are going to happen next week. [08:57] >> Yeah. And and what we're seeing is [08:59] >> And what we're seeing is that no one's [09:02] actually waiting. Israel and the United [09:04] States have said to the Iranians, look, [09:06] you know, if you force it, if you don't [09:08] back down, if you don't give in to what [09:10] we're demanding, if you continue [09:12] harassing ships in the street of Hummus, [09:14] then it's going to happen sooner rather [09:16] than later. Trump has made some very [09:18] well typical but another series of [09:20] threats against them saying it's or [09:22] negotiations or the hard way you pick or [09:25] or a win or a win to the US or a win to [09:28] the US or win [09:29] >> or a win to the US [09:30] >> or we win and you suffer in the process. [09:32] >> Anyway, so [09:33] >> it's a win. [09:34] >> So let let's dive into the first topic [09:36] that we have. How much time do we have [09:37] for that? [09:38] >> I'm going to put 10 minutes starting [09:39] now. [09:40] >> Okay. So let first topic is Iran the [09:43] headlines. We've been reporting on this [09:45] extensively on boots on the ground. [09:46] >> In the last two weeks, we reporting [09:48] mostly about the possibility of [09:51] returning to war. It's really feeling [09:53] that the IRGC pushing towards that if [09:56] it's with threats or on the other way if [10:00] it's in the straight of when they keep [10:02] their attacks. We saw that the strait [10:05] himself is open. But right now, we're [10:08] starting to get a lot of report about [10:11] the mob bomb. Mother of all bombs. [10:14] >> Moab. Yeah. [10:15] >> Yeah. The Moab bomb. And with that, [10:18] Trump is talking about Karaga Island. [10:22] And do you think there is a connection [10:24] between attacking Karagand [10:27] >> today? Even talk about or write about [10:29] the biggest bomb that the US have today. [10:32] >> Yeah. [10:33] >> Let's let's separate what the US is and [10:35] what Iran says, okay? [10:36] >> Because I think it's interesting to to [10:37] analyze it from their perspective. [10:38] Here's the information that US Central [10:41] Command Sentcom is releasing and the [10:43] Trump White House is releasing. They're [10:45] reminding everyone that they've been [10:47] moving two types of bomb into the [10:49] region. Moab, the mother of all bombs, [10:52] which is the GBU43 [10:54] B or [10:54] >> A B [10:56] >> B, which is it's not a bunker busting [10:58] bomb. It's the biggest conventional type [11:00] of bomb that is used to [11:02] >> that is not nuclear. [11:03] >> That's not nuclear. Yeah. Which is what [11:04] conventional means. and and it's it's [11:07] what you use to level a city. That's [11:09] what it's used for. If if there's an [11:11] IRGC base where they hold, you know, [11:14] houses and barracks, etc. You drop this, [11:16] it explodes in the air above it, and the [11:19] shock wave is enough to literally level [11:21] a very substantial area. [11:23] >> Wow. [11:23] >> That's one. So, the US is leaked. We [11:26] have this in the area. [11:27] >> We have the Iranian side. They have the [11:28] father of all bombs. [11:30] >> Yeah. So, this this we'll get to them in [11:32] a second. So the US reminds everyone we [11:35] have a bunch of MOABs in route to the [11:37] region and possibly already in the [11:39] region. Then then they say [11:40] >> 24 25. [11:42] >> Yeah. Big numbers. [11:43] >> Yeah. [11:43] >> Then they say on top of that we also [11:45] have the MOP. MOP is massive ordinance [11:49] penetrator. Different ballistic uh [11:52] capabilities. What it's used for is to [11:54] penetrate deep into the ground. And this [11:57] isn't news to anyone. These aren't also [11:59] new weapons. The entire idea here, if [12:01] you're watching this at home, is to [12:03] remind the Iranians and the public what [12:05] exists on the ground. That's why they're [12:06] telling people about these uh these [12:08] these bombs, excuse me. [12:09] >> So, that's on one hand. On the other [12:11] hand, we seeing the US bringing more [12:15] military [12:17] >> personel personnel into the region. [12:19] >> Yeah. So, so the US, thank you for [12:21] saying that. The US is now at the point [12:23] where I think, well, we don't know [12:25] exactly what day. In the coming days, [12:28] there will be three carrier strike [12:29] groups in the region. Not one, not two, [12:32] three. And that third group [12:35] reportedly, again, it's it's hard to get [12:37] exact intel on this, reportedly has in [12:39] it both a aircraft carrier, which is a [12:42] carrier group, but also a substantial [12:44] amount of Marines. So Marines, we're [12:46] talking about people that can do what [12:49] what we call amphibious assaults. So [12:51] they don't need a arrowhead. They don't [12:53] need to have the control of the ports to [12:56] be able to make it onto the ground. What [12:58] they need to have is just the personnel [13:00] and they're able to storm a beachfront. [13:02] So, if you're talking about what you [13:04] mentioned, taking over Iranian oil [13:06] production facilities, Kog Island, some [13:09] of the other islands in that area, this [13:11] is what you would use. You don't do [13:12] airborne, you want heavy assault, so you [13:15] need vehicles, etc. You have a marine [13:17] expeditionary unit. The expeditionary [13:19] unit has a large craft that is able to [13:22] do a amphibious assault and on it [13:25] assault vehicles, aircraft, soldiers, [13:28] everything you need. [13:29] >> Robots. [13:30] >> Yeah. Every exactly everything you need [13:32] to take over an area possibly for an [13:35] extended period of time. That that's in [13:37] a nutshell what the US is doing. Also, [13:39] we need to remember the US is carrying [13:41] out defensive measures in the straight [13:43] of Hummus. Iran has been able to punch [13:46] through them repeatedly, but for [13:48] >> Oman, Trump said, "No, [13:49] >> excuse me." Yes, I'm I'm having trouble [13:52] keeping up with everything Trump uh the [13:55] names he changes, but but to our point, [13:57] what's happening over there is the US is [14:00] able to escort most days of the week a [14:01] substantial amount of oil. [14:03] >> They did a crazy project. [14:04] >> Yeah. In and out of the straight of [14:05] Humus out the [14:08] Romanian. [14:10] >> They trenched out the Iranian uh coast. [14:12] >> A huge project. They did it [14:14] >> in couple of months. Only the US can [14:17] bring such a big problem into [14:20] >> into work such so fast. And now they can [14:23] move huge tankers with a huge amount of [14:27] oil each time. [14:28] >> Yeah. [14:29] >> Without being exposed to Iranian fire [14:31] >> and without buying the tankers. [14:33] >> Exactly. The Saudis bought them. It's [14:35] anyway. So, so the US has been doing a [14:37] lot as far as defensive measures go and [14:40] still we'll get to this when we talk [14:42] about Saudi Arabia. Still the region is [14:44] in conflict, but when it comes to the [14:46] perspective of of Iran, the US has in [14:49] absolute terms the upper hand when it [14:51] comes to military power. Here's the [14:53] problem though. Iran is also playing a [14:55] game and the US says for instance, we [14:57] have the mother of all bombs. Well, the [14:59] Iranians say, well, you know what? We [15:01] have the father of all missiles. And the [15:03] Houthies in the background, they yell, [15:04] "We have the uncle of all rockets." But [15:07] but jokes aside, that really was a press [15:10] release that came out of the IRGC this [15:12] week. If the US has the mother of all [15:14] bombs, we have the father of all [15:16] missiles. That is an exact quote of what [15:19] they said. [15:20] >> They good with missiles. But we see [15:22] lately that again we see more and more [15:25] headlines about a nuclear program about [15:28] the again weaponizing [15:32] the nuclear capabilities and stuff like [15:35] that. Do we really didn't prevent the [15:39] nuclear [15:41] threat? Well, it depends who you ask and [15:43] when you ask the question. [15:45] And and this is sort of the problem and [15:47] people at home I think be bear with us [15:48] for just a minute because this takes [15:50] explanation. People say [15:53] last year, you know, in in the June of [15:57] 2025 and this year in February, Israel [15:59] and the United States struck a [16:01] substantial blow to the Iranian nuclear [16:03] program. [16:03] >> Amazing blow. [16:04] >> No question about it. Does that [16:06] eliminate the nuclear program? It does [16:08] not. That's really the big challenge. [16:11] The challenge is is is the nuclear [16:12] program is composed of both knowledge, [16:15] technical components and the ability to [16:18] obtain materials. So the Iranians have [16:20] enriched uranium to a certain degree. [16:23] They have the technical knowledge of how [16:25] to enrich uranium which is a problem. [16:27] They likely have the technical knowledge [16:30] of how to take enriched uranium and make [16:32] it into a blast cap. The component that [16:35] goes on the top of a delivery mechanism, [16:37] a ballistic missile, a rocket, whatever. [16:40] uh the warhead that goes boom when it [16:42] hits the ground. Then the last part is [16:44] the delivery mechanism which is the [16:45] ballistic missile. Iran knows how to do [16:49] reportedly all of those things and that [16:51] is a huge problem. So both statements [16:54] are true. Israel and the United States [16:56] dealt a substantial blow to the Iranian [16:59] nuclear program. Iran at the same time [17:01] is able to progress with its Iranian uh [17:04] nuclear program and they're openly [17:06] saying recently that they're planning to [17:08] do that. One of the interesting [17:10] developments that comes out is they [17:12] previously claimed and even we heard uh [17:15] poses in uh on Fox News what was it last [17:18] month when he was in the general [17:20] assembly of the UN [17:21] >> he said we couldn't possibly have which [17:23] is a blatant lie he says we couldn't [17:25] possibly have a nuclear program for [17:27] military purposes because it's forbidden [17:29] under Islam why does he say that he's [17:32] quoting the late Ayatollah and say who [17:35] said nuclear bombs are against is the [17:37] spirit of Islam because it caused death [17:40] at a scale that is unacceptable. [17:42] But how do you deal with the fact that [17:44] they were pursuing military nuclear [17:46] capabilities? And the answer to that is [17:48] simple. They lie. [17:51] It's it's a simple answer. They [17:54] continuously [17:55] >> said he going to cancel the [17:59] >> the ban [17:59] >> the ban. So yeah, so reportedly Musha [18:01] Baham, the Supreme Leader of Iran, we [18:04] have not seen or heard from or seen [18:06] images of since he was struck at in late [18:09] February of this year. Reportedly, he is [18:12] more extreme than his father [18:14] imam. [18:15] >> Yeah. And and they hidden imam. Exactly. [18:18] >> And for the last one and a half minutes, [18:20] c can you get into what happening with [18:23] the US choking financially the IRGC? [18:27] Yeah, [18:28] >> I think that's really the interesting [18:29] thing. Scott Bass, Scott Bass, US [18:32] Secretary of Treasury, he he's quoted [18:34] this week saying that the US has caused [18:36] financial damage since the end of July [18:39] that is beyond $25 billion of financial [18:42] damage directly just from the prevention [18:44] of oil exports. Add to that hundreds of [18:47] millions of dollars of frozen assets of [18:49] cryptocurrencies and companies. Add to [18:51] that, we don't know, let's say pushing a [18:54] billion dollars of frozen shell [18:56] companies within the UAE and and several [18:59] other companies. Uh the Iranians have [19:01] been dealt a substantial financial blow. [19:03] They can't sell. They can barely buy and [19:07] their clientele, namely the Chinese, uh [19:10] are no longer interested in buying from [19:11] them because of the instability that [19:13] they've presented. And that is a huge [19:15] problem. If ever there was something [19:17] that was pressuring the Iranians and [19:19] going to bring down their regime, it's a [19:21] financial pressure. [19:22] >> I saw a video of a military guy in the [19:24] IRGC standing in front of a camera and [19:27] saying that it's humiliating that this [19:31] is the food that he can buy after 30 [19:33] years of service in the [19:35] >> Oh, I saw that. It was it was so sad and [19:37] really my heart goes out to the people [19:38] of Iran. This is a man I think he he was [19:40] serving for over a generation in the the [19:43] Iranian uh was he based or IRGC [19:47] something [19:47] >> I I think it was or Basie or IRGC and he [19:50] puts on camera he says this is the meal [19:52] that I am able to afford and it was [19:54] literally an almost empty plate and he [19:56] and he says it's because of the [19:57] government he didn't blame Israel he [19:59] didn't blame the Americans he blames his [20:01] government and and rightly so. So to to [20:03] wrap this up for everyone who's watching [20:05] this and wants to understand Iran, [20:07] here's the true story. Iran hasn't given [20:09] up and diplomacy is not yet working and [20:12] the US and Iran are working in parallel [20:15] routes that are leading together with [20:17] Israel leading to a moment of reckoning, [20:20] a moment of possible explosion on a [20:23] military level and a moment in which we [20:26] once again might be going back to a more [20:28] intense version of fighting because Iran [20:31] is pushing towards that and because [20:33] Israel and the United States realize [20:35] that we might want to be the first ones [20:37] to deal a blow to Iran. [20:38] before, during, or after the elections, [20:41] we don't know. So that's take us to the [20:43] second part and we're going to give that [20:45] 10 minutes more because the IRGC or the [20:49] Iranian regime are I like to call them [20:52] the Islamic Republic the the [20:55] Islamic Republic of Iran because yeah [20:58] the Islamic is important part in the [21:00] name but they activating right now they [21:04] proxy the Houthis against Saudi and [21:08] hitting another part of the Middle East. [21:11] Uh so that's going to be our what [21:13] happening between the Houthis and do [21:16] they going to take Riyad soon cuz they [21:19] they're not stopping to bomb that and [21:24] where where all this story is going [21:27] right now. So Saudi Arabia is really is [21:30] a really problematic story. It [21:32] highlights the weakness of the kingdoms [21:36] of the Gulf both politically and from a [21:39] military perspective. Uh it highlights [21:42] the disparity in the size of their [21:44] population and armed forces compared to [21:46] the Iranians and the proxies of the [21:48] Iranians. Small countries with small [21:50] population versus large countries with [21:52] enormous populations, tens of millions. [21:54] >> But they have a huge military budget. [21:57] They have a lot of money. But money [22:00] doesn't translate [22:00] >> futuristic [22:02] >> money doesn't translate into ability to [22:04] fight [22:05] >> apparently. [22:06] >> No. And and look that that that can be [22:08] said about Israel on October the 7th. We [22:10] had a large military budget didn't help [22:12] us on October the 7th. [22:13] >> That's true. [22:14] >> It's what you're willing to do and where [22:15] you're position positioning your forces [22:18] and what information and training they [22:19] have that makes the true difference. So [22:21] Saudi Arabia has has several big [22:23] problems and I'll start with a political [22:25] problem because I think people miss how [22:27] important this is. Saudi Arabia doesn't [22:30] say I'm just another country. Saudi [22:32] Arabia MBS he presents himself as the [22:35] champion of the future of the Sunni [22:38] Muslim world. That's what he says. He [22:40] says I am the face of the future of the [22:43] Sunni world. Where do we see that? In [22:45] their plan Saudi Arabia 2030. [22:48] >> Yeah. They he presents a plan that he [22:50] presented several years ago that says [22:52] we're going to be the pioneers of tech. [22:54] We're going to be the pioneers of [22:55] construction. There's a city neon. [22:57] There's the line project. There's this [23:00] tech hub that we're trying to start up. [23:02] There's all these businesses initiatives [23:03] that we're we're trying to create. Saudi [23:05] Arabia doesn't want to just be an oil [23:07] selling country. They want to be a [23:10] regional superpower. And facing them are [23:12] the Iranians and their proxies. Saudi [23:15] Arabia has an army, but their army isn't [23:17] able to stop the Houthis from attacking [23:19] them. Saudi Arabia has the best of [23:21] Americanmade weapon defense, air defense [23:24] systems, Patriot, and several other [23:26] THAAD systems. They're not able to stop [23:28] the drones being launched by the [23:30] Houthis. And they're also sponsoring on [23:33] the ground inside Saudi Arabia forces [23:35] that are supposed to be opposing the [23:37] Houthis. And they're doing so with mixed [23:39] results. Why is this problematic? Here's [23:42] the problem. Saudi Arabia can ask other [23:45] countries to help them but that doesn't [23:47] solve their issue because if I'm saying [23:50] that I am the superpower that I am the [23:53] you know dominant Sunni presence of this [23:56] region and you are the one who's [23:59] attacking me and I need to ask someone [24:01] else to help me someone else to help me [24:03] what kind of superpower am I not just [24:06] one yeah so they have their alliance [24:08] with Token Pakistan they have alliance [24:11] with Egypt Trump lately even said that [24:14] they getting a lot of help from us over [24:18] here and even BB [24:20] approved that. So [24:24] on the ground nobody is really helping [24:27] Saudi and it's look like the the Yemeni [24:32] government or the proper Yemeni what [24:34] they call are losing to the Houthis and [24:37] losing parts of Yemen along the way. [24:40] >> Yeah. Well, the Houthies have help and [24:42] we we need to remind people of that. The [24:44] Houthi are a rebel group that has taken [24:45] over the mostly the northern part of uh [24:47] Yemen and in recent weeks has been [24:49] trying to take over the coastline on the [24:51] western side. [24:52] >> The Baband towards the Babin Mandab [24:55] straight. Thank you. And where where [24:56] this gets tricky [24:58] is it's presented as a war between some [25:01] legitimate power in Yemen and the [25:03] Saudis. But really what this is is a a [25:06] regional struggle. The Houthis are [25:08] supplied are led and possibly have on [25:11] the ground help from the Iranians. [25:12] That's that's what we're hearing. And [25:14] the Saudis are supporting factions [25:17] within Yemen, but not completely. I [25:19] mean, they're also like is a an [25:21] independent faction within Yemen that's [25:23] trying to fight against the Houthis. And [25:25] the Iranians are trying to use the [25:26] Houthis to weaken the Saudi Arabians. [25:28] And Saudi looks at this and says, the [25:31] United States, do you want to help us? [25:32] And the US says, no, we don't want to be [25:34] dragged into this conflict. fight your [25:36] own war. We'll give you intel. We'll [25:38] give you targeting information. We're [25:39] not fighting on the ground for you or in [25:41] the air. Saudi Arabia has a substantial [25:44] air force aided by what we know by intel [25:47] and targeting from Israel and the United [25:49] States and by air refueling by the [25:51] British in recent weeks. [25:53] >> But that's not enough. Still, every day, [25:56] the Houthis are able to penetrate their [25:58] air defenses and strike deep within [26:01] Saudi Arabia multiple times on the [26:03] airport. Big problem. How? [26:05] >> Yeah. How do they do it? They use swarms [26:08] of of drones and swarms of missiles. [26:10] >> So, apparently the Patriot system is not [26:12] that effective. [26:14] >> The Patriot system was never intended to [26:15] defeat swarms. I think that's what [26:18] people forget is in [26:19] >> because I I know that they're using the [26:21] Patriot system with the most updated [26:24] things and [26:28] I don't know the the way that they have [26:31] radars and stuff but they when you saw [26:34] the footage of the people in the airport [26:36] and that's was terrifying. They standing [26:39] on the line and suddenly this bright [26:41] light [26:42] >> attacking them. There wasn't even a [26:45] twominut alert that there wasn't even a [26:49] second alert to the people to run away [26:51] to shelter or to something like that [26:53] like we had in Israel when [26:55] >> we've been under missile attacks. [26:58] >> Well, there's a technical limitation to [27:00] these systems. That's that's always the [27:01] challenge. The challenge is is if if [27:04] your system is set up to track and [27:05] intercept 20 targets at one time. I'm [27:08] just throwing a number. I'm not saying [27:09] this is the number. Well, what if they [27:12] launch 40? What if they launch 50? What [27:14] if they what if it's hundreds? What if [27:17] they are able to overwhelm your sensors? [27:19] And that's really what's happening here. [27:20] We're living in an age where we're [27:22] playing catch-up between the traditional [27:24] weapon systems and their counter [27:27] measures and then the modern weapon [27:29] systems and their counter measures. And [27:31] the two don't necessarily overlap. You [27:34] could be able to stop all the ballistic [27:35] missiles, but if I'm able to launch from [27:38] some kind somewhere on the border or the [27:39] desert dozens or hundreds of drones that [27:44] confuse and overwhelm the radar systems [27:46] and the electrooptical systems within [27:49] Saudi I can get through and really it [27:52] doesn't take much to overwhelm these [27:55] systems and especially if you have the [27:56] help of the Iranians who have been [27:58] learning for years the air defenses of [28:00] Saudi and other countries. The problem [28:02] is one way or another something is going [28:05] to punch through the air defenses. The [28:07] images coming out out of Saudi Arabia [28:09] are unbelievably alarming. You mentioned [28:12] one of them. There's footage of hundreds [28:14] of people standing inside a terminal and [28:16] a missile I think it's a what is it? A [28:18] cruise missile. [28:18] >> It's a cruise missile. [28:19] >> It's a cruise missile just strikes the [28:21] terminal with no warning. It kills over [28:23] a dozen people on the spot. It injures [28:25] 300 people. You see the image. It's it's [28:28] a miracle that it wasn't 100 people [28:30] killed. I mean, it's a direct strike [28:32] onto the terminal. That happens multiple [28:34] times in the single week. Then they [28:36] strike a mosque. Then they strike other [28:38] facilities. All the while they continue [28:40] harming uh targets that are related to [28:42] their oil production. So it's it's an [28:45] effective campaign and it's [28:47] >> they're losing a lot of money. [28:48] >> Yeah. They're losing a lot of money. [28:49] They're losing a lot of people. Then on [28:51] top of that, there's a recent strike [28:52] that happened 5 days ago, I believe, [28:54] >> and they cancelled the [28:56] >> in the training facility. [28:58] >> We're in Yemen. factions that are [29:00] reportedly aligned with Saudi Arabia [29:03] have a training camp where they're [29:04] training their recruits and what was it [29:06] 13 70 injured [29:08] >> 72 73 people got killed. [29:11] >> Yeah. From the first strike and then [29:13] several hundred injured. [29:14] >> Substantial. [29:15] >> That's a huge [29:16] >> It's a huge loss. [29:17] >> Yeah. [29:17] >> Huge loss. [29:18] >> And with that we seeing now that they [29:20] getting help from the UK but it's not [29:24] that the UK going to help them attack in [29:26] Yemen. the Houthis they are going to [29:29] help them prevent [29:33] attacks or [29:34] >> attacks on Saudi soil. [29:35] >> Exactly. [29:36] >> Yeah. And and what what this shows you [29:37] there's there's this very complex map of [29:39] interest. Saudi Arabia has a lot of [29:41] friends, but these friends don't [29:43] necessarily want to fight directly [29:44] against the enemies of Saudi Arabia. [29:46] They're happy to sell them weapon [29:48] systems, happy to provide advisor, but [29:51] going to war in the sky or on the ground [29:53] or at sea on behalf of Saudi Arabia, [29:56] that's a different question. And it puts [29:58] to question the alliance that they have [30:00] with Pakistan and with Turkey. Pakistan [30:03] reportedly has soldiers on the ground in [30:05] Saudi Arabia. What are they doing? What [30:08] effect do they have? We don't know. [30:10] >> We don't know. [30:11] >> We don't know. It seems like not much. [30:13] It seems it's more symbolic sort of [30:15] token of of alliance than than anything [30:17] else. And and it shows the problem here, [30:19] which is your question. How does an army [30:21] that that is substantial like the Saudi [30:23] army? How does it fight against the [30:25] Houthis that are using accessible [30:28] technology can overwhelm their defensive [30:31] systems? And essentially the only way to [30:33] stop them is by taking over the ground [30:36] in Yemen. How does Saudi Arabia do that [30:39] without invading Yemen? It's look there [30:41] is two countries that playing around [30:44] that it's Egypt and Syria. They both [30:47] agreed to send soldier. They parliament [30:50] didn't. H Syria didn't approve that that [30:53] they said but [30:56] Saudi want 10,000 troops immediately [31:00] from one of those countries. So that's [31:03] what the rumors behind the scenes say. [31:06] And the last rumor was that Syria was [31:07] looking into [31:08] >> and yesterday it was [31:10] >> Egypt. [31:11] >> Yeah. Who who who knows at this point? [31:13] And also I think I feel like it's [31:16] important to highlight for people how [31:17] politicized this entire conversation is. [31:20] It is [31:20] >> that there's an attempt on behalf of [31:21] these governments to showcase some type [31:24] of alliance and solidarity. Sunni [31:27] solidarity, Arab solidarity, anti-Iran [31:29] solidarity, pro- US solidarity. Uh [31:32] there's a lot of politics that plays [31:34] into this and and we need to take that [31:36] into account when we talk about this [31:37] this conversation. Final thoughts on [31:39] Saudi Arabia. Uh the thoughts are that [31:42] Saudi Arabia needs to be able to fight [31:44] its own war. It needs to be able to win [31:47] its own war. And without that, they have [31:49] a problem. That's the truth. Okay, let's [31:52] talk about our shout out for today. [31:55] Iranah [31:57] and all those people, I'll say that to [31:58] you guys at home. They've spent a lot of [32:01] money and many years trying to do one [32:04] thing, which is destroy Israel. They've [32:07] burnt much of the open spaces in [32:09] northern uh in the northern Galilee and [32:11] in the Golan. They've launched hundreds, [32:13] if not thousands of rockets and missiles [32:15] at northern Israel and caused a lot of [32:17] damage. And we want together to show [32:19] them that we have a stronger opposing [32:22] force. Where they bring death, we bring [32:24] life. Where they bring destruction, we [32:26] bring reconstruction. And we're doing [32:29] that together with you. We have an [32:31] ongoing project called the Rebuild [32:32] Israel project. We are planting apple [32:36] trees, an orchard of apple trees in [32:38] northern Israel. Last winter, Ya Tom and [32:42] several members of our team. Uh it was [32:44] one of the first rains, substantial [32:45] rains of the winter. We were on a [32:47] mountaintop near Miron Mountain in [32:50] northern Israel. Sure. And we saw the [32:52] trees that were just planted with your [32:54] help. And it was it was emotional. Uh it [32:57] was beautiful to see the construction. [32:59] We're doing that again, this time with [33:00] fruit trees. And and this is not just [33:02] about the apple Yeah. apple trees. Not [33:05] just about the optics of rebuilding. It [33:07] provides jobs. It helps rebuild. Uh it [33:10] it changes the appearance of the area [33:12] and it brings hope back to communities [33:15] that have been under fire for a very [33:16] long time. We've been in this community [33:18] couple of times. We saw the them getting [33:21] missiles. We saw houses burn along the [33:24] the way. And right now in our last [33:26] visit, most of the stuff got rebuilt and [33:30] we saw the farmers getting back to the [33:32] land. So it was really exciting. It's [33:35] really on the border. By the way, we [33:37] need your help to do this, [33:38] >> to show love, to show help, to show that [33:42] there are people around the world who [33:43] don't just know how to demonstrate [33:44] against Israel, but love Israel, love [33:47] what God is doing in this country, and [33:49] stand against the evil that exists here. [33:51] And we want you to partner with us on [33:53] doing that. Here's a link. It's [33:55] tbn.org/rebuildisrael. [33:58] Again, tbn.org/rebuild [34:03] Israel. Or if you're in North America, [34:05] call 800 8047895. [34:09] Again, in North America, 800847895 [34:15] and say that Mati Y or Toml sent you. [34:19] Okay, finally. [34:22] >> Let's go. Before we'll go to Europe that [34:24] it's really funny that we lately talk [34:26] about Europe as part of our routine of [34:29] report. Let's go to Lebanon cuz it's [34:32] look like there is a quiet [34:35] or for us it's active but for the world [34:37] is a quiet war withaha with the terror [34:41] organization. [34:43] I hate when people say just they [34:44] namebalah kamas. It's really important [34:48] to to notice that they are terrorist and [34:51] they they have a belief of [34:56] killing people and destroyed [34:59] society. [35:00] >> Yeah. So I love that that point that you [35:02] make tobalah is not a freedom fighter [35:05] organization. [35:06] >> Yeah. [35:06] >> They are not legitimate in Lebanon. [35:09] These people are not trying to rebuild [35:11] Lebanon. Here's a recap of what happened [35:13] in the last week in the news. Bala in [35:15] Lebanon is caught smuggling several [35:17] thousand pounds of C4 and plastic [35:20] explosive. They're caught inside of [35:22] Lebanon uh fighting against and trying [35:26] to hide munitions from the Lebanese [35:28] army. Then when they're caught, they say [35:30] to the Lebanese army, "Give us back our [35:33] explosive and weapons. We're only going [35:34] to use them against Israel." While they [35:36] know full well that that's a complete [35:38] lie and they've used it against them [35:40] politically. [35:41] >> Somebody left a note for the Lebanese [35:43] army. a small yellow note. It's going to [35:47] be here in this time and this hour. [35:49] >> Yeah, that's that was probably someone [35:50] in Israeli intelligence and and rightly [35:52] so. So, this is happening. This is [35:54] happening inside of Lebanon. [35:56] >> They did it already back back in what [35:59] year they blow the the the [36:04] blow the Lebanon [36:05] >> six or seven years ago. No, it wasn't [36:06] intentional. The port the port blew up. [36:09] No, when they killed some of the the [36:12] Lebanon politicians government. [36:14] >> Yeah, they No, they assassinated members [36:16] of the political party. They allegedly [36:18] assassinated a prime minister in uh uh [36:21] in Lebanon. [36:23] But but again, they have no problem with [36:24] violence within the country. Here's [36:26] what's happening in Lebanon. There's a [36:28] government. The government is led by [36:30] Joseph Oon. Joseph is trying to rebuild [36:32] a country that has been war torn for [36:34] decades. They're trying to strengthen an [36:36] army that is opposing a terrorist [36:38] organization that is deeply embedded in [36:40] society andah propped up by Iran is [36:44] doing almost everything they can. [36:46] >> It's like a countryside country. [36:48] >> It's a terrorist organization within a [36:50] country. Think cartels in Central [36:52] America that are willing to use [36:54] terrorism against their own government [36:56] when someone tries to move their cheese. [36:58] That's what's happening over here. Uh [37:00] that is the the attempt is fighting [37:02] against the Lebanese people. [37:04] is fighting against the IDF and the IDF [37:07] is in a very bizarre position where [37:09] they're saying to the Lebanese army, [37:11] "Guys, we want to withdraw, but every [37:14] time we withdraw, comes and retakes that [37:17] area, that area, come and show us that [37:20] you're able to hold on to this terrain [37:22] in these areas without retaking it." [37:25] They've had a very hard time in doing [37:27] that, an incredibly hard time. So far, [37:30] it's been unsuccessful. It puts us in a [37:32] in a position where once again the [37:34] solution is politics. The solution is [37:38] nation building. And out of all the [37:40] countries that are in conflict in the [37:42] Middle East, this is the one that [37:43] actually has a chance of doing that. [37:45] Interestingly enough, they have the [37:47] political ability. They have [37:49] >> they have enough minorities than [37:50] >> Exactly. They have enough of a political [37:52] divide in the country that they're able [37:54] to stand up to the specific [37:56] >> ethnic religious entity that is [37:59] >> and they have the desire to do so. [38:01] >> It was a beautiful country back in the [38:03] day. Lebanon, that's what people said. [38:06] >> It was before our time. But yeah, [38:07] Lebanon used to be called the French [38:08] Riviera of the the Middle East. Uh there [38:11] there are images of of Europeans and [38:13] people from other Arab countries coming [38:14] on vacations on the coastline of [38:16] Lebanon. Beautiful coastline by the way, [38:19] similar to northern Israel. Beautiful [38:21] coast, beautiful sea, crystal, you know, [38:23] clear waters. That's what Lebanon used [38:25] to be. And it's been war torn and um [38:28] infested, I have no better way to use [38:30] word to say, by radical Islamic and [38:33] revolutionary elements. And now they are [38:36] trying to rebuild. [38:37] >> And that's exactly take us to the the [38:39] next place that the Islamic revolution [38:42] happening. And this is in France. if [38:44] they had uh the French Revolution. Now [38:47] it's time for the Islamic Revolution in [38:50] in [38:52] Paris cuz I never saw [38:57] stuff that for me it's familiar from the [38:59] Middle East. Suddenly I see them in the [39:02] streets of Europe from videos that we [39:06] saw in this week. Yeah, [39:08] >> we saw the riots rising [39:11] in in Paris [39:13] and I for me I I was shocked. I I didn't [39:18] thought I can see this amount of [39:22] violence and but this time you saw it [39:25] >> vandalism. [39:26] >> I think that was the thing. [39:27] >> Yeah, it's countercultural [39:30] anti-country violence. So it's different [39:33] than than what you see when it's someone [39:34] riding or demonstrating for one thing [39:36] specifically. [39:37] This was a bunch of people. You don't [39:40] see any French flags or Belgium flags or [39:43] Italian flags. It's or Palestinian flags [39:47] or masks or both of them. And chance [39:50] that have nothing to do with the [39:51] political agenda. They're all about [39:53] destroying the country. They're burning. [39:55] They're looting. There's a heavy focus, [39:57] by the way, on Jewish targets, even [39:59] though the news doesn't like to talk [40:00] about this. [40:01] >> N talking about 70% of the vandalism [40:04] happened on Jewish stores. [40:06] >> Yeah. But what it really is is the [40:08] joining of radical leftists and [40:10] anti-nation [40:12] and radical Islamic working together to [40:15] destroy the countries that they're [40:16] living in. And we we see a headline that [40:18] I never thought we would see. France has [40:20] now what do they say? In certain [40:23] neighborhoods, predominantly immigrant [40:26] and Muslim neighborhoods [40:27] >> more than 70%. [40:28] >> Yeah. Now we have what? A curfew. If you [40:30] leave it late at night, you'll be [40:32] arrested. Why is that? Why is no one [40:34] shouting apartheid? Why is no one [40:36] shouting? You know, this is [40:38] anti-Islamic. You're such a terrible [40:40] state. Why? Because they realize that [40:42] they were wrong. That they looked at [40:44] these members of their society and said, [40:46] "If we just give them freedom and we let [40:48] them do whatever they want and we're [40:50] accommodating and we try to water down [40:52] our message and our identity, one way or [40:54] another, they'll assimilate." And it's [40:56] not happening. It's funny that's when [40:58] you're going to history and you learn [40:59] about how the Iran became a Islamic [41:03] Republic and how the revolutionary guard [41:06] grew up in the country. It's more or [41:09] less the same connection that we see in [41:12] Europe. It's the far-left especially in [41:15] France that that's who brought the [41:17] Ayatollah back to Iran. It was the [41:20] France people [41:22] the left left side. [41:24] >> Yeah. in the name of anti-America, anti- [41:27] more socialism, more communism sought [41:32] and somehow it's aligning with free [41:35] Palestine movement each time when you're [41:37] getting to those fe you see I've thought [41:40] about this a lot. I don't think it's [41:42] about Palestine. [41:43] >> No, I'll tell you I'll tell you what it [41:45] is. The free Palestine movement has [41:48] become a a war cry for everything that [41:52] is anti-West. [41:54] None of these people actually care about [41:55] Palestine. If they did, they would do [41:57] something about it. They would donate. [41:59] They would invest. They would try to [42:01] push politically. Nothing. I mean, it's [42:03] been a dead topic for quite some time. [42:05] the whole the whole Palestine issue. [42:07] It's all about a rally cry of anti- [42:11] West, anti-Israel, anti always now with [42:14] Green parties. We see the Green parties [42:17] over the Europe connecting to the [42:19] Islamic [42:21] voters and together somehow they they [42:25] have a political point because the green [42:29] let's call it votes getting down. people [42:33] are getting that [42:35] we can use more electricity. It's it's [42:37] becoming something that you don't need [42:39] to talk too much about the environment [42:40] right now or it's not the most hot topic [42:43] as it was before 10 years ago. So [42:46] suddenly Palestine and and immigrants [42:50] and poor people becoming the the topic [42:53] that they can rely on. I think [42:56] >> I I I need to hold myself not to go into [42:58] a rant about what's really behind the [43:00] green movements, but essentially a lot [43:02] of the environmental policies, [43:06] what they really mean in practice is one [43:08] thing. We it's it's no pollution, [43:12] in my country, more pollution in your [43:15] country. Uh what what they actually do [43:16] is they just export their pollution and [43:19] their environmental impact into their [43:20] neighboring countries. They move they [43:22] shut down their power plants. They just [43:24] move them across the border to Poland to [43:26] a bunch of other countries. They move [43:28] their uh let's call it oil refineries [43:31] etc and to other countries. All that [43:32] makes them is dependent on on other [43:34] nations for basic goods in their own [43:37] country. Cuz the the guy that got [43:39] arrested for [43:41] starting the fire in the what what's it [43:44] called in France the the old mansion [43:47] that they got [43:48] >> Yeah. The city hall. [43:49] >> The city hall. [43:50] >> Exactly. He was from the Green Party [43:53] activist [43:54] chanting for he was with Zakafia and [43:56] everything and he lighted the the place. [44:00] >> I can't imagine that burning a building [44:01] is good for the environment. Tom, [44:03] >> who knows? [44:03] >> I I can't imagine. No, [44:05] >> it's green smoke [44:06] >> thing. I can't imagine that torching [44:07] cars in the streets is good for the [44:08] environment. What these people really [44:10] are and we need to be clear about this. [44:12] Maybe there's a kernel of truth in the [44:15] original source of these demonstrations. [44:18] I don't know. I believe that the the the [44:20] system we see France [44:21] >> who knows you know [44:22] >> in a in a really bad [44:25] economic situation. We see the French [44:28] government spends 25 to 30% more per [44:32] child on education than the Israeli [44:34] government does. [44:35] >> That's true. [44:35] >> Okay. It's easy to explain by the way [44:37] why because we have many more kids in [44:39] Israel than we do than the French people [44:40] do. But that's not the point. None of us [44:42] in Israel, even though our kids are in [44:44] the education system, are burning city [44:46] halls or the education off or the the [44:48] the Ministry of Education offices. This [44:50] isn't about the legitimate reasons that [44:52] they're claiming. This is about being [44:54] anti-state, [44:56] anti-West. And these demonstrations [44:58] have, I think, clarified to a lot of [45:01] people in the West that there's [45:02] something deeper happening here. And [45:04] when you look at the numbers, it makes [45:05] sense. these countries, France for [45:07] instance, you look at their numbers, [45:08] they have about fif a a fifth of their [45:11] young population that there's an acronym [45:14] for this. They are not employed, they're [45:16] not in training, and they're not seeking [45:18] work. So, what does a 30-year-old or [45:21] 25-year-old man who is not employed, not [45:24] in training, and not seeking work, what [45:26] does he do? [45:28] >> That's a good question. [45:29] >> We we are we're born with energy. We're [45:31] born with focus. We're born with [45:32] strength. If you have nothing to expend [45:35] that onto and no economic horizon, you [45:38] become an easily easy target for [45:40] radicalizing elements. And that's [45:42] exactly what happened there. These are [45:43] people many of them second third [45:45] generation uh to immigrants but not only [45:47] also locals also in if such a thing as [45:50] indigenous exists but let's call it also [45:52] like longer generation uh members of [45:54] those countries that have been [45:56] radicalized by an agenda often times not [45:58] realizing who stands behind it and going [46:02] for a desire to bring down the system [46:05] around them not understanding that [46:07] there's nothing to replace that system. [46:08] It's funny because in the investigation [46:12] was for the p the pilot that tried to h [46:16] blew the fly Dubai to kidnap the Fly [46:18] Dubai uh airplane. He was radicalized [46:24] radicalized got more into Islam in [46:27] Australia. [46:29] He's from Oman. when he got to [46:31] Australia, he met the radical Islam and [46:34] become more [46:36] >> and that's weird. But even Muslim people [46:38] said when they get to Europe, they they [46:41] meeting a faith or more Islamic [46:45] education that it's more [46:47] >> let's call that [46:50] fanatic from what they know in what's [46:54] allowed in Muslim countries. Exactly. So [46:55] here here's you raised a very [46:57] interesting point. Thank you for saying [46:58] that. In most Arab countries, if the [47:01] Muslim Brotherhood tries to indoctrinate [47:04] or radicalize school children, they get [47:07] arrested. They get arrested. They get [47:09] thrown in prison and they lose the key. [47:11] That's what happens. If they try to run [47:12] for politics, the the political party, [47:14] if such a thing exists in in that [47:16] system, is outlawed and they're put in [47:18] prison. If a teacher tries to [47:20] indoctrinate the kids towards uh this [47:22] just happened in uh no [47:26] just this week [47:28] >> they hang them or something [47:29] >> in in a [47:30] >> they don't allow them to come with the [47:32] the headscarfs the the bulkas in this [47:35] week just so people understand that what [47:37] happens in Muslim countries there were [47:39] elements that the government claims are [47:41] related to Iran I I don't know if that's [47:43] true or not that we're trying to push [47:45] for more Islamic Sharia law behavior in [47:48] the country. The state outlawed it [47:51] immediately and arrested a bunch of [47:53] teachers saying we will not allow this [47:55] radicalizing element within our society. [47:57] What happens in the west? People don't [48:00] understand the consequences of these uh [48:02] let's call them schools of thought and [48:04] they say look maybe this is part of [48:05] their culture. Let's let them go with [48:07] it. And they allow in western countries [48:10] radical agendas that are outlawed in [48:12] other countries uh to proliferate into [48:15] society. A decade later, 20 years later, [48:18] you now have an entire population that [48:20] is against your own country that doesn't [48:22] believe in the in the moral foundation [48:24] of your country. And and again, look [48:26] look at our country. You don't see those [48:28] kind of demonstrations here. We have a [48:30] lot of social tensions in Israel. [48:32] >> You don't see people burning down their [48:34] own. Yeah. Again, but we have 23% of our [48:37] population is is Muslim Arab in Israel. [48:40] True. Now, I'm not talking Judea and [48:42] Samaria. I'm talking within Israel [48:43] proper. They don't burn their cities. [48:45] >> Yeah. [48:45] >> They don't they don't try to kill the [48:47] police. Uh they they don't torch the [48:49] firefighters. They even in in the [48:52] societies in Israel that have tensions, [48:55] you don't see that level of animosity [48:56] between elements in society. These [48:58] countries have forgot what a country [49:00] stands for. They've lost the values of [49:02] what pulls together people and now [49:04] they're paying the price for it. And I'm [49:06] not saying this because I'm I'm happy [49:09] and gloating at their suffering. I'm [49:11] saying this as a wakeup call to people [49:12] that we need to stand up for what's [49:14] important in our countries. Stand up for [49:16] the values that represent our countries. [49:19] And what that often requires is saying [49:21] we believe X and we reject why. That's [49:25] the problem. [49:26] >> We call that Judean Christian values. We [49:28] we know that they coming from the Bible [49:30] and they building societies in the right [49:33] way. At least that's what I learned. [49:36] >> Uh you want to wrap up? [49:38] >> Yeah. So, let's let's wrap here. Here's [49:41] the story, guys. We are at a very very [49:44] complicated position right now in the [49:45] Middle East. Israel and the United [49:47] States are pushing towards well, they're [49:49] at least training towards an additional [49:51] round of uh increased violence with [49:54] Iran. The Iranians are trying to stop [49:56] ships traveling in the street of Humus [49:58] and violating every agreement, every [50:01] status quo, every attempt to normalize [50:04] or to to calm down the region. Not only [50:07] that, the fighting has intensified [50:08] between the Saudis, the Houthis, and now [50:12] that ripple effect is affecting other [50:13] countries, pulling Pakistan, pulling [50:16] Turkey, pulling even the UK into what is [50:18] now becoming a larger regional conflict. [50:22] What does this mean? The problem is we [50:24] don't know. The question that we started [50:26] with this episode and we end with is who [50:28] fires the first shot? Is it Iran? Is it [50:31] Israel? Is it the United States? Is it [50:34] Saudi Arabia? who drags this region once [50:36] more into a far more extreme round of [50:40] violence. And the answer is one or the [50:43] other, but also possibly no one. It's [50:46] possible that we we remain in this level [50:48] of alleviated tension all the way [50:50] through the midterm elections in the US [50:53] and only reconvene to have this [50:55] conversation once more sometime in [50:57] December. We don't know. [50:59] >> We don't know. What I do know is to is [51:01] that we're here at TBN Israel every day [51:03] of the week to report on this topic. And [51:05] if you are one, you've lasted this long [51:07] in the show. Good for you. Thank you. [51:09] Five points to everyone who stayed. [51:20] >> Look for Tom if you can find him on [51:21] social media. Uh and because we share [51:24] all the information on what's actually [51:26] happening in this region on a daily [51:28] basis. I think that's it for now. [51:30] >> That's it for now. [51:31] >> Be blessed, guys. We'll see you all on [51:33] the next TBN Israel podcast.
