Proud to stand united against hate in Palm Beach County! The Simon Wiesenthal Center joined approximately 250 law enforcement professionals, first responders, and civic leaders for the United Against Hate Summit, an important opportunity to strengthen collaboration and share the knowledge and tools needed to recognize, investigate, and respond to hate crimes. Co-led by the PBSO - Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and the Hate Crimes Task Force of Palm Beach County, the summit featured experts from the FBI's Miami Division, the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office, PBSO, and our Museum of Tolerance. Through specialized training and discussions, participants explored hate crime trends, investigative strategies, victim-centered responses, and the importance of building public trust. Thank you to the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County for hosting and to all of the organizations and community leaders who helped make this summit possible. Hate has no place in our communities, and education and collaboration remain essential to combating it.
