It's Oct. 7th again. Three years have passed. The war is over--to a certain extent--and today is a time to look back and reflect. Here at Israel Story, while the conflict raged, we created 71 portraits of people affected by the events. Some tragically, some peripherally. Rachel Rabin-Yaakov died this week at the age of 101. An educator, a pioneer, and one of the founding members of Kibbutz Manara, Rachel spent decades living and working in Israel’s Upper Galilee. We had the privilege to sit with Rachel at her home in Manara while she tells us about her older brother, Slain former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. A shy and quiet boy, a talented soccer player, and fiercely protective of his little sister. Here's a glimpse of Rachel in her own voice.
