What’s the future of the Abraham Accords? What’s the potential impact if countries like Saudi Arabia and Lebanon join? Rawan Osman @rawanosman2024 shares her thoughts in my interview with her on the latest episode of @theonewayticketshow. In our full conversation, the the Syrian-Lebanese activist, writer, and content creator based in Germany, highlights how growing up in Lebanon she was taught to hate Israel and Jews. A chance encounter with a Jewish shopkeeper in Strasbourg, France changed her entrenched mindset and put Rawan on a course of self-discovery that led the once Hezbollah fan to become, as she describes it, a recovered Antisemite and Arab Zionist. Today, Rawan is converting to Judaism and will be making Aliyah (moving to Israel, making it her home). In the interview, Rawan, who is a research and diplomacy fellow at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs, also discusses Hezbollah, the future of Lebanon, breaking down barriers, and more. As for Rawan’s one way ticket destination of choice? It’s to 50 years into the future to see what the world will look like. I hope you tune into gear Rawan as she offers a unique take on a part of the world that is so misunderstood. You can catch the interview on our YouTube Channel, the show’s website (links to both in the bio) or wherever you get your podcasts, e.g., Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc., simply search for “The One Way Ticket Show”. #israel #lebanon #saudiarabia #mideast #antisemitism
