In the aftermath of the "Christ at the Checkpoint" conference, it is well that we should step back and evaluate its true content and outcome.

Many in the Messianic Jewish community were thrilled to watch the excellent presentation that Wayne Hilsden made at the conference.  From our perspective, Wayne's lecture was biblical, clear, and irrefutable; hence our enthusiasm and near expectation that those attending would certainly "see the light" at last.  But nothing could be further from the truth.

Some 200,000 Israeli children throughout southern Israel spent Sunday hiding in bomb shelters instead of going to school as Gaza-based Palestinian terrorists continued pouring missiles and mortars into the area.

I bet that the Messianic Jews who attended Christ at the Checkpoint (CatC) are not so thrilled that their names are forever attached to this conference manifesto; in fact it turns out they were not even aware that such a manifesto was being produced and it was not submitted to the conference to be agreed to by delegates.

Shalom! For those who have heard that something took place today at our house in Ariel, we had an incident at about 12:30, when a large, closed, brown carton was brought to our door and left by someone. When we looked on our security cameras, we saw a man in his 30's wearing a kippa, with a Purim mask not on his face but put up on his head, bringing the package, ringing the doorbell and then running down the stairs. We immediately called the police, closed our steel enforced door and went into the bedroom furthest away from the hallway. Then we called all the believers in town to warn them about any suspicious packages at their doors or next to their property.
