About Kehila.org

Kehila.org is a platform for sharing content by the Messianic community in Israel.

Kehila is a Hebrew word that means "community" or "congregation."

Kehila.org aims to be a community website for all believers in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah from various streams, backgrounds, and languages.  There is one Body of Messiah in Israel with many parts.

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Messiah. (1 Corinthians 12:12)

The website consists of three main sections of user-generated content.

1) Articles: written by Kehila members about kehila-related news, Israel-related news, commentaries, teachings, or testimonies. Additionally, Kehila members may share or re-post articles from public news websites that are of interest to the Messianic community.
2) Directory: a searchable directory of congregations, ministries, and businesses in the Messianic Community, both in Israel and outside of Israel.
3) Classified Ads/Events: advertisements submitted by Kehila members regarding events, jobs, housing needs, items for sale, etc. (This section is limited to Kehila members only.)

Shared content may either be viewable by the public or limited to certain groups only, which requires login. There are two main groups. Soon, users will be able to create custom private groups to share content.

1) Friends of the Messianic Community in Israel: This group includes all users who registered on the website with a valid email address.
2) Kehila members: This group includes all registered users that have entered the name of a congregation in their user settings and received verification from a congregational leader.
3) Custom groups: Ad-hoc groups created by Kehila members. This functionality is not yet available.

Kehila.org is developed and maintained by a team of Israeli believers who desire to bring together and strengthen the Messianic community in Israel.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10 NKJV)
