Kids really love to help others less fortunate, and they had that opportunity recently when our school was invited to be part of the grand opening of a community center/bomb shelter, financially undertaken by the Jerusalem Institute of Justice and Jerusalem Prayer Team, built especially for Holocaust survivors. Our students helped to assemble shopping carts and fill them with Passover goods that had been purchased for these individuals. You can see the kids carrying all the food and packing the carts – enjoying every minute of it. What a testimony it was to these unbelieving elderly people, and what a great way to show kids that, even at their age, they have something special to contribute to those who need help!
